AVIO usb adapterNot usable with my ios devices, getting unsupported device messages when connected to my iPhones and or iPadsAudinate has been made aware of this and could replicate the problem. The latest I heard from them was that it washanded to the developers for a fix which will/should be available sometime in the future with a new firmware upgrade.I purchased 2 of these items for use now and not sometime in the future when they may perhaps work as advertised.Money down the drain. With tongue in cheek I withdraw my comments above and upgrade my findings to a fully deserved 5 star. I was prompted to write a negative review because, unbeknown to me at the time, none of the ligntning to USB adapters and or cables I purchased through Amazon, were manufactured according to MFI requirements. In other words they are just junk. After I obtained proper MFI certified cables, from one of Amazon’s competitors the Audinate AVIO USB adapters I purchased are now working exceptionally well, and I recommend them to anybody who wishes to venture into the realm of DANTE (Digital audio network technology) I just wish that I could get a refund for the junk adapters and cables that I was stupid enough to purchase through Amazon. Another aspect that surprised me that Audinate support actually advised that they could replicate my problem and that a fix will be included in a future firmware release. Audinate support has clearly also been using a “junk or faulty genuine apple cable” to be able to replicate my problem. In defence of Audinate I would nevertheless like to categorically state that their support has always been prompt and of a high quality, so nothing wrong there.

Better Option than VIAIf you are using Dante in your live sound/recording rig, then this device is a cheap way to input your sound from the network onto a pc. Short of using purpose built audio I/O, this device lets you duplicate a mix you are already sending out on the network. It also works as an access point for a pc into the dante realm. Seems to work better than the VIA program Audinate sells.

Truly USB class-compliant… works on Android, Linux, effortlesslyGreat adapter! Literally just plug it in and it works on everything. No sync issues. Powered from PoE or USB. Sturdy adapter. It’s a bit big and bulky, but there’s a ton of hardware crammed in there. The only thing I wish Audinate did differently is sell us the boards out of these adapters directly, to make it easier to integrate them into other projects. (A tablet or smartphone case, for example.)

Works great, but is overpriced.Works well, without the Multicast problems associated with MacOS direct connections via Dante Virtual Soundcard. Would give this 5 stars if it was priced appropriately. At the end of the day, it’s a usb to Ethernet converter that’s overpriced.
