Nice sound
I am a DJ and I needed a portable speaker to use outside. For ceremony music, it does its job, the connection is very good, Bluetooth works very well, it’s black, and doesn’t have any fancy. Disco lights on it, so it stays out of sight which is good. The only problem is the microphone, you have to be quite near the microphone in order for it to be heard, and the volume isn’t at great, but it’s very difficult to find an outside speaker with a microphone included that has audible range. So for the price it does but it’s supposed to.

I needed a pa system for vocals and music for an outdoor wedding ceremony, to include a wireless microphone, and found out at the last minute I would not have access to AC power. I needed a product ASAP and because I had a limited budget, I also needed something inexpensive. So, I decided to get this product as Amazon had it in stock for Prime delivery, and I was happy with previous Pyle products I had purchased.Pros: Amazon got it to me quickly, and at $106 it fit in my budget. It’s battery lasted as long as I needed it to. it’s handle, wheels, and light weight made transport very convenient. The included wireless microphone had a good range, had adequate sound quality, and worked as expected from a distance of over 50 feet. It was easy to set up and get running with Bluetooth, and had no connectivity issues. And it was surprisingly loud, and carried well for a crowd of over 100 people outdoors when I put it on a tripod speaker stand.Cons: I’d recommend this only if you needed a PA primarily for vocals with a wireless mic, but not for a primarily musical program. There is very little low end to this speaker and the sound quality is very flat; my son’s $20 bluetooth player sounds much better than this does when playing music, despite only having a speaker the size of a 25-cent piece. The supplied microphone feels cheap and picked up a lot of ambient noise. I wish the AC adapter, remote, and microphone could be stashed in a compartment or socket molded into the unit. Setup could be better documented, I had to blindly stumble through the unit’s control menu to figure out how to turn off the unit’s voice prompts.It’s easy to be too harsh on this product because of it’s main shortcoming of not really being well suited for music programs. But it’s quite loud, it’s convenient, it’s portable, and it for $100 it worked well for what I needed it to do. I count that as a win, and for that reason alone I am satisfied with my purchase. I give it 3.5 stars because I was really hoping for better sound quality for music, but will round up to 4 to be charitable.

Just what the group needed.
We bought the PA for group meetings. We need something not too heavy but powerful enough for a medium sized group (30 people) in a twelve table room, easy to operate, and not with a lot of cordsThe Pyle PSBT105A filled the bill perfectly.

Impressive sound at an affordable price. I use it as a PA for a club at school and it meets our needs. We use it in a room over 1,000 sq. ft. The sound is good and if we ever need it for karaoke it’s good for that too.

So far, so good…
Item arrived as advertised and within 2 days. Plugged it in and Bluetooth automatically enabled which made it very easy to connect to my phone. Sound quality was good, not great when turned up to a higher output. This model does not come with a base/treble control which would be useful to turn up the volume without concern of blowing the speaker due to heavier base. Plenty loud though if you aren’t as concerned about perfectly clear audio.The microphone that came with it isn’t much to write home about. I noticed that you have to keep your mouth nearly touching the mic in order for it to pick up your voice well. Not a big concern for what we are using it for.The real test will be at our next outdoor movie night but I expect it will perform as needed. Overall, happy with the purchase so far and will add to this post if it does something weird worth updating about.

Great speaker with all the inputs you need
The reviews are right that when you turn on unit it says POWER ON at 100% volume (so prepare your ears and anyone else around you).But you CAN turn off the “power on” prompt/greeting by simply pressing and holding the input change button until “0104” shows up on screen.So with that being said, the speaker is loud and clear. I haven’t tested the microphone that comes with it (it’s super light and would’ve prefer a mic with some weight to it) as I’m using my Rode Wireless GO II lavalier with it which works perfectly.If you’re looking for something to literally amplify your voice, this is it with the all the inputs and outputs you’d need.Everything else (USB reader, Mp3 player, battery powered, etc) are all bonuses to me.Re: the built-in battery, I do wish there was some indicator but apparently battery life is great so time will tell when I’ll found out how long this thing lasts without being plugged in/charged.

Great speaker for outdoor event!
We bought this to use at a charity pickleball event. We needed both a public address system and a speaker for music. The Pyle 1000W worked perfectly! The sound was loud enough to be heard across eight courts. The mic is easy and works well. I’m sure that it’s not perfect audio, but it was great for our event. The speaker paired easily with my phone and the music sounded great. The best part is that the battery lasted for the entire five hour event! There was no power available so the battery life was critical. Considering most A/V companies were going to charge $150 just to rent a system, this one did the job perfectly for much less.
