MarketHype challenges traditional survey tools – connecting feedback, event data, and marketing
MarketHype, a leading platform for audience development and event marketing, is launching a brand-new survey tool for the events and experiences industry. The new feature enables organizers to integrate feedback with event data, customer profiles, and marketing – making it possible to act on insights both more intelligently and more efficiently.
“Many organizers already collect large amounts of data about their audience, but lack a real understanding of what visitors actually think and feel. At the same time, traditional survey tools often live in separate systems, which makes feedback difficult to use in practice. We wanted to change that,” says Erik Lindholm, CEO and Founder of MarketHype.
The new survey tool is developed specifically for the events industry and fully integrated into MarketHype’s platform. Every response is automatically linked to specific events, productions, and customer profiles. This makes it possible to analyze audience experiences at a more detailed level, compare results across different events, and target marketing based on actual feedback.
“For us, this is about making feedback genuinely useful. When survey responses are linked directly to event data and customer segments, organizers can quickly identify, for example, new visitors who had a positive experience – and reach them again with relevant communication. It creates better decision-making and more accurate activities,” says Christofer Eliasson, Head of Product and Founder.
The launch is one step in MarketHype’s work to bring event data, marketing, and feedback together in a single platform. By combining transactional, demographic, and qualitative data, organizers get a more complete picture of their audience and can take a more data-driven approach to audience development.
MarketHype currently has around 250 customers in the events and hospitality industry in the Nordics, and is actively expanding into Europe. The new feature was released on 16 April in connection with a live-streamed product launch. Ready-made survey templates have since been added, and further features – such as automatic identification of recurring topics in free-text responses – are planned for release this spring.
