I’m a believer now.Okay…I HAD to try it. I have a thing about finding diamonds in the rough. This little mic qualifies. I have some very well-respected mainstream microphones…and really don’t need any more. That said, I had to try the Behringer 8500…yup, it was legit. Now the Behringer “upgrade” SM-85a, by contrast, was a disappointment…the 8500 sounded better to my ears and had far less handling noise. CAD mics are also an incredible value in a microphone. That brings me to the Weymic WM58…very, very close to the Behringer 8500…for eleven bucks less! (okay, I did sorta admit that I look for low-hanging fruit) The sound is very well-balanced, with maybe a little hot spot in the midrange, but, despite some comments to the contrary, I did notice a proximity effect, which I appreciate in fattening up a vocal. Construction is solid. I see a lot of situations where an individual probably doesn’t need to spend any more money to have a good-sounding working microphone.Well done, Weymic!

Surprisingly goodI bought a couple of these mics to try out. I didn’t want to pay $100 for a Shure SM-58. Let me tell you, these mics are just as good and the price is right. Unless someone reads the text on the mic, they would never know the difference between this and a Shure. If you are on a budget and need a quality microphone, this is a good choice.

Insanely good for the priceI got this mic after reading some good reviews and WOW, it feels, looks, and most importantly sounds AMAZING. This is easily the best SM-58 clone in this price range, might get another for a dual mic setup.

Where is my off and on button what I looked at had oneI don’t like that it didn’t have an off and on button the one I looked at did, when your on stage it’s hard to walk behind the drummer and turn it off and if you walk away from it it will feed back, I would appreciate it if someone would send me the product I ordered.

SM58 for the 1/7 of the priceVery well constructed microphone. I took it apart and everything match the real sm58. thru mid-size pv system you cannot tell the difference.

Actually quite good. Surprising for the price.I haven’t put it to an oscilloscope to examine it that precisely, but to the ear, it is actually fairly good quality – for its low cost, surprisingly good. If you’re looking for an on/off switch on it, it doesn’t have one.
