Great Option!Let me quantify, I am NOT an audio expert, but a Amateur videographer.I have multiple brands of this style mic, I tested this Mic on multiple sources. This Mic was tested on these, Hero8, ZV-E10, One RS, and Note 20 5GI noticed with the Note 20 a very quiet, but noticeable high pitched whine. I tested multiple mics on the Note 20, using the same adapter cable (usb to 3.5mm) but I was unable to reproduce the whine on any other mic, because I was concerned it was the cable I had purchased, causing the whine, but it was not.I dont know if this is a fluke, or if it was possibly something in the background this mic was picking up that others were not, but I was also not able to reproduce the whine on any other of the test sources I used. The Mic is very good looking, heavy, and has a very solid feel.I appreciate the adjustable mount, to adapt to multiple cameras or systems.

Great capturing of sounds from this micThe media could not be loaded.
The quality of the microphone it’s fantastic. Good sound for my Sony ZV camera. I wanted to also use it on my phone but it’s not compatible with iPhone devices since it uses a 3mm input.
