ProblematicThe speakers initially worked well, but there is a serious issue with the bluetooth receiver. It has always been extremely temperamental, often dropping the connection. Now, about a year and a half after installation, it will not even connect. If it does register as a bluetooth device, then it does not recognize the pin. There is no way to reset the unit, and I’m ready to drop it in the garbage.Not a good purchase overall.

Just what I neededI’ve read the reviews before buying this setup. No on off switch, no volume control, not much base, all that. Well I decided on these for several reasons. Most of all better than what I had already. My phone is my stereo, and video player and can control the volume with that, the amplifier is plugged into a power strip and have an on off switch on it, I’m 61 and don’t need massive bass and volume, yet the system is adequate for the volume I’m getting. Anybody with knowing how to read can install these. I’m pleased with my purchase, and have only one very minor complaint. The screwdriver that came with it to put the speaker wire in the amplifier is about as useless as can be. Not really worth mentioning at all since I’m a cabinetmaker and have a vast amount of tools. My movies and music is much better to listen to now. And for the price its outstanding.

PlyesJust didn’t realize how big there were. And I didn’t want to cut into ceiling,it was trying to wire these up . I was hoping for strictly blue tooth no wires unless to power them.so I just return them and get something more simple.

AVOID THESE SPEAKERSI bought these speakers and installed them. One of them sounds horrible, so I contacted Pyle and they said they would send me a new one. After a few weeks I email them and asked for status of the speaker. They said they were not going to send me a speaker. That I needed to send them the one that sounds busted to see what is wrong with it. I told them why didn’t they tell me that from the beginning instead of wasting time. I told them sending that speaker back and forth would cost more than what the speaker is worth and they would spend more money like that. They said “well we are not covering the cost of it going back and forth” after dealing with them for a few weeks I finally told them to cancel this report and here I am warning you guys. Stay away from Pyle they have poor customer service and the speakers are cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

Could Do With A Bit More Bass but I still love themFor the price they are great, I would have loved a little more bass but for the space they are lovely, also the range could be a bit better and it is for those reasons why I give it 4 stars but I am still pleased.

Great for background music!We installed these over a nurses station to help voices carrying into/between patient rooms. They work fantastic and connect easily through Bluetooth to our computer. I would definitely buy again. We did need to unplug and plug back in 1 time. Computer connected instantly.

Good for moneyThese are good speakers and I have installed them in my living room and bathroom. They are easy to install and set-up with a simple drywall saw and screwdriver. I think the sound is pretty good, but for an audiophile they might be too tinny. They have really good Bluetooth range and will stay connected even when I’m on another floor. The one improvement would be the ability to change the Bluetooth name and password. This is especially important when you have more than one set.
