Don’t Buy ThisDon’t buy this projector. Only has digital zoom. No user manual. Only a quick setup insert with TINY, TINY print. Optoma does not have manuals online for this projector. The manuals they have are for similar models. The Optoma website is impossible to navigate. Setup is finicky and cumbersome. Supposed to be 4200 lumens. Picture washes out in very low room lighting. Annoying bleed over of light around picture. Vertical sides of picture are not straight. Keystone is very hard to get right. Very frustrating customer experience. Recommend buy a different brand because their documentation is so bad. Lesson: Always download and read manual before buying.

Great quality in all lightingI bought this for a garage golf simulator. Screen size 8×10.5 feet or 160 inches diagonal. It is ceiling mounted about 6 feet away. Operation is quiet. Doesn’t produce much if any noticeable heat and most importantly the image and color rendering is excellent. Sound is meh, but it does support external speakers/sound bars so it’s not really an issue. I originally purchased the optoma gt1080hdr but returned it as image was not very good. The gt1090hdrx is significantly better. Plus- this version has laser lighting so no bulb replacement and is dust rated which is useful in my setting. I’ve also used it to watch sporting events as well as movies and it projects them both very well.
