Not “waterproof” or even water resistant IP67
I put these on the back of my rig, and they were bright as all hell! …until it rained ( and my truck wiring was shorted out). I only used 6 of the 10. I went so far as to put silicone arount the glass, and hot glue on that back wires (previous lights had a problem with the wiring sheath coming loose). Still, water got into one of 2 lights…this time only exploding the light…not shorting my truck again. Save your money and buy submersible lights if you do anything outdoors! I did like the beam pattern tho…flood and spot combo in a small package. I didn’t request a refund, i just chalked it up as a trial-n-failure.

Lenses do come out
I used these to add extra lighting to a friend’s golf cart. He has difficulty seeing in the dark so I added 6 of these in addition to his headlights. They added a LOT of brightness but one of the lenses did pop out after a couple of weeks. Fortunately, he did save the lens, as someone else said a little clear silicone caulk should fix the problem.

A little sun
I haven’t had time to install them on my truck, but have tried connecting to a 12V power supply and they are very bright. Even if only one light is on, I can’t see it with my eyes. It can be imagined that they will become a little sun in the dark outdoors. Their metal shell is very light, and the surface of the LED lights is very hard, just like your car lights. By the way, the speed of delivery is completely unaffected by the epidemic.

I installed them on my CNC machine for workpiece lighting
These work really well. They have an internal voltage regulator, so you can supply between 12 and 24 volts. The current draw is about 1.3 amps at 12 volts (15 watts) and 0.7 amps at 24 volts. The case aluminum case/heat sink is alright. They’re very light, and permanently sealed. The voltage regulator has a blocking diode to protect them if you hook the wires up backwards. 24vdc is perfectly acceptable. My CNC machine outputs 24 volts AC, which is not ideal. They will run off of 24 volts AC but will strobe. I installed a full bridge rectifier and that solved it.The LEDs are SUPER focused on one tiny little spot. It’s like a laser beam. Also there’s a weird color issue where the spot of light actually looks blue in the center. I took some sand paper and scuffed up the lens to soften the light output. It worked great. The aluminum (painted? anodized?) case is bolted directly to a stamped steel bracket, which appears to be zinc plated. Expect corrosion issues if these lights will be exposed to salt or brine.Overall these are very good little lights for the price. Recommended.
