I don’t even like giving bad reviews, but this was just terrible.The media could not be loaded.
I bought this product to use as a microphone with my camera that doesn’t have a headphone hack to connect a microphone to it. For it to be at a low, affordable price, I figured that it would be a breeze to set up, but boy was I wrong.When I opened it, I was greeted with all the pieces being there together. The presentation was nice. I took everything out to use. Plugged the transmitter into my phone and turned on the microphone just for the mic to goad red and green for a couple of seconds. I tried it again to see if if the second time would work. Unsuccessful. So, I plugged the microphone up and figured it may need to charge. An hour and a half later, it’s fully charged. I try it again and it still doesn’t work. So, now I figure to charge the transmitter. The charger doesn’t even fit in the port for the transmitter.This was a waste of time and money, in my opinion. Maybe I’m just impatient and didn’t give it enough time to do what it needs to do but I’m more than sure that it shouldn’t take as much as it did to set up.

Good basic wireless micThis is a good quality basic mic for recording on an iPhone or other Apple product. No setup was required, just plug into the lightning port and turn on the lavalier mic. I tested it for about 2 hours for general vlogging recording with an iPhone 14 Max Pro and battery charge was fine. Sound quality is a tiny bit less than the built-in mic but probably not noticeable by most people, and it’s certainly offset by the ability to be much further away from the phone and/or turned away from the phone. I also did a few test recordings with singing and the quality was about the same as the wired Apple earbuds. Not sound recording quality by any means, but adequate for most general applications. Definitely an excellent value for price, would recommend purchase for light vlogging and similar recording needs.

Sound Quality not 100% but definitely good for the priceIt’s a little lower quality and feels cheaper than I expected but works fine with short distances. I’d say it works a little worse than the iPhone microphone.

Decent RangeLightweight mic has a surprisingly good sound and range. While the sound is clear and crisp, the volume needs a bit of a boost, but that was not an issue for me.It feels like it’s going to break easily, but so far it hasn’t. Battery life has been excellent and gets it done for a great price.

Does what it is saysI am not sure how best to review this. It does what it Says it does. The sound is clear and the lapel is very unintrusive. I have only used it once to test it. I will need to use it more to make a better determination.I did take away point because the directions were very unclear. It took a moment to figure it out.I am starting some recording soon for a project. If anything goes according to plan, this review will stay as is, if not, I’ll write more.

For the price point this is a great optionCompared to other items on Amazon this was priced lower than most. I’ve not used other mics like this but this one works just fine and I didn’t have any issues getting it to work with my iPhone 13 pro. It says it can work with multiple mics but I guess you need to get another one to try that out as it just comes with 1. The battery seemed to work for the limited sessions I used this for.
