Ordered a new product received a used one with a damaged boxUnfortunately due to me living outside of the US of A, returning this will cost me quite the fee. So I will test it and hope It has no issues. But I’m pretty bummed that I had to pay full price for a product I ordered to be brand new and sealed when in reality I received a used one with a cut out piece of the packaging box.Edit:The mic works very well so I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it, but sadly I discovered that is should have come with an arm adapter that lets you attach the mic to a standard boom arm which I already own. But without the adapter I can’t do that.

A nice compact travel-mic with good sound quality.I bought this microphone to take with me when I need to record or stream while on the go. Otherwise I have rodecaster and podmic’s but they’re too heavy & big to travel with. Also to send to my podcast guests if they don’t want to come to my home/studio, pretty convenient for that.The sound quality is surprisingly good. Without any effects it’s really clean, has body on the low end and is crisp enough on the highs. Being a cardioid, though, it tends to pick up noises pretty good, so I use it about 2 fists away from my mouth and precisely on the top of 2 dots for gain to minimise background. Could of-course go lower if I were to bring it even closer with stand extensions, but comfort has a price too..Now the build and look – look is superb, I got the white version which in my estimation looks more premium, attracts the eye but also doesn’t disturb or stand out too much. In terms of build quality – the stand is nice but mic itself is light and plasticy and doesn’t really feel sturdy. Which is good for mobility but podmic in the same price range delivers a lot more for the price having a robust build.My mic had actually 2 cracks in the connection clamp so I had to reach for a partial refund and elgato support. They are selling spare parts which aren’t expensive, but this for me pronounced the poor build aspect of it; we’ll see how fast it wears during constant transit..
