Fantastic product for home recording
Very good product for home recording, live performance or pod casting. Supports direct recording in phones with USB Type C. Only reverb effect is available. Some more effects like echo could have been very useful for live performances. Nevertheless a professional product.

Easy to use and great for podcasts
Once I downloaded the updated drivers from the Yamaha website, this mixer performs effortlessly. The sound quality is great, what you’d expect from Yamaha and the mixer is easy to use. Powers itself from the usb connection to your PC so no additional power cords required. Phantom power if you need it and you can mix in other sources.

Great sound and build quality but I went with the AG06 MK2
I have the original AG06 but saw the AG03 MK2 and AG06 MK2 as heavily discounted warehouse deals and decided to check them out. I mainly sing and play an acoustic-electric ukulele through the AG06 but use acoustic-electric guitars and keyboards and route them to monitors and my iMac. The AG effects for acoustic instruments are great. The advertising says they have improved the audio quality with updated circuitry, but I can’t hear a significant difference with the MK2. The main reason you would be buying the MK2 models is for the USB-C connection and to possibly future proof when they stop supporting the original AG apps. Also the MK2 devices have mute buttons, which is very handy.Ultimately, the AG03 is only slightly smaller than the AG06 because the linear fader takes up more space than the rotary knob. But, the AG06 has an additional channel strip designed for an instrument with its own mute switch, whereas the AG03 gangs this input together with the stereo line inputs. For this reason the AG06 is the way to go if you have multiple instruments and want to keep them connected so they are ready to go. I found the AG03 linear fader to move with very little force, which could be good for riding the volume of a voice-over track but in my application sitting on a desk it is too easily disrupted and not useful.

This device solved every problem i had!!
This is perfect for a bedroom guitarist! I live stream/record/make guitar videos and this product solved every past issue ive had trying to make content. The aux in is a life saver for recording one take live guitar videos directly with your pc capture card. The sound quality is so crisp, and the back track sounds full and clear. There is a little noise with the condenser mic but honestley its not that noticable. 6/5 stars no joke!

Great mixer but two issues were a deal breaker
I really wanted this to work, it has built-in compression and eq, which solves having to run this in software. While the XLR input worked great, the headset input seemed to suffer from a ground loop issue, touching the mixer or the laptop reduced it, but then when ever I typed it would get noticeably quieter then louder when I moved my hands off the laptop. While the mixer works with Linux the effects didn’t seem to work (to be fair it does state either Mac or Windows, but I do have other devices which work fine on Linux, you could here them when monitoring but they were not in the recording/call, tried flipping the switch from dry to mixer) which negated having them on board. The effects did work fine with my Mac though, apart from the ground loop issue. I returned, which is a pity as I liked the form factor but having buzz in your calls and recordings wasn’t acceptable.

Misleading TRRS jack description. No callers!
The TRRS jack on this device is meant to connect to your smartphone, yet it cannot allow your caller to hear any content from your computer, such as pre-recorded soundbites, etc.! Despite having a input level control for computer playback, said playback is not included in the “INPUT MIX” that returns to the smartphone. Yes, there is a LOOPBACK selector which, if selected, will cause computer playback to go to your smartphone. But then, of course, the smartphone will then “hear itself” too, and your caller will have an echo. What is the point of having a TRRS input jack if you can’t use it to properly interface with your smartphone?Oh, and the Ch1 fader is extremely easy to slide… almost too easy… as in “delicate”. The rest of the unit feels pretty stout.Returned.

Extremely difficult to set up
Ridiculously difficult to set up (including downloading drivers and controllers).I’ve been working on that for over 2 hours and it looks like I still haven’t figured that out.

Nice mixer for beginners
Very nice. Only issue is that the software breaks and needs clean uninstall/reinstall sometimes
