Great Compact MixerFirst off, this review is based on the Zed 6FX. 4 stars vs the Zed 10 FX, which I would give 5 stars. Zed 6FX is missing the USB in/out. Not a deal breaker as that is not what I needed it for. The first 6FX I received was faulty, as channel 4 did not work. Amazon made a quick, easy and painless return and exchange. The new one works flawlessly. Some difference between the 6FX and the 10FX. The build quality of the 6FX seems to be a little on the lighter/cheaper side. With that being said it still outperforms all other brands with a similar footprint. Allen & Heath effects section is great. Whether the 6 stands the test of time as the 10 has, is still yet to be determined. Great buy.

No RCA or 1/4th outOnly issue I had with this is that the only out is 2 XLR cords instead of a 1/4th out or a RCA out. Otherwise sound quality is sweet out of the headphone out. But going into my computer their is a slight hiss, most likely an issue on my end.

Interference!Man, I really wanted to love this mixer, even though I’ve always bought Behringer in the past. It looks so sleek, even eye-catching. But it was a nightmare. I ended up ripping apart and re-wiring/cabling my entire setup just to try and accommodate this mixer, foolishly thinking it couldn’t likely be the cause since it was brand new, so it must be something I have configured wrong. Well, after several hours, 2 newly purchased power conditioners, and an audio interface swap, come to find out, it was definitely the mixer (sigh) smh. Even with my old Behringer, which I thought may have been part of a problem I was having originally, the signal is crystal clear when connected to the new interface (Scarlett 2i2). But when I hook up the A&H, an instant buzzy staticky mess. If you work with audio, then you know how maddening noise can be. Especially if you cant figure out where its coming from. Hopefully I just happened to get a bad apple. On the bright side, however, if it weren’t for this thing I may not have upgraded the things I admittedly should have done a long time ago. So in the end, my setup now sounds a lot better than it had been, which was my objective after all. Therefore, I don’t altogether regret this purchase. But I did end up returning it for a full refund.

Good little mixer, but could use an extra pair of 1/4 TRS outsSolid product, but could be much better if there was an extra pair of 1/4 TRS outs. That would make it a perfect little mixer.
