Description
Pioneer DJ DJ Mixer (DJM250MK2)
From the manufacturer

Pioneer DJ Electric Guitar Single Effect, Black
The DJM-250MK2 has inherited some of the professional features of the popular DJM-900NXS2, such as the Magvel crossfader and Sound Color FX filter. Straightforward controls, a clear layout, and dedicated 3-band isolators let you scratch and mix instinctively.
The dithering technology on this mixer results in warm, high-quality audio from both analogue and digital sources. Plus its built-in sound card lets you connect the mixer to your PC/Mac and use rekordbox to perform with CDJs. Or hook up the DJM-250MK2 to turntables and use rekordbox in combination with our control vinyl to scratch and mix with digital files stored on your computer.

Features
- CLEAR LAYOUT & MAGVEL FADERS: The clear layout of the DJM-250MK2’s lower half gives you freedom to perform complicated scratch techniques. Our robust Magvel Faders ensure smooth control over long-term use. 2 metal shafts support the fader knobs, while the contact-free magnetic system is designed to endure millions of movements.
- SMOOTH MIXING: Precise, fluid mixes are a breeze using the mixer’s channel faders, and the 3-band isolators give precision across the highs, mids and lows. You can use them to totally eliminate each frequency range when you turn the knob all the way to the left.
- FLAGSHIP FILTER FX: Each channel comes with its own dedicated Sound Color FX filter, a feature inherited from the DJM-900NXS2 mixer. Simply turn the knob on each channel to apply the filter, Twist the parameter knob for texture, playing with resonance and tension.

- BUILT IN USB SOUND CARD:Connect the DJM-250MK2 to your PC/Mac using a single USB cable. The USB connection supports sound input and output, so you can record your mixes to your computer’s hard drive.
- PERFORMANCE FEATURES: You can use rekordbox with this product – there’s no need to upgrade your subscription. Simply connect to your PC/Mac and start DJing.
- DVS CONTROL: Make full use of rekordbox’s low-latency DVS control for intuitive, smooth scratching.

Great mixerAwesome mixer. Great sound. There are plenty of online reviews that can go more in depth than here. It is a great mixer.

REKORDBOX DVS SUCKS ON THIS MIXERPros: decent build. Plain design, easy to use lay out. Works fine controlling Rekordbox in ‘Internal mode’ BUT….CONS: I would not recommend this mixer if you plan on using DVS vinyl to control your digital audio files. On numerous occasions, breaker box DVS would crash while using Control vinyl with this mixer. I’ve attempted to contact the software company that services breaker box and they keep giving me the runaround on various things to do to try to get it to work. I’m not sure if it’s a faulty sound card in the mixer or it’s just that record box DVS is such a crappy software program. Anyways long story short I’m done with Pioneer products and software. Customer service keeps dropping the ball with this issue of rekordbox crashing almost every time especially when I’m streaming on twitch. I would not recommend this mixer nor any Pioneer products from this point forward stick with Serato capable mixers for DVS control

Unbeatable at this priceATTN: This mixer is intended for use with Rekordbox DJ/DVS. If you plan to use this mixer for Serato, I would suggest buying the DJM-S3 instead as it is identical but supports the Serato DJ software. You can however, use this as a regular analog mixer and even connect a serato interface box (SL2, SL3, etc) to the line in ports. As for the DJM-250MK2, this is an AMAZING bedroom mixer for the money and a great way to get into Rekordbox DJ. I say “bedroom” mixer but you could take this out to gigs without any issues and get quality sound. The only reason I say this is better for practice at home is because there is no booth outputs. To me, this is a minor issue since the other features heavily outweigh the one flaw. The included Rekordbox DJ and DVS license alone is a value of $230. Combine this with a pro scratch fader, filter knobs, MIDI control, XLR outputs and a built-in sound card, no other mixer can compete at this price point.

Awesome Pioneer mixer!!Love the mixer, only wish it had a few more filters. Other than that , it’s a solid mixer that sounds really nice, and compliments my XDJ-700 very well. Looks very professional!! So happy with my purchase, you can’t go wrong for a basic mixer with a few bells and whistles at this price point.

Amazing product…bad tech supportThis is an amazing product. It’s a Pioneer, so no surprise. Before I purchased this I tried a couple different mixers including the Gemini PMX 10 (which was garbage BTW). I’m writing this so you don’t waste your time. This is the one to buy for this price.Update:I’m changing my rating because the customer support for this product is horrible. If you have an issue they are helpless. Their tech support is based in Japan and they do not speak English (their words), so phone support is impossible leaving only email. Useless.
