Premium Truss Rod Wrench – 5mm for Martin Guitars

Having the right tool to perform your key gear adjustments is essential. MusicNomad’s 5mm Truss Rod Wrench is the perfect tool for adjusting Truss Rods that are located deeper in the soundhole. Our durable steel construction with nickel finish is designed to work over and over again. The 4.75” long arm combined with the ball end design allows you to adjust Truss Rods found on popular acoustic guitars that use a 5mm nut, such as all models of Martin Guitars except DSS-2018, OMSS-2019, Modern Deluxe Series and SC-13E. The ergonomic handle provides extra length, comfort and control, making turning easier. That’s MusicNomad quality – raising the bar in equipment care.

Extra Long Arm with Ergonomic Handle

The extra long arm of 4.75” long combined with the ball end design allows you to reach the Truss Rods located deep in the soundhole while keeping your strings under tension. The ergonomic handle provides extra length, comfort and control, making turning easier.

Protective Bumper

We even supply a small protective bumper on the tip when we ship it and that can be slid down the wrench to act as a protective bumper in one of two ways, where the wrench may come into contact with the strings to avoid the metal coming into with your strings or on the elbow if you are ever concerned about hitting it on the soundhole.

Size Etching

Stop fumbling around trying to find the right size truss rod for the guitar you are working on. We have etched the 5mm size right on the Truss Rod Tool to make it easy to find the proper size.

Durable Steel Construction

Our durable steel construction with a nickel finish is designed to work over and over again. The ball end design allows you to connect with the truss rod nut even if you come in at a slight angel.

  2. PSL Michelle

Hurray – I can finally adjust my Martin on my own!I have two Martin guitars and they are the only instruments I received without truss rod wrenches. Nice to be able to make little adjustments as needed.

  3. Matt

Works on my MartinI use this to adjust the truss ros on my gpc-13e Martin guitar.

  4. JR Bermudez

Good for Martin guitar! The adjustment is deep inside the Martin guitar I worked on and I was able to make proper adjustments. The handle helped out to to my get a proper bite on turning the truss rod. Great product!

  5. songman52

Fits Martin guitarsThis wrench makes it much simpler to adjust the neck on my Martin guitar. It has the long reach necessary, along with a long enough handle to get torque on the wrench.

  6. Amazon Customer

Worked on a problem Martin D18-VI own a guitar repair business. A Martin D18-V had a truss rod nut that was too near the ceiling of the truss cavity for my Stewmac wrench. The Nomad wrench worked! It’s very well made and is perfectly designed and machined. Very well priced too.

  7. WUser

It fits Martin Acoustic guitarIt fits a Martin Acoustic guitar but I thought that it had a sleeve to protect the guitar finish. Just be careful when adjusting the truss rod. I had to hold the curved part of the wrench while turning the tool clockwise. I didn’t want to split the guitar neck.

  8. customer

Good productThis tool works real well on my Martin jr. which is similar to most Martin guitars regarding the truss rod adjusting nut so far in. There are a few Martin guitars that are different, but not too many from my understanding. Please do the research for your particular guitar.

  9. Mark R

It worksAs advertised, it worked on my Road Series GPC. Seems to be a solid tool. I had no difficulty getting to the hard to reach Martin truss rod.

  10. Trish Remmey

Better than expectedQuality was better than expected. Looks kinda cheap in the pictures, but I took a chance and turned out to be pretty solid. Buy this one
