A quality outdoor Camera
I love Tuya-brand smart cameras and this particular model is great to use outdoor even if run on Wi-Fi. If you already have an account with Tuya, installation is a breeze. Just log in to your account on your smartphone, add the device as “Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)”, plug in and wait for a short greeting or prompt, then place your phone in front of the camera to scan the QR code, it should connect right away. The quality of the video is great, especially in color. You can also set to motion-detect and record each event. It also automatically turns on the light in the evening, thus I don’t have to turn on my porch light anymore. My only challenge is its installation. I wished it has more flexibility to move the screw pad to I can install the camera in the angle I need to install it in. Also, instead of the extra cable adaptor for direct modem connection which is included in the unit, a much longer cable will be more usable especially for outdoor use. What I love about using one brand (Tuya in particular) is that I can monitor my houses in 9-channel view whenever I am out of town. The cameras also have an option to turn on/off the sound. However, the sound quality is not that great but still ok and usable especially if you need to make a 2-way conversation or just make a verbal warning to trespassers. Overall, this is a great camera, and I highly recommend its purchase.

Outstanding camera.
Excellent camera. HD crisp and clear, night vision mode is awesome. It shows color at night… better that seeing only black and white. Would definitely purchase again.

Easy to connect to Smart Life App
We are using this camera strictly WIFI. It was very easy to set-up. The Smart Life found it via the QR code and the camera prompted us to allow it to format the micro SD card.

Great camera
Received our camera haven’t mounted it yet still just getting all the features down. Love the color night vision option (which turns on the spot light) and unlike our other camera once it tracks the camera returns to the original position which is nice because I keep it pointed on our vehicles

Tracks when it takes a notion.
The picture quality is pretty good. Tracking and motion detection are very intermittent. I just turned that part off. The playback software could definitely use some usability upgrades. Motion notification misses little things like cars, etc. , but at the same time pick up a cat walking by regardless of the settings.

Great value
Not sure what problems other reviews had, I had no trouble setting this up, was super easy. I recommend setting up the camera inside on your app before mounting it outside, and making sure you have good WiFi signal where you’re mounting it. I use Smart Life app for a few other lights and plugs, this works perfectly with that app (same as Tuya). Motion detection works great, camera will follow you around. Can’t beat it for the price. May pick up a couple more. Only complaint is that the screw holes are too close to the camera body to use a normal drill or driver (can’t put the screws straight in), but this is a minor design issue.

Nice and clean
This camera can recommend oh, very high definition, you can watch their home dynamics through the mobile phone at any time, sometimes at home, I can talk to them through the camera, that is safe and assured, it also can control the light~

Good camera but Installation Challenging
Nice camera if you can figure out how to install on your own. Directions for installation are either difficult or missing. The start up camera speech is not clear. Extra cable connector comes from camera with various fittings, not sure what it is used for.
