    Good sound and low cost.
The Yamaha version is nearly the exact unit. Maybe this is a Yamaha “B” stock(?) It is nearly 3 times less than the Yamaha. It works well NOW. The question is for how long? You get what you pay for!!!

    Value for the price
I was blown away by the level of technology that is built into this board. It has everything I was looking for and more. I needed at least 8 XLR channels, Mute buttons, Effects, all of those boxes got checked. Then I found when I got here, it has a USB input, it has a USB power out port and a USB out for recording on a computer and it has Bluetooth. My $4000 board at church doesn’t have Bluetooth. I got to check of all my boxes and one i only dreamed about.

    It’s a Yamaha.
Look up the Yamaha version of their 16 channel board. It’s IDENTICAL IN EVERY WAY!! Download the Yamaha manual and it’s EXACTLY the same thing for about $300 LESS than the Yamaha. Even the on-board compression algorithm is the SAME thing. Idk why companies do this. Maybe they made minor changes and want feedback before putting their name on it? Idk but this IS a YAMAHA board with a different brand on it. The ONLY difference is this unit has blutooth which is NOT available on the Yamaha. Mabe thays the feature they wanna rry out? Who know. Save hundreds and you WILL be happy!! I’m THRILLED with mine. It’s quiet as a church mouse. 😎✌️🤘

USB doesn’t connect as an interface. Provided software didnt run.
Been running all sorts of sound through it and from it! I have the outputs going to my interface to record to my daw. All the inputs are normalled to my workflow. The on board effects is a bonus. That single knob compressor is all I really need when I amp my bass with proper eq settings, same for kick and snare. Everything works! I was afraid to buy this over the Yamaha MG16xu to save a couple $100s, thinking some things won’t work. Oh, well, I guess I should mention the USB to connect to the PC or MAC doesn’t work. It’s recognized as a “headset”. The CD-Rom thats supposed to provide me with cubase and driver’s didn’t work either. BUT, I am an audio engineer student and am hoping to revive analog mixing among mainstream some day, so I got exactly what I wanted!

The USB connection has POOR quality and the unit software does not work with Win10.
This mixer is nice. However; in part, one of the reasons for purchasing the unit was to have good sound, but unfortunately the USB connection is extremely noisy…even if you turn down the gain it is still noisy. The product software comes with a CD as the only install option, which no new pc really has and it will not install on Windows 10. The seller is very responsive, but; doesn’t really have any good solutions to solving the loud USB noise and was not able to provide a definitive date as to when the product software will be available for Windows 10. The unit is recognized by a generic Windows 10 driver which does the Windows recognition of the unit for you; however, the software can not be installed. My first thought was to return to unit, but I’m going to wait until they come out with a solution for Windows 10.

    Great mixer for the price!
I usually don’t write reviews but I got this mixer in earlier and I was very impressed by the overall quality. It’s sturdy, sounds good and comes with a rack attachment, with is perfect for my use in small venues. Can’t vouch for longevity but quality is all there for a budget mixer!

  8. Heartdad

    Ok product.
This item does the job. But could be laid out a little clearer on which channels are controlling the Bluetooth and USB inputs. The effects roller knob doesn’t work unless the actual knob is pulled off. It will let you roll to the number you would like but not push the knob to actually select it.

  9. Timothy

    what’s happening?
Not sure what’s happening with this unit a lot of static issues and 1 channel is not functioning properly.I changed over to another mixing board I already had and all is well.

    Stereo slider cuts low frequencies
I needed something with enough channels and features for live sound application. This guy looked like it fit the bill, and at a very tempting price, I decided to purchase it. It has great build quality and the knobs don’t feel super cheap. When I tested it out everything worked great EXCEPT that everything sent to stereo was being cut at about 100 Hz, so I had absolutely no lows at all. Eventually I figured out that there’s a fault with the stereo slider, so I routed the left and right signal to groups 1-2 (L) and groups 3-4 (R). Works and sounds good now.
