Google and Periscope host virtual reality exploration event
Google Expeditions was designed to provide immersive virtual journeys that can bring everything students are learning about to life in a 3-D, panoramic way. A select group of college students was invited to the event and given a chance to visit the bottom of the sea, the surface of Mars, the Seven Wonders of the World and more — all in one evening.
