Lights are pretty and brightLove how easy it is to setup and use. Exactly what I was looking for. All the different color options are great.

Excellent light. These lights are almost identical to lights costing six times as much. I ordered one to test it out as I liked the specifications. I ordered five more and may get more. Amazingly bright, well constructed with an impressive heat sink. I use them in a stage setting, and the fan noise is acceptable, but we do mostly musicals, so everything is miced anyway. These are great wash lights. We will see about longevity, as other fixtures I have last about two years before things start to go wrong. At this price I care a lot less about junking one.

Lights are of good qualityAll good except for sketchy instructions for programming purposes. A little hard to understand them, otherwise they are pretty good lights.

Great Lights for the priceWe’re using several of the IP65’s in our lab and they’re working out great. They are easy to mount and setup and are a great value for the price.

Is it really 18 watt for each color? Is it 324 watt?I purchased the 18×18 LED indoor light. Everything works well through DMX control. No issue at all. However, I expected a really bright light with 324 watt rating. When comparing to my old Chauvett Slimpar Pro Tri with 18 LEDs @3 watts each, I could not see any difference in illuminance when running side by side for each color (RGB). When I compared all the colors up in the White mode, then the Shehds did show clear increase in illuminance. Does this mean this light is actually 3 watts for each color (RGBWA+V) making total 18 watts for 6 colors? Has anybody tested the actual light output from this?

This fixture has powercon and not the IP65 rated Truecon1) This Shehd IP65 LED par fixture is powercon in yellow and black to fool you into thinking it is Truecon.2) Powercon is not IP65 rated3) Shehds uses silicon caulking around the lens as weather seal. What?In one picture you can see me holding a real Truecon connectors above the Shehds fixture. In the other picture you can see the difference in a real IP65 fixture “Chauvet h12ip” and the Shehd fixture.I did video the Shehd next to the Chauvet H12ip while going thru all the color intensities but I’m not allowing Amazon access to my microphone to post.Tech specsChauvet H12ip 12x10w LED’sShehd 18x18w LED’sSide by side the Chauvet H12ip destroys the shehd 18x18w LEDs in every color. I do not think Shehd is honest about it’s 18x18w fixture. As a pro user… I bought these fixtures because I can not get IP fixtures from Chauvet or Elation in a normal timely manner. These is no way I would trust powercon in the rain for outdoor festival work.

Good build quality – but some issues with modes in manual controlPros:- These lights appear to be very well constructed – very solid metal housing.- Very bright LEDs.- Ability to interconenct power with Neutrik cables is a plus.Cons:- The sound-activated mode requires A LOT of volume in the room and the lights will need to be close to the speakers. With moderate room volume, there is virtually no response from the sound-activated mode. Sound-activated mode seems to react more to high frequencies than to low. I play bass guitar and with moderatly loud bass in the room there is no response from the lights.- Using the manual controls, there appears to be no way to dim the lights when left on a specific color. The fan is a bit loud, but you won’t hear it if there’s any music playing. I’m honestly not sure why there is even a fan because the LEDs do not even get warm to the touch after being on for a long time.
