10 reviews for rolls 3 Ch. Mic Mixer/Combiner (MX310)

Great mini-mixerThis is an excellent little device. We needed a “quick fix” to add a couple channels to our six channel mixer, without doing any major restructuring of the system. The volume controls on this little mixer are positive and accurate. Phantom power is a real bonus. It’s a great way to turn a single channel into three. There are inherent limitations, for example not having separate monitor sends for these blended channels. But it is great within its limitations.

  2. C. Roberts

Very good & simple mic mixerIt’s a very good 3-channel mic mixer if you want to combine 3 mics into one XLR out. Simple to use, with volume for each channel, but no EQ.

  3. Skater21

Great Little MixerThis is a great compact mixer that gives you the ability to control up to three separate microphones. I have been using this in our church in a smaller room where we have one corded microphone and two wireless microphones. It has helped to solve balancing issues that we have been dealing with for years. This has been a great low-cost solution to fix this problem.

thumbs upWorked just as describedSuper easy installation

dont know yet. it was dead out of the box and no power supplyi am waiting for a replacement or a credit so i can rebuy as it looks like it is perfect for my application. but at this point i cannot honestly give a report on it other than to say it does look nice and has some heft to it, not some box full of air. i will report my findings when i receive one that works

  6. Harold Kinley

poor power supplyThis product came with a switching power supply. It produced “trash” on the scope at low signal levels. Not appropriate for this type of device. I replaced the power supply with a transformer-type supply and the “trash” was gone.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY!!I would post minus 5 stars if I could! Rolls does make some nice stuff but the one I got doesn’t work properly. I had two audio engineers and an a expert on electronic devices to take a look at it and it’s just making a constant noise. The problem is THE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I did email the company and they didn’t even reply. Now I am stuck with a non functional item and I paid for it.

    Five StarsGreat little mixer.

Our Perfect SolutionWe only had one mic jack at the school where our church branch meets, but we needed 3 inputs, including the ability to play hymns from a laptop into the school cafeteria sound system. We were worried about matching the line and mic inputs. The Rolls MX310 provided the perfect solution – right out of the box! The line input for channel 3 is exactly what we needed to match the impedance of the line input with the two microphones. No additional equipment was needed.

Combined two microphonesI was limited to only eight channels on my interface I use for drums when recording. I wanted to mic the top and bottom of the snare and this allowed me to do it.
