works but quality control is hit and miss
had to return on unit where the lan port stopped working after 3 weeks, another with a defective audio jack and another where the power light is misaligned with the power button. a last one of a better model was working fine but now asks for windows the be activated after 2 and one half months of normal use.

This is the best mini-desktop
It is small and light-weight, which can be held by one hand comfortably. But it has the latest windows, several usb plug-ins both in the front and at the back and one hdmi connection. The power switch turns on a fine and minute blue dot to indicate it is working. And it works so quietly that you won’t get any decibels of sound to your ears at all. And it works steadily with my office suit, which makes me very happy! This is really a best-buy for anyone who just needs to get on line or works with Office software. I should have bought this one last time when I purchased a mini-computer that lasted for only a few weeks and it made continuous humming noise. And it had costed more than this one.

Jury is still out
Jury is still out so far it will not wake back up from hibernation. Sleep it will. Tech support a little slow but we are working on it. The unit is fast and does a good job steaming…………………..12-15-22 Update You can not wake up from hibernation unless you push power button. Which is hard if you mounted it on back of TV.

What a great mini pc
I use it connected to tv for family YouTube and media shares. So much fun to quickly pull up full browser and check facts on movies and actors. With a wireless keyboard it actually brings family together instead of all eyes on individual small screens. We play simple platform games together, it works well, I wouldn’t try AAA graphics but again it’s a fun way to add wireless controllers and enjoy family time.

GK35 with Celeron N3350 1.1GHz – 2.4GHz 4GB ram & 64GB storage good setup using Linux Mint and Kodi
It was on sale and I wanted a mini PC for my bedroom tv for video files. I was quite surprised it ran windows 10pro as well as it did with the specs of this mini pc (Celeron N3350 1.1GHz, Burst: up to 2.4GHz 4GB ram & 64GB storage). I turned off Cortona and other background apps and it did well with just about a second delay opening things. Ran all updates the saved a system image incase I wanted W10 later. I then wiped the drive and installed the latest Linux Mint XFCE with Kodi on top. I will say I was having trouble getting OS installed with USB so I plugged in a portable CD/DVD drive and everything went smooth after that. All drivers installed during install except the WI-Fi driver. I ran the driver tool and it found a 3rd party driver (takes a while just let it run). So I downloaded it and wi-fi works good. Security is a question with 3rd party stuff but seems okay so far and I don’t sync it to anything else. I then added a 2tb hard drive with several HD movie files to watch. I am very impressed at the quality of the video and how sharp the picture is without any hiccups. I have not tried the HDMI audio because I have some powered bookshelf speakers plugged in with an 8″ sub and it sounds amazing! When I can afford it I am going to try adding a M2 drive for even more movies. System has a limit of 2tb max per drive. It was a fun project that did not cost a lot and does exactly what I wanted. If you are thinking about doing the same thing, go for it, you will be happy 🙂

Good mini-PC for media center
I bought a Samsung smart TV for the hardware specs, but wanted to avoid the spam which Samsung shoves into their smart TVs these days. The Beelink gives me an independent streaming media center so the TV remains offline, and therefore ad-free. The Beelink has onboard wireless, and also has an Ethernet connection. It’s capable of 3840 X 2160 px resolution at 60 Hz, and there is an audio output (3.5 mm TRRS, aka “headphone-and-mic” jack) if you want to run an independent sound system. The HDMI-to-screen worked seamlessly with my 55″ TV. The Beelink makes a very soft whispering sound, but you really have to get close and listen, it’s that quiet. Four USB ports allow wireless mouse and keyboard operation and leave a couple of ports open for viewing photos on a thumb drive or connecting other devices. Changing boot order in the BIOS allows booting from a thumb drive, meaning that the Linux of your choice can be run in live mode, or installed from the thumb drive. (I could not get hot-key access to the BIOS, and had to use the Windows method — search on “using windows recovery to access bios” for more info.) The SSD drive is only 64 GB, so I would not count on storing many large files on the PC itself. Likewise, the 2.4 gHz Celeron is not the speediest chip around, but this is not meant to be a powerhouse machine. What it doesn’t have: No DVD drive, no micro-SD slot, no micro-USB port, no VGA output. None of this affected my use case at all, so for me the Beelink has been a good buy. YMMV.

Bought it for streaming to TV
I got rid of cable and I use this for streaming video from the internet. So far it has worked flawlessly using an HDMI cable. Saves me over $100 a month in cable bills.

Need something for basic work
Boots extremely quickly, can stream video from online sources and it does not skip/buffer. Mainly needed to copy items as a backup and it sure did that, copied over 1Tb from a network drive in a little over 2hrs to a USB backup drive. Runs quietly and is easily hidden with its small form factor size.

Failed after 2 weeks
It’s a shame, it’s a nice unit, but failed after 2 weeks. SSD controller or motherboard does not recognized the SSD drive. Vendor support sent a new SSD, but of course it didn’t work as the controller or MB is the issue. Vendor suggest creating a bootable USB to reinstall Windows, but again if the SSD is not recognized as a valid drive it won’t work. I really liked the unit and wanted it to work, but it is junk.

Poor Quality
This machine worked good for about 2 months and then died on me. Tried replacing both the M.2 drive and the RAM but no luck, it seems the board is just dead. The machine itself has plenty of power if you are doing non-gaming tasks, and I was using it without issue until it just died. I have heard from others that there are quality problems with Beelink, but I took a risk anyway. Please be warned!

Stops working after a few days. No support, no reply from vendor
The item will just stop after a while. There is no support or help from the vendor. Do not, I repeat, do not buy this item, it will fail (all plastic and terrible parts), and you will just loose your money. Super HOT, no fans, NVME and HARD DISKS, will not get recognized. Even tried changing the NVME for a new one, no deal. The board is terrible.

For a faster computer i reccommend the larger ram and processing and memory
Light weight and compact. Does the same as the normal big computers. However, I did purchase the lower model with less ram, processor and memory. I do reccommend the better versions, but for light duties, this is great and economical.

Just what Mom needed!
Bought for mother in-law who needed a new desktop, hers was pretty old and very slow and unable to update windows anymore. Only issue was getting it to not shutdown while idle overnight. Initially, I was setting the pc to not sleep (stay on) and the screen to sleep (30min) while plugged in. But every morning the pc was off and you would have to press the power button to wake. Ended up setting the screen to also not sleep and then setting the screen saver for blank. It’s in a bedroom, so the monitor needed to be off.

Works great but AC adapter falls out if socket.
Works fine, but the AC adapter does not stay tight in the socket. Even bending the prongs a bit doesn’t make it much better. As long as not moving it around and if leaving plugged in it should be fine. As I am using it for a portable astrophotography rig, I will need to find a way to make sure plug stays secured.

Not high end components, but everything works and performs well enough.
The components in this PC aren’t high end. Some of them actually were first released a few years ago, and weren’t high end then. These days, even hardware that’s not even close to what’s top of the line can do a lot. I don’t recommend this for modern games or things like video editing that take a lot of computing power. I’m using to player older games, around twenty years old or more, and watching video. This little PC had no trouble handling two HD monitors. I was able to play a twenty year old online game I like to revisit once in a while while playing a movie file at 1080p. Not an accomplishment for a modern PC, but that’s all I really need. Why invest in a more powerful PC when this one can do everything I need it to?It boots up reasonably quickly. The SSD is small, but I don’t need much space. I’ll just plug an external drive if I need some more space for a bigger file, like an uncompressed movie. One concern with a PC at this price is the quality of the parts. So far everything has worked reliably. It’s got a bay for a standard sized laptop HDD, so upgrading the amount of storage available is easy.

Powerful PC in an amazingly small case
Don’t let the size fool you. This is a full on Windows 10 PC. It is fast and with its 8 GB of RAM, it can handle multiple programs open at the same time, just like my desktop computer. It is a full size computer in a tiny case.It has 4 USB 3 ports that I use for an external DVD drive (not included), Keyboard and mouse (not included) and a USB HUB (also not included).A 128 GB SSD drive is amazingly fast. It’s not a huge drive, but it holds way more than I need it to, and if I need more space I can simply plug in an external hard drive. The HDMI ports work great on my 4K TV. I get a beautiful picture and sound over the same HDMI cable. I am not using the second HDMI port, but it exists should I ever hook up a second monitor. The PC comes with a din audio port should I ever need to hookup headphones. The computer comes with the screws for a wall mount bracket, however a wall mount bracket did not come with my PC.I am super impressed by the speed and capabilities of this tiny PC. It is just as powerful and capable as any of my other full sized PCs but at a fraction of the desktop space required. I am extremely happy with this mini PC. I give it the full 5 stars.

Review for: Beelink Mini PC GK35 Intel Processor J3455 Windows 10 Pro, 8G DDR3/128G SSD Supporting Auto Power On, WOL, 4K HD,BT4.0, Dual HDMI Ports, 2.4G/5G Dual WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, Mini Desktop ComputerThis is one of the lower end models for Beelink. If you check out their store, they have way better ones. But however, this is a great TINY portable computer.Pros=size. Slap this in your bag and take it to people’s houses and hook it up.=works with other tiny items: combine with other tiny things like a little wireless mouse, keyboard (they have tiny ones), and just drag a HDMI cable along and you’re ready to set up elsewhere when you travel.=Great for travel. I went to Canada for a while and took a Raspberry Pi3, and this is much better than that.=able to expand the space in this one. max: 2TB of 2.5-inch SATA HDD=4 USB 3.0 is pretty=(2) 4K HDMI gives you the ability to run two monitors off it. I run 4 monitors off my main PC but min MINIMUM now is 2 monitors per PC.=Both a direct wired & wireless option built-in. Even some of my computers require a separate $20 plugin for that.Cons=price is still a stretch for some people at $200. You’re nearing the cost of a Chromebook or at that price.

Great compact unit
This is a great, super-compact computer for everyday use. It’s not going to be powerful enough for a serious gamer, of course, but as a smart hub or Plex server it should do just fine. It’s super quiet and easy to set up. I’m really happy with it so far.

Nice little machine, specs are accurate, easy to set up
This Beelink GK35 Mini PC was fantastically simple to set up. It took only a moment to attach the appropriate peripherals and to fire it up to go through the Windows 10 Pro setup, although I did it initially offline.I’ve attached dxdiag screens taken right after setting up the machine; no extra software is installed. Overall, this is a really nice little computer that’s pretty zippy for its size. The stated RAM and drive capacity seem to be accurate.Very pleased with this Beelink GK35 Mini PC.As the parent of kiddos with autism, there are causes near and dear to my heart. great little device!
I work from home full time, and being off line is not an option. I have a beefy laptop, and external devices with backups in the closet, but I needed to make sure that if my laptop goes down that I can still get to my work, which is all in cloud and run on browser based apps.I set this up last week and ran it for several days, to make sure it was going to work, and it’s really awesome! You’ll find it’s not as fast as your desktop device – less ram and usually not as much processor – but as a backup device, this is a great investment that will keep you running on browser based work, and keep your access to cloud and Skype available. If you need to keep your revenue stream safe at a decent price, this is a great option.

Good media box for the price
This mini PC is pretty good, and extendable believe it or not.The PC uses J3455 CPU, which is standard in its class. It has 8G of RAM, but you may upgrade if you like. It uses standard ddr4L memory stick. but only one slot. Well good to have a upgradeable. On the mother board, the ssd is m.2 ssd, it will accept more storage if you choose so. There is another option of adding a standard sata disk either hdd or ssd to the machine to have even more storage.Windows 10 is just windows 10. normal stuff.2hdmi, 1rj45, 4usb3(2 front 2 back) 3.5mm plug in the front.Nothing to complain for a box like this.

Second Beelink, just as satisfied
This is my second mini from Beelink, and I’m honestly just so impressed! Got this one to put in my cabin and hook up to the tv. Obviously using this mostly to stream media and make the tv smarter haha, but it works every time and is capable of so much more. Right now it is connected via ethernet as there is not Wi-Fi in the cabin yet, and there have been no problems with that. There are plenty of inputs for my use, but I can imagine there might not be enough for those wanting lots of displays.Really a perfect choice for a smaller space, or a multifunctioning machine. It’s easier to move and setup, so makes redecorating a breeze. Another bonus is that it is really quiet! I want to try hooking it up to my mini projector to watch movies as well, and if it stays as quiet as it’s been so far it will be a perfect solution to the fan noise that is doubled when using a projector and a laptop. Would choose Beelink over and over again!

Works great as a NAS and print server
I ordered the Beelink Mini PC GK35 Intel Processor J3455 to be used as a NAS (Network Added Storage) device and with print server features. It’s not the fastest mini-PC you can get, but it is priced accordingly. With a Celeron processor I did not expect much.I am testing this mini-PC with TrueNAS Core (you’ll need to add 8GB more RAM) and OpenMediaVault. So far OpenMediaVault works best and is easily modified. You’ll also want to add an internal drive (you could use a USB external, but this is a bit slow), I opted for a Seagate 5TB that works well.Overall for the $$ this is an excellent system that offers many features and benefits at an amazing price – allowing several use options.

A very usable mini PC
Beelink Mini PC GK35 Intel Processor J3455 Windows 10 Pro, 8G DDR3/128G SSD Supporting Auto Power On, WOL, 4K HD,BT4.0, Dual HDMI Ports, 2.4G/5G Dual WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, Mini Desktop ComputerFor basic browsing needs and light duty tasks this mini PC has all the right specs to perform admirably. I also use it for streaming games and retro gaming with Batocera. Has enough juice for that. Getting inside this is a piece of cake as well, makes for an easy SSD upgrade.

Everyday Mini Pc
This mini PC Beelink has it has 8 GB and 128 GB SSD with Celeron process. This mini PC is small enough but still has power for everyday use. This mini PC would not be strong enough for gamers, as seen in the picture below, where it ranks according to performance tests. It is low in numerous categories listed. This product has two HDMI ports so that it will support dual monitors. The operating system is windows 10 pro, and I am not sure if this supports windows 11. The mini PC has SSD Drive, which booth up without any problems, and also you can add a 2.5 inch SATA Drive for extra storage space. The mini PC doesn’t support a USB C connection. It has 4 USB 3.0 ports. I was surprised to see that this has build-in wifi that supports 2.4 G and 5 G. This mini PC also has a gigabit ethernet port and build in blue tooth. This mini PC doesn’t have internal speakers, so you need to provide your own. They do have a mic port available on the device itself. Keep in mind I never heard of this Beelink product until I came across them on the Amazon website. I am not sure what type of warranty this product offers at this time.I am satisfied, at this point, with my mini PC by Beelink. I have this setup, and my son is using this for homeschooling, and so far, he has no issues.

Great Little everyday PC or Home Theater PC – 2350 Passmarks and QuadCore + SSD = Fast
What a great deal on a Tiny PC!Build Quality:This little PC is made of a nice matte finish plastic and has an attractive case with good ventilation. There are no flaws in the manufacturing or assembly and it appears to be a rather solid PC.Specs:This PC comes with8G RAM, plenty for most tasks and about standard for mid range PCs and laptopsa 128GB SSD that does approximately 500MB/s matching the 2.5″ Samsung SSDFAST wifi with a/b/n/ac!Windows 10 Pro*It comes with 2 full size HDMI portsYou can add an 2.5 drive for additional storage. The power supply very standard 12V , 2A.The CPU is a rather zippy quad-core J3455 Celeron that has a Passmark* of 2450Performance:I generally consider a PC “fast enough” if it has a SSD, at least two cores, and around a 2500 pass mark. In fact one of my “daily drivers” is a laptop that has a Intel Core 4th Gen i5-4300U 1.9GHz CPU clocks in at 2497 passmarks*. With these specs you really won’t notice any delay in processing if you are doing everyday activities**. This PC falls in that category and in fact runs very well, quietly, and on very little power.(* Passmarks are just a benchmark for a CPU – The higher the number the faster the CPU)(** Everyday activities are Browsing web, watching videos and editing documents — not 3D gaming, graphic or mathematically intensive applications.)What I did Like:*This PC really is all you need for a basic PC in a very compact clean package that looks great on a desk*It is a fantastic way to add a discrete PC to your living room by using your TV as a monitor. Many times I find it much easier to watch things on my TV using this PC as apposed to trying to figure out how to “Cast” something to a TV.What I didn’t like:Currently Windows 11 is not “approved” for the J3455 processor but they may offer support in the futureFinal thoughts. While this is a great little PC I find it to be a PERFECT Home Theater PC (HTPC) and highly recommend it for that purpose. Pair it with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for a great wireless setup. It also works great if you are trying to set up a very clean “guest computer” without much clutter.

A decent mini-PC for light tasks
This is the second Beelink mini-PC I got, and the reason was that the first one GK-55 proved to be a great unit for the user in our family. They had no need for a powerful system as long as it supported two big monitors at full HD, surfing, full office suite functionality. On the GK-55 I update to Win-11 and it works perfectly. This Beelink GK-35 has a less powerful processor, it is slower in most tasks, but still functional. As you can see, I switched from my huge desktop because at this point, I rather wait for the pandemic effects to subside and get a good price on newer motherboard and processor. The one I have in the big unit, which is almost ten time more volume that the min-PC, is with a very old i5.The Beelink doesn’t get hot, has very low level of noise, performs at my computing needs without an issue. Most are in the cloud, but I still might add a 2.5” SSD to store the big items. Pictures show how easy it is to add the storage. As for value for money/price – I think it is a good break point given the craziness in the market.BTW, this unit cannot be upgraded to Win 11, unlike the GK-55.

Decent PC For Very Basic Tasks
This is a budget-friendly small form factor which will serve well for basic tasks like homework, word processing, streaming, and most web browsing. As expected of a Celeron processor with 8GB of RAM, this PC is not going to be especially fast, particularly when multi-tasking.This computer is about the size of four pieces of white bread stacked on top of each other. For a computer of that size, I would expect the fans to spin very fast and be very obnoxious, but during my time sitting directly next to it, I never once noticed the fans. I had a gaming headset on, but even when I took the headset off I never heard the computer. To physical touch, the computer was never cold, but it was never hot either. This computer lacks graphics. If you plan to be accessing this computer a lot and you need to use the desktop, internet browser, file explorer, etc. this computer might not be the best option. The mouse always feels just a little bit laggy because this computer does not have dedicated graphics and the on board graphics processor is lacking. Using the mouse is not a pleasant experience at all.Overall I am happy with this computer, but I do not plan to be using a mouse and looking at the screen very often. I plan to set the computer up as a server, disconnect the monitor, and only ever plug a monitor in when there is an issue that must be resolved.

A great basic low powered mini PC
I was pleasantly surprised at how well things worked with this little mini PC. I was able to watch Youtube videos without any stutter. This is my main purpose for this computer. Just streaming movies and in 1080p it works great. However, even though it says it supports 4k, the performance isn’t really quite up to snuff and I experienced some stutters trying to play 4k video. However I really don’t think that should be a negative considering the price. At this price point all I was expected was good 1080p playback and it did that very well.It doesn’t have a very large hard drive but you can always just add an SSD yourself without too much trouble. Opening the case was actually quite easy and I had a new drive installed in less that 20 minutes.Just don’t expect to do video editing or major Photoshop with a mini PC like this and for the price you really should expect to. What this mini PC is perfect for is just basic web browsing and video streaming and this little guy performs those things quite well.

Great for basic tasks
I love these minis because they are perfect for sticking onto a monitor’s vesa mount for an instant semi all in one PC. I also like them because they work great in arcade cabinets. This unit is pretty nice, though not quite the needed power for an arcade cab, still good for smaller spaces and os a terminal machine.

Nice little mini for emulation
This is the second Beelink Mini that I’ve tried. I’m using a GK 55 in my household every day and its been great. This mini is essentially identical except that it has a slower processor and the top is not glossy. While I’m not a fan of the Celeron J3455, this computer is not painfully slow and is usable. It actually feels quite smooth. Amazingly it does not get super hot which is a real problem with a few mini pcs that I’ve owned. At this point my impression of Beelink is that it makes excellent mini pcs.It is easy to take the bottom off of this pc and there is a bay that easily fits a 2.5 inch drive, solid state or SSD. I put a drive in there that is loaded with Batocera linux. Doing that turns this little mini into quite a nice emulation machine. It does much better than my Raspberry Pi 4 and can run Its nice to be able to run a good sized emulator with an internal hdd. It can run titles a generation or two newer than the Pi. I’ve seen a few setups that require an external drive, and that’s kind of a nuisance. I’m seeing vendors on Ali Express selling mini PCs with Batocera for $500. That’s nuts. Batocera is free to download and pretty easy to set up If you consider the price of a Raspberry Pi and the accessories you need to make it work, this little mini is a great alternative – much more powerful for just slightly more money. (A Pi is great on its own, but if emulation is your goal its not the ultimate). It would be nice if I had a bigger SSD in this mini, but I’m not really using that so it isn’t much of an issue. I’d also like to see a USB C port on a computer of this size.

Should have bought this a long time ago.
I’ve been using an I5 560M laptop with a spindle hard drive and 4GB of RAM running Windows 10 Pro as my media PC. I know the hard drive is a huge part of the poor performance running Windows 10. I found that this processor is still faster than the Beelink according to various benchmark results, but this system performs way better than my 560M.Before unpacking, I noticed the packaging was well put together. Usually, the better it’s packaged, the better the product is. There’s a yellow tag that discusses turning off WIFI and ensuring the LAN is not connected. As an I.T. professional, this is the preferred way to setup Windows 10 for a personal account.Setup went as expected. Windows updates took some time, but that’s to be expected since the operating system version is 3 months ago. The system time was off by 4 hours. That was a quick fix in Windows time settings and it reminded me to check the BIOS time. BIOS time was 4 hours behind, but was a simple adjustment.Having 2 HDMI outputs, makes this a perfect lightweight office system for dual display computing like working with spreadsheets and multiple web-pages. It also takes up very little space and is power efficient.1080P video performance is as expected using apps from the Microsoft store. Audio output supports Dolby surround like 5.1 Dolby Digital. Video playback using web browsers has performance as expected.I also use this to cast audio to speaker groups throughout the home. Most of the audio is coming from network storage of my music collection and some is coming from various music streaming services. I noticed it feels lighter on it’s feet than my 560M. Overall, it’s a great product.

For price of Windows 10 Pro, get a computer
This mini computer is great. It comes with 8GB of memory. Mine has 128GB for the OS. I use this to show movies from my NAS to the living room TV. It works well with everything, including files from Blu-ray.

Issues Login on every time.
I do not recommend this product at all, you spend more time trying to log on. Machine always telling you that you entered the wrong password, when the password is correct, very frustrating. I will return it.

Great little Mini PC with just one annoyance!
I’ve always wanted to play with a Mini PC. They are so versatile, I didn’t know what I would end up using it for. Some people create little emulation PC’s for their TV, others turn them into media centers, and some make them mini servers; the possibilities are really endless. I had to check out the Beelink Mini PC GK35 and put it through its paces. The Beelink Mini PC GK35 comes in a retail box with the PC, mini manual (4 pages per language), power cord, HDMI cable (nice touch!) and a few screws for adding a 2.5″ SATA drive. Everything comes nicely compartmentalized and wrapped. It has the Intel Celeron J3455 CPU, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD, with 4 USB3 ports, headphone port, 2 HDMI ports and a GB Ethernet port. Internally, it has Wifi and Bluetooth. The Beelink Mini PC GK35 comes with Windows 10 Pro installed on the 128GB SATA SSD.Booting the Beelink Mini PC GK35 and you’ll find that everything works as expected. I was able to connect to the Internet without issues, it’s faster than older Intel Atom based systems and the 8GB of RAM had allowed multiple apps and browser tabs to open without issue. I then wiped it and started installing Ubuntu, which had no issues installing and finding all of the hardware.Opening the Beelink Mini PC GK35 is as simple as removing 4 screws in the feet at the base of the unit. Opening the unit shows a SATA plug for most 2.5″ SATA SSD drives. The RAM is a single 8GB SoDIMM, so it is possible to replace the RAM with a 16GB SoDIMM. As for the M.2 SATA SSD in the unit, it is not replaceable. While the drive is in a M.2 socket, the heatsink, drive and socket are all glued together (picture attached), so removing will rip the socket from the motherboard. There is a label on the RAM explaining the specs, which is a nice touch.All-in-all, the Beelink Mini PC GK35 is a great little Mini PC with quite a number of applications. But, I’m a bit disappointed that the M.2 drive is not user replaceable. It is nice that SATA SSDs can help expand the unit, but that means you need to deal with dual drives. Although, it is still a great option for people looking for a Mini PC.

SSD Failed, Lost data due to drive failure
Should have just bought the Intel NUC or something. Lost critical work documents because of this thing. I’m going to go ensure the other x2 units I have are backed up and I’ll replace them over time. The broken unit hopefully I can swap a new drive in. Worked for like 18mo. Overall wish I would’ve started with a better unit despite this one working pretty good for awhile.

Decent device for limited uses, works well for basic task like web browsing and office work
Beelink is the closest thing there is to a name brand when it comes to mini PCs like this one, they make everything from relatively low end models like this one, all the way up to more powerful ones that use newer Ryzen and Intel Core i5/i7 chips. This is probably the fifth product from them that I own and have reviewed. I got the slightly more powerful version with the Celeron J3455 paired with 8GB of Ram and 128GB of storage and it retails for about $200 with the coupon. I wouldn’t recommend the lower option because I don’t believe 4GB is viable for even the most basic tasks.I decided to use this computer solely as a media consumption device for streaming video from online services like Netflix, Hulu, and others. One of the biggest reasons is because of the in-fighting that occurs between the big tech companies that causes things like the YouTube TV app not to be available on Roku devices. The same thing happened a few years ago with Fire TV devices. My point is that when you buy a dedicated streaming hardware, you might suffer from not being able to access a service that you pay for, once a dispute arises between the two companies. Using the web allows you to pretty much be able to access any and all online video platforms, no matter how obscure they are. This mini PC could be used for other things too, just don’t expect anything that requires a lot of CPU/GPU power. Office applications, web browsing, basic 2D games, video playback, etc should be fine. Photo and video editing, modern 3D games, streaming 4k video on dual monitors are examples of what I would not recommend. Within the parameters of what this hardware should be used for, it will do a reliable job. Just make sure you understand the limitations and it will serve you well.
