Good for the PriceDisclaimer: I returned this.If you are looking to use this for parties then you are in good hands. Loud sound and very portable. I mean its heavy but thats expected. This is probably the best on its price point. The sound quality is not very good. If you are playing music then it might not be a problem but get a better PA system for live performances. The biggest issue I had for which I returned is this doesnt have Unbalanced TRS input and no TRS/XLR combo input.Plus:- Budget Friendly- Portable- LoudMinus- Sound Quality- No Unbalanced TRS input- No TRS/XLR Combo

Overall great, but handle makes me nervousMy wife and I host bar trivia at a couple of breweries in town, and after using a beheamoth powered monitor speaker, we decided to switch to a more portabel PA that would still meet our audio needs. We ordered this system and the first night we used it, the speaker was VERY hard to get free from the handle. Had to wiggle it and push REAL hard on the button to get it to release. Second time we tried, the handle popped loose and seemed like it wasn’t strong enough to hold it’s own weight. We returned that one, hoping it was just a defect.Second unit we received seems much better, and speaker/handle assembly seems to function as designed. Sound quality and volume is perfect for our needs, and the integrated bluetooth is super helpful.Instructions could be a little more robust, but generally meet the basics. Cable storage in the main unit is really helpful, and helps keep everything we need in one spot. For our needs (trivia with audio rounds) this is perfect, though the handle still seems a little weak for the weight of the unit.

A bit noisy, with flimsy controls, but it gets the job done at a great priceI bought this to use as stage monitors for a tight setup for the pit band in a community theater musical production. We ran the XLR output from a keyboard amp and a bass amp through this, so the drummer, who was set a bit apart from the rest of us, could hear what was going on.We had some initial setup issues that mostly seem to have been user error, but once we got it dialed in, it did the job really well. There was a fair bit of hiss, and the knobs and sliders are REALLY cheap and flimsy. But it works and is super compact and portable, and the outer casing seems pretty durable. Just treat it gently when in use and it should do the job for you.

Great valueThe system is cleverly designed and highly portable. I was impressed with this aspect when I first opened the box. The handle on top makes for an easy one-hand carry. The back side of the control unit has storage for power cords, mic cables, and other accessories. This is a well thought out and handy feature allowing you to carry your whole PA system in one hand without needing a case. The system itself essentially becomes a carrying case. The first time opening the system was a little tricky since the speakers clip tightly to the central amp/control unit. I figured out that pushing the release buttons and giving a quick snatch rather than a steady pull worked well to separate the pieces.I have been presenting in various conferences, seminars, and churches for about 12 years and have been exposed to a variety of PA systems over that time. I ordered this to have a backup option if there was no permanent setup available at the speaking location. After trying it, I think it will fit the bill just perfectly. I used it with my Shure mic and had great results. The system doesn’t come with a mic but since it has Bluetooth connectivity, you can actually download a mic application onto your smartphone and use it as a mic in a pinch. Since there’s a delay when using an app/Bluetooth based mic, it’s much better to have a dedicated mic. It has a 48V phantom power jack so you can even use condenser mics. The Bluetooth connection to my Galaxy S8 was quick and easy. I tested the system with music from my smartphone and was impressed with the volume. It can get much too loud for comfort; I ended up taking it outside to finish testing it. The sound quality ranks very high. A 5 band equalizer gives acoustic flexibility. The system also has preset electronic equalizer options. It has an adjustable subwoofer peak frequency setting that can be set at 63, 80, or 120 Hz. However, it seems that the 8” woofers are tuned slightly more for voice level volume output rather than earthshaking rumbles even at the 63 Hz setting. I brought it back in the house and we are keeping it setup as a Bluetooth home music speaker system. It’s a higher quality than I expected and, given this unit’s price point, it’s also an excellent value.Pros:Loud and clear (at high volumes as well)48 Volt phantom power for condenser micsBuilt in Cord storageAdjustable subwoofer peak 63, 80, or 120 HzEasy one hand carryBT connectivity very simple5 band EQ + electronic EQPlays from USB, has audio controls on unitCons:Clips together too tightly

Great value for your moneyIts portable, great sound, pretty loud for the size. Takes a bit to figure out your settings but once you get the mix right you’re good to go. Probably won’t be loud enough to play somewhere if you have a drummer on an actual set, but of youre using digital drums or an electric kit its good to go.Example, my band played a music in the park show with bass, electric drums, guitar and vocals, and we were able to play out fairly loud for the audience who were up to 500 feet or so away.

Mic mixer neededFor an affordable, portable sound unit it is perfect. I dj on occasion and it’s exactly what I need for my music setup. The only downfall are the mic inputs aren’t very clear. The adjustments do little to fine tune the mic sound. I’d recommend adding an extra mic mixer. I bought the universal stands/poles from Pyle to add to the setup and they work great. Unfortunately though the handle that holds everything together once you attach the speakers to the mixer broke off the first day I owned it. The only way to carry the unit now is with the two grooves atop each speaker. I couldn’t throw the handle away because you need it to hold the speakers in place while traveling but there could definitely be a more sturdy upgrade made. Also, one of the speaker cables that came with it didn’t work at all and the 2nd one was working at first but is now shorting after about 3 gigs. Aside from having to upgrade a few things though it’s a very decent system for the money.

Simple, Great Sound Quality, Perfect for rooms of 50-100 People. After doing some price / feature comparisons, I choose to go with this sound system for our Kid’s Church space that seats about 50 people. Our space isn’t gigantic, so I wanted something small, portable, but still sounded high quality and filled the room when we did video led worship. Once I received the sound system, setup was super simple. Anyone who has ever been around a sound system will find this one straight forward and easy to use. The bluetooth connected right away and super easily with my phone and I was able to play songs straight from my phone through the system and it sounded incredible. This unit has four DLR microphone inputs and two quarter-inch line inputs. There is also a place to connect RCA inputs, which I use to connect to my laptop for music. Sound quality is great all around. I didn’t even have to push the volume that high to fill the space with a very full sound with great lows and highs. The unit came with a power cord and two speaker cables, which one cable was a tiny bit glitchy sending sound to one of the speakers, so I traded that out for a higher quality speaker cable, and haven’t had any trouble. I recommend augmenting this system with better speaker cables for sure.Otherwise, so easy to use, and simple to set up. Can’t recommend this highly enough — especially if you’re looking to fill a smaller space with sound and not break the bank doing it!

Plenty of powerThis has a lot of power for the money. I like it a lot, I use it for karaoke. The only problem is it uses horn tweeters. I’ve never met a horn tweeter that I like, they always have resonances that make me cringe, especially with singers. I think they would have been better off to use a good quality 3.5 inch speaker for the highs. It also had to much high base which is typical for a system with 8 inch speakers.Fortunately I have a digital mixer so I was able to come up with five filters to fix it. Now it actually sounds pretty good, even the singers. I also use a sub woofer with it.For me it was a very good value for the money. I got this speaker system, a sub woofer, and a small monitor speaker so the singers can hear the music and themselves, for just over $400.
