Works fine! Typo on product. LolProduct was delivered undamaged.Product worked as expected right out of the box.Product seems to have a typo printed on the faceplate. (CHAGE should read CHARGE) I didn’t notice until a few months after I put it in service. Thought it was kind of funny.

Doesn’t fit a 1U slot in a 19″ rack.Notwithstanding any other good or bad things about this unit, I must point out that the holes in its19″ rack mounting ears are machined on 1.1″ centers, not 1.25″ centers as 1U equipment is supposed to feature. I was forced to mount it with two full-size screws, and two small screws, which looks (and is) pretty janky. Luckily it’s for my own use and I’m not trying to impress anyone.Surprising to see this on a device whose claim to fame is rack-mountability. Did no one ever try it?This thing also has rubber feet on the bottom, so it’s probably fine if your intent is to put it on the floor or on top of something else.

Great designI love that so many thing can be connected to this unit. Far outshines the other manufacturers when it comes to how many things this unit can provide power for.

Pop-spark-smoke within minutes of turning on…I was very excited to purchase this for my IT closet that houses my router and networking peripherals (e.g. NAS, Smarthub, VOIP, etc…) With so many devices having bulky DC plug-in bricks, use of a typical surge protector would result in covering every other outlet and this pig-tail power distribution design is the perfect solution. Unfortunately, I was unable to effectively use the unit, as within a few minutes of turning on there was a pop and spark from within the left side of the unit and a little puff of smoke. Clearly I wouldn’t now trust this with my devices, so I have ordered a replacement. I’ve decided to give this one more shot because it really is an excellent solution….but reading through the other reviews demonstrating poor quality control will have me thoroughly testing the unit for function and proper outlet grounding before installation.9/8/22 update: So I received the new one yesterday, and just turned it on – so far, it seems to be working and the USB ports work as well (forgot to mention they were nonfunctional on the previous unit). So, I’ll give it another couple of stars for now, and check back in a bit.

2nd unit purchased. This is not a voltage conditioner and should not be confused for one. It is simply a very handy plug multiplier to be put in a rack.
