Exceeded my expectationsAfter reading reviews on the Oontz Angle Solo and several other competing speakers, based on reviews, I settled on the Oontz (BTW, I bought it on Amazon at a super sale price). I was looking to replace an early-model Bluetooth mini speaker from another manufacturer that I used for travel. That speaker was unreliable in its Bluetooth connection, the controls were wacky, the soft-touch finish had become sticky and, most importantly, it just didn’t sound good. After having traveled with the Oontz Angle Solo for 11 days, I’m ready to add my review to the others. For a speaker I intended to use for travel, this one ticked all my boxes:1) The small size is perfect;2) The case is rigid and sturdy enough that I’m not concerned it will get crushed or broken—very solid construction;3) Bluetooth connection with my phone is consistent and reliable—turn it on and it connects right away and stays connected across the room;4) The controls are straightforward and easy to understand; and5) The sound is clear with good overall tone, reasonable bass for a speaker this size and it can play pretty loud. [I worked in the home audio industry for many years and I think I can most assuredly attest that this is a good and good-sounding product considering its price and size. I have other speakers for serious listening].Plus it can be paired with another Oontz speaker for left-right stereo or dual speaker sound. I have not yet tried the speakerphone feature.For what I paid, it would be hard to beat the Angle Solo. I like it so much that when I saw the Oontz Angle 3 reduced on Amazon, I bought one. I intend to use it as the left speaker (control speaker) with the Angle Solo as the right at my desk. I’m thinking the extra bass from the larger Angle 3 will enhance the stereo sound. I’ll report on this in a review of the Angle 3.

Great quality speaker for a bargain price!In one sentence: This speaker is a bargain for how well it works and you won’t regret buying it.Longer review: I’m a very light sleeper and need a quiet environment and white noise to fall asleep. Needless to say this isn’t always available in some situations, so I got this speaker to play white noise when I travel, in hopes that the sound would be robust enough to drown out other hotel noises. And it works great! I brought it to a resort that had nightly music (including bass, which always keeps me up) and the speaker connected easily to my phone and was loud enough that I could fall asleep easily with my white noise despite the music outside. Since then I’ve used it in other scenarios to play music or podcasts when I’m around the house or in the yard and it’s worked great every time. I was skeptical that it could be good quality given the price, but I had good experiences with the brand before so I decided to give it a shot and I’m really glad I did! You would think it was a much more expensive speaker.

Blown away at the sound for such a small affordable speakerBlown away at the sound for such a small affordable speaker. So I originally bought one for my mom & dad for Christmas, I noticed my mom using her phone in the kitchen for music/news while cooking. I knew right away I wanted to buy her a small BT speaker to improve quality and volume of music. Well when it arrived and I set it I was pretty surprised and amazed at the volume and clear audio the OontZ Angle Solo unleashed. I quickly ordered myself one as well (during Christmas there was a coupon for 20% off so I bought them up for $16 each) & I have been putting it through it’s paces for a few weeks and I’m very happy with it. It’s small foot print is perfect for small apartment and it’s pretty loud without disturbing my neighbors. It’s very easy to move it around my apartment and find a small space to put it and listen to music/movie from my tablet while I do chores or cook. The Oontz solo has replaced my jbl charge 3 for indoor use due to size and being plenty loud for indoor use. I have not used it (Solo) outdoors to see how good or bad it might be, that’s what my jbl charge 3’s I have are for (camp site sounds) & jbl clip 4 for bank fishing.

Great Little SpeakerI purchased the oontz solo approximately 3 weeks ago. I put it on my bedside table after pairing it with my echo show 5. Since my echo show 5 was across the room and close to the door, I wanted a speaker that would be close to me and would not disturb any other household members late at night.It pairs easily and works perfectly. I listen to podcasts, audio books and my music playlist. I often fall asleep listening to my favorite sleep music. During the day, I carry it with me and turn the volume up. The sound is great for such a small speaker. I haven’t tested how long it holds a charge, but it seems to be a long time.I bought the white one which is very attractive and blends with my white bedroom furniture. Since the speaker is quite small and portable, I will also use it as a speaker when I travel.

Reliable speaker🔊My office needed a new speaker because our current one died but we use it everyday as background music. The price was super cheap, got next day shipping, and even though it looks small the sound and base carries a long way. The speaker came with a 2 year warranty, which i signed up for, and it took seconds to do. The company also reached out to me after a week or so to make sure everything was fine and we all love it. I also occasionally use it when I’m practicing choreography and I literally have no complaints about it. I got more than what I paid for🤌🏻✨-speaker comes with a safety string and usb charging cable-I don’t have a picture but it’s a little bugger than a switch controller but smaller than a can of coke can.

Bought two for dual pairing – works perfectly!I decided to purchase speakers for my small apartment after growing tired of carrying my phone around all morning while listening to stuff. I looked at a few small, but pricey options before I found these. I went with them for a few reasons:1) – An old employer gave me an oontz several years ago and raved about how great they are in the shower. It eventually got lost in a move and I didn’t use it much, but her rave review continued to sell me on the brand.2) – they’re small.3) – they’re affordable enough that I can buy two and not cringe! Which is necessary bc…4) – they connect to each other super easily (if you follow the instructions)Sometimes if I press the wrong buttons or if i pair one of them with something else, the dual mode disconnects and I have to get the instructions out (every single time) to get it back into dual mode. But it takes 5 seconds after that. I really should memorize how to do it bc it’s so easy, but it happens infrequently enough that I connect them again and immediately forget it.Also the battery life is pretty good in my experience. I can’t say for sure how many hours a week, but I use them a lot and don’t find myself charging them often.Hope this helps. I don’t often leave reviews but when I was buying these I saw a few posts and Q&A saying they didn’t pair if you bought two, so I wanted to clarify for anyone in my shoes, they definitely do and they’re so worth it!!

Great little speakerI got this mainly for work and to listen to podcasts. Seems a little too bass-heavy for talk/podcasts, but I am sure an EQ on your audio app would fix that. Pocket Casts on my iPhone 12 doesn’t seem to have an EQ.The build quality seems great. Bluetooth connection is easy to achieve and stays connected.A trick to make it easier to use is to take a black Sharpie permanent marker and trace over the control buttons with it, as it will make the controls easier to find. As it is, they are the same color as the unit, thus hard to see. The controls are raised a little, so your Sharpie should easily stay on the control buttons if you’re careful while doing it. A good Bluetooth speaker for the money.This review is for “Cambridge Soundworks OontZ Angle Solo Bluetooth Portable Speaker.” I purchased this unit because I needed something to monitor audio from my phone while outside. I’m very impressed with the speaker. It is well built and the sound is quite good considering its small size. It can fit in your pocket with no problem. Battery life is good. Bluetooth connectivity is good. Although I haven’t tested for extended distance, it certainly works well in every room of my small house. I got the blue colored model because it’s easier to see outdoors than black. The price was quite reasonable, especially in light of the good quality. I think I may give them as gifts to my tech friends. Everybody could use a nice, small speaker like this.

Loud Speaker at a great price!TL;DR:Sound 5Clarity 5Battery Life 4User friendly buttons 5Overall 4.5/5I bought mine for work. I work in a factory downtown that’s very loud, so I wanted to get a speaker that I could hear over all that noise. It’s great! For my iPhone 11, the volume on my phone and on the speaker work independently, so it gives me a very broad range of volume options. While the battery doesn’t last more than about 6 hours when at complete max volume (which the manual will tell you that it won’t last as long at max) it’s overall volume and clarity is perfect for me to listen to music at work, or even listen to a podcast!

Love OontzOontzOontzThis is my second speaker. I also have the Shower Oontz. Both work in the shower. Long battery life & incredible sound!! Keep the plug closed and steam from the shower doesn’t affect it. Be careful with setting it on a table blasting tunes, the bass hits hard and it may vibrate off the counter onto the floor. That being said, not only do they have impressive customer support, they have a long lasting warranty that I haven’t had to use because these speakers are built tough!!Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to bring to the beach or park using Bluetooth
