They Stand Behind There ProductAlthough it came apart when it was pulled too hard, Monoprice stood behind their Life Time guarantee!Mark was excellent in the process to replace the damaged XLR cable. I have had problems with Amazon sellers not fulfilling their written guarantees, with endless dead links and not responding to messages. And then the time it takes to get Amazon support involved to fix the problem makes you want to give up. It was great to find a vendor that lives up to their guarantee, with no hassles to replace the cable.

Strong cable, strong sound!I use this cable to plug my Shure SM7B into a GoXLR and before using this cable, I noticed that most cabled I used would start to give a loud hissing feedback sound. Please note that I would not dismantle or play with the cable, so every previous cable just gave out on its own.I’ve been using this cable for a little while and so far I have ZERO interruption and feedback, and delivers a great sound.

Worth more than their cost.Nice thick solidly built cable with nice connectors. I bought it for the price and for the look of the cable but once I got it I know i made the right choice.

Some misalignment of the male pins in one of the two cables I purchased.I have typically use GLS XLR cables in the past but I just added an SVS PB4000 subwoofer to my system and thought I’d try these from Monoprice since their amps are an outstanding value for the money and I wanted to make sure really get my money’s worth from the PB4000. When I took the cables out of the package my initial reaction was great. They appeared to be very well made and the quality of the materials appeared superior to the GLS cables I’ve been using. However, when I went to plug in the male pin end, it wouldn’t fit, which seemed very usual, as they usually slide in with minimal resistance. I thought maybe I just needed to take a closer look, that my visual alignment was off. It wasn’t. When I looked into the end of the cable the pins were obviously misaligned with the outer ring. I was able to bend them into position when the cable seems to work fine, but I’d have to say that was disappointing to see and not what I expected at all from a brand with great reputation that I’ve had great experience with the past. The other cable was fine. I may have just received a one in a million quality control miss, but none the less, it happened. Again, the cable ended performing well after I bent the pins back into alignment and I’d still rate them a great value and they are built of good quality materials. The lack of quality control just threw me a bit.

Broken when removing from a microphoneI was using this with an SM57 and the sound was great after numerous sessionsI went to remove the cable from the microphone and part of the connector broke off and remained inside the microphoneSo there’s a cable that needs replacing

The cable is heavyFirst, let me say the connectors on this are really nice. Heavy, and metal. I can’t imagine you could wear them out. The cable itself is kind of heavy and stiff. In my mind that means it’s going to take a pounding and keep going, but it doesn’t flex as well. Still, I’m happy with the purchase and it has been going and going for 2 shows a week for months without any issue.
