10 reviews for Logitech Rally Camera

Good camera but expensiveGreat quality but the focus takes a while to adjust after zooming in/out. It is a bit pricey for what it does

Very nice camI did a little research on PTZ cams and discovered that the absolute best cost over $10k so I opted not to spend that much. My first PTZ cam was the Logitech PTZ Pro 2 which had horrible problems with its’ S video connector and cable. I decided to pony up the funds to pay for the Rally cam. This is probably the best bang for the buck for PTZ cams, affordable, good quality, and it works well, out of the box. The video connector is USB-C, rather than S-video and is far more reliable. I was impressed by the size difference of the two as well, the Rally cam being much bigger diameter for better low light situations. I know these cams are used professionally daily, so they can’t be all that bad.

Great camera for the $$$Just opened the box today and plugged it in for a 1 pm zoom call. It was just what we needed. It was simple to get working and I have very little experience in IT. I plugged it in to my laptop and added a new Microphone and our Non Profit is now finally zoom ready instead of using the camera and mic off the laptop.. Could not be any happier with our purchase. Logitech Rally 4K camera did not disappoint

  4. LC200

Easy to setup, great image, focus and 2 pre-set positionsGreat camera for Huddle rooms for 4-8 people. Auto focus is a tad slow, so if you are moving around a lot this is probably not fo you. Other than that it’s amazing.

75% failure rate. We’ve had over 75% of the maybe 10 or so RallyCams we’ve purchased fail on us. They refuse to boot up or respond. I’ve never seen such a crazy failure rate. We have them in multiple states in multiple rooms and it doesn’t matter. Eventually they refuse to power on anymore. Getting them RMA’d from Logitech is a test of ones patience. I highly advise avoiding this camera.

Colleague split it on the floor for usBefore we got to run tests and permanently mount this exciting new delivery in our event space, a co-worker decided to move some equipment around because it was in the way. So here’s everything I was able to learn about the camera before it was generously cracked wide open for us:-it’s a camera!-it’s much bigger than the Logitech PTZs that we have many of.-the remote came with a battery that worked!-there’s some nice cabling on the interior.-the camera responds very well to gravity! There you have it; the first Logitech Rally PTZ camera review. Glad to answer any questions.

No focusNo focus. Looks like in fog all the time. Bad camera. Disappointed.

A Zoom and Zoom Room Dream Come TrueWe use this in a lab environment in combination with our Zoom Room. It’s a perfect combination for the following reasons:- Native Zoom Room support (literally, just plug it in and it works)- Zoom Rooms sees it as a proper PTZ camera with full control and 3 presets- I found the image quality very good. Are there better? Sure, but it’s also only $1300ish (compared to $2K+ for other brands)- It’s clear Logitech has big plans for this camera, and the updates so far have been well received. For my use case, this is a five-star camera… and we’ll probably deploy dozens of them over the coming year.

Failure rate is a real thingI have installed 3 of these Logitech Rally cams in various zoom rooms, and two are now paperweights. No explanation, no power outages or surges to justify… Just one day they quit powering up. The second client called me last week, after working for about 2 1/2 years the camera quit powering up. Purchased a new power supply, but still nothing. I started looking around to see if maybe quality control had improved since the pandemic, but it appears this is a common problem… For a $1400 camera?! There’s really no excuse, and I will never buy one of these again.

crappy camera for this price rangefor $1400 I would expect this camera to have a superb quality as well as focus. The image video is clear when the len is focused. However as the presenter moves around, this camera had such a hard time auto focusing. Good thing my work allowed me to buy the 30x PTZOptic camera and replaced this Logitech Rally piece of crap! I hesitate to throw the logitech in the trash but decided to keep it as a backup camera.
