Description
See the human body come to life in augmented reality. Download the free app, FarSight XR, from the App Store or Google Play Store, launch the app and point your device’s camera at the poster to view the 3D, interactive human anatomy systems. Show and hide the various systems with the tap of a virtual button. Tap any element (muscle, bone, organ, etc.) and detailed info will be shown on the display in augmented reality. Then simply tap the info button to view that information full-screen on your device.

Fantastic concept, but falls shortI purchased the poster for an alternative perspective; specifically of the muscular & skeletal systems. However, when in action, the left leg bends unnaturally (backwards) and so far I’ve found the model to be missing the supraspinatus & subscapularis muscles. I have the Android app. I’m not sure if the Apple version is different.

Wow, just wow!Wow! I was impressed by their AR books, but this poster takes it to another level. You can literally select any muscle, organ, or bone, walk around it in AR to see it from any angle, and instantly see detailed information about that item. My kids were amazed and are loving it. They also love that they can both view it at the same time with different devices (less opportunity for fighting is always a win for mom). We easily loaded the free app on our iPhones and iPads, went through a quick tutorial, and we were ready to go. This poster should be in every classroom! I wish this technology existed when I was a kid.

The human body was standing right in front of us!!!!This is a perfect way for my kids to learn about human anatomy. It truly places an augmented reality human body right in front of the poster when you use the app. My boys enjoyed being able to select any body part and see more information (except the reproductive system, which is understandably not included). We loaded the app on an Android phone and an iOS phone and both worked great. This poster is steal given that it is interactive and you get detail that you wouldn’t get with one of those much more expensive plastic models of the human body.

So much more than just a posterAn interactive 3D model of the human body emerges from the poster, does some stretches, and then stands there as a fully interactive 3D encyclopedia of human anatomy. Tap any part of the body and a virtual window displays the details. You can hide entire systems or individual body parts as if you were dissecting. This is the future of learning! Can’t wait to see what other subjects this technology will be applied to.
