The gobos could be a LOT betterI ordered three and one of them had a different colored gobo at the highest setting (circular pattern). There is also blemishes on the gobos on all of them it seems. I returned the one with the different gobo, it also had a noticeable blemish on the blue gobo. The redeeming parts are the macros programs (saves programming time) and the overall brightness (red is not that bright though). For the price , its not bad for small parties, or mobile DJing… Small club or permanent rave cave installment, I would go for a step up like the 305.

I bought 4 of these lightly used. These are unbeatable for the money. Super smooth motion, and does great with high speed and super slow scanning. One important thing to note! The colors are set on the individual gobo. This means each gobo lens is colored itself., so you can’t pick both the shape and color. There is a white spot, and a bunch of cool shapes that are various colors, (some gobos are multicolored). Sound active, master slave, and dmx modes all work great. I mostly a, using these in 11 channel dmx mode with a chauvet obey 40 DMX controller. Remember, They are only 10 watt leds, so They’re best in total darkness. Venues with a lot of strong lighting may reduce the effect.Lao so bigger lights will drown out the effect pretty easily. I have two Colorstrip minis, and a mini kinta, and they are much brighter than the scanners. The video is a dmx programmed show with 4 scan 110’s and two colorstrip minis.
