Description
The SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speaker does more than just immerse you – it provides a strong connection to your music. With crisp audio free of distortions, you’ll hear every instrument on the track and nuance in the vocals. It doesn’t matter how the portable speaker is positioned: PositionIQ technology detects its orientation and ensures the best sound. The portable Bluetooth speaker is packed with exclusive technologies. The transducer offers clear sound and deep bass. Its digital signal processing technologies, proprietary code, and custom algorithms work together for ideal sound quality wherever you are. Really, wherever, since the SoundLink Flex is an IP67 waterproof speaker. Its exterior can handle falls, the coat won’t peel or flake, and it resists corrosion and UV light. It’s also easy to hold or store, and you can secure the outdoor speaker with its utility loop. Rigorously tested to meet an IP67 rating, the SoundLink Flex is waterproof. It floats, too, so it won’t sink if it falls off your boat. For added protection from dust and debris, the Bluetooth speaker is crafted and sealed with waterproof materials. Plus, to ensure it can travel with you, Bose subjected the outdoor speaker to water, temperature, and drop tests. These proved that it’s durable enough for anything. And its battery offers up to 12 hours of unplugged play time. The Bose Connect app lets you customize the portable speaker settings, update software, and more. If your phone isn’t nearby, press and hold a button on the IP67 waterproof speaker to access your phone’s Siri or Google Assistant. A built-in microphone means you can also take and make phone calls through the SoundLink Flex. It also connects to other Bluetooth devices within 30 feet for even bigger sound.

Great portable soundUsing Co2crea silicone case and golf cart mount I have a pair mounted on my power wheelchair , using the Bose app to connect them in stereo party mode , I needed to “Pimp my ride” I spend a lot time chasing trains and photographing nature , I have Bose headphones but they weren’t the personal rock concert I was looking for , these speakers definitely fill the bill .diesel locomotives ,squealing axels, road noise etc are defeated by whatever I am listening to . At least for me the built in rechargeable last most of the day ,but I always have the option of powering them directly from chair as they charge ( I special ordered my chair to have a independent 3 Rd battery for lights radios cameras and computers) and yes you can still use and listen to things well they are charging . All in all I am very satisfied by these speakers , I have other brands that are not water and dirt sealed submersible ( you can throw these puppies in the pool or jacuzzi with you they float ).edit forgot to say they have a pretty balanced sound and being attached to the frame of my chair if I turn them up loud well sitting still I can feel the base in my seat and through my joystick . So if you want a compact speaker with bass when you crank it these do well for there size .

If sound matters to you, this is worth it!When I put this speaker in my living room it sounds like I have a huge stereo system from every other room in the house. I like jazz and sometimes classical and this speaker makes it feel like you are in the jazz hall/theater.If you play it loud the battery will run down a little quicker than I would have expected but at low volumes it lasts forever. It’s solid, a little heavy but in a good – confidence building way. When you stand it up on it’s little support feet it is super sturdy and won’t fall over or off a shelf.Overall I would buy it again and if I have a music fan in my life I will buy it for them as a gift.

Overall good speaker with a lot of little problemsProblem 1, be aware that this speaker has NO AUX imput! JBL has one. I cannot stand music devices NOT having an Aux port that is synonymous with Music!?!? It’s like peanut butter and jelly, some things just go together! Problem 2 and possibly the biggest problem is the connectivity of the speaker. I cannot get it to connect to my Note 10 plus phone no matter what I do! Troubleshooting says to remove and reinstall the app, which I did… still can’t connect (sigh) . Also, when you search for the device using bluetooth, when you click on it…it will say “can only connect using the App”! So when the app can’t find the speaker you’re just F’ed! So…currently, I can ONLY connect my iPod to it. Problem 3, there is NO WAY to know how much battery power you have while you are playing it! I owned a JBL speaker and it has like 5 little glowing dots on it, so you can clearly see when your battery is getting low as the lights go out as the battery drains. On this bose speaker you have NO way to know the battery level if you are not using their cheap stupid app so expect to suddenly look over and see a blinking red light, then you have to scramble to plug it in! BIG issue if you have ever owned a JBL. Speaking of JBL, we own a JBL charge 3. Good little speaker until the charging bay broke and it cost more than the speaker is worth to replace it so we will just throw it away, it seems. Boy I HATE that SO many devices use the crappy USB port to charge. It’s Very cheap and doesnt last long.Anywho, so we did a LIVE comparison and as far as bass and clarity the bose beats the JBL hands down. Especially if you put it in the corner…like a kitchen or bedroom corner…..it just turns your walls into a speaker box, sounds NICE. So nice we bought two Bose speakers! The party mode is pretty cool also when you connect two or more bose speakers and listen to your music in Stereo. Lastly, problem 4 is the Rubber type backing of this dirty little speaker. Like a little Rugrat… Or that forever dirty peanuts character Linus, lol! Maybe that’s what we’ll nickname it, lol! They may have thought the rubber was a good idea BUT I think it’s a pain in the ass as it collects SO much lint and other debris! Just look at the two pictures I posted. One is AFTER I clean the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Before the photo was taken, the speaker was just innocently rolling around on our bed where it collected ALL of my husband’s hair and a bit of dandruff it seems, YUCK. It’s like a freaking LINT ROLLER! Lol 🙂 **Where EVER you put it expect it to collect lint and dust**. I clean this speaker every other day as I HATE to see something that is brand new LOOK so TRASHED. So my overall verdict is to buy it! But it’s NOT nearly perfect, far from it! Its not “terribly” bland to look at but its not “cool” looking either. The coolest thing about it is the name of course! I look forward to the 5th and 6th generation of this speaker when all these little annoyances are hopefully improved.

Flex Quality IndeedI received this product on New Years Eve of 2022. I couldn’t wait to get it up & running. After the initial set up & App connection everything worked seamlessly. What an awesome sounding blue tooth portable speaker. I purchased mine in the limited red color. The sound of this unit is in my opinion perfect for my type of music 🎵🎶 listening. The highs, mids, & lows blend just right & not booming like other certain brands. The unit does play very loud & the music is clear & profound but not distorted. I have listened to many blue tooth speakers & so far this is one of my favorite.

Incredible sound on vocals; voice integration w phone for calls, etcAnnounces battery level and which device is connected when turned on.Don’t forget to test different sound/equalizer settings – on both the Bose app and your music player app. Sometimes i change to fit the music ‘genre’.Liked the sound so much, looked into getting a 2nd for stereo/separation but the video reviews i saw mentioned probs w pairing and true stereo sound.Anyway..sounds great on its own.

Better than I expectedI haven’t really been a fan of Bose for many reasons, but I decided to pick up this speaker because it had a great deal. And I mainly use it for audio from podcast and YouTube videos. And it sounds excellent. It’s very loud. It has a extremely warm bass sound signature. Nice, robust sound. I wish the battery life was better. And also it has some kind of quirky connectivity issue that could be just me because I have so many devices I connect. I would suspect for the majority, you would not have any connection issues. I would not pay $150 for the speaker but if you can get it for a deal I would definitely buy it.

A fantastic bluetooth speakerThis speaker is very portable, charges quickly, and has great sound. It is every bit as loud as 2 other BT speakers I have, with clear, crisp sound. The Bose app that controls it is very easy to use. I haven’t tested the “waterproof” claim, but for use indoors or outdoors I am happy with my decision to get this over the JBL.

Great speaker; app is worthlessSound quality is great for such a small speaker. It pairs quickly and easily with my devices, but the other reviews are correct: the app is completely worthless. it would not recognize my device at all. no matter. just pair with my phone or laptop and it works just fine. I do wish there were EQ settings, as the treble could be a little stronger (overall the sound quality is very warm and a tad on the low end for me, but it works just fine for my needs). Also, waterproof. took this in the shower and it was fine.

Gorgeous soundI have never in my life been more thrilled with any product. This thing has such amazing sound. The battery might not last as long as you like but the quality of sound makes it totally worth it and it’s easy to charge it. I used another brand of portable Bluetooth speaker which was good but this one is outstanding.

Best GIFT EVER!!!I got this gift from my husband because he bought one for himself and I was so jealous so he got me one. I just LOVE IT. The sound is amazing. I have another speaker I believe that it’s a DOSS and it has pretty lights and stuff, but the sound quality is nothing compared to this Bose. The DOSS one dies after like an hour, but the battery life on this Bose one is great. I just love this speaker.
