Great Additional Monitor to bring for Travel

This monitor worked out perfectly for my purpose of traveling and working. Easy to hook up and great picture quality and a great price!

  2. Nathan

Great monitor for the switch and psvita tv

Love this thing. For what I am using it for it is great. The speakers aren’t great but better than I expected. Only thing that I’m disappointed in is the cover stand. It does not let you put the monitor on an incline. I have to use a switch stand to lean it at a good angle to use. Other than that for 140 it was a great buy

  3. Carzu

Reasonably priced portable monitor that works and functions as advertised.

I am impressed by the size of the screen, and I like that you can power it using USB-C.

  4. Lisa Terry

    Light weight

The stand/cover is awkward, but screen size is good and it it’s light weight for travel.

  5. Max Elvir Ferrufino

    Easy to setup and portable

The monitor is lightweight, easy to take with you if you travel a lot. The screen is crisp, good brightness and come with a very useful case.

  6. Nicolas

    Truly impressed by quality

I bought a portable monitor before for $180 but returned it as te image quality was awful. So I am truly impressed by the quality of this monitor, which costs $120.

  7. Jimmy

    Works great

It’s just what I needed, great value for the price

  8. Melanie Foster

    great so far

I haven’t used it a whole lot so far but will be traveling soon and intend to use it then. It’s a little heavier than I expected but not to bad. The case / stand is very strange and appears to not hold the monitor well as a stand. After fussing with it and finally going back to the post on Amazon I was able to see what I was doing wrong. The side that has the two smaller sections, one of them needs to be doubled back so it makes something for the monitor to rest against, once I did that all was good. I do intend to use it with my older microsoft surface and will have to get an adaptor as it doesn’t come with one that fits into that computer/Overall I am happy with my purchase.

    Decent portable Monitor

Overall I’m happy with the portable monitor. The case/screen protector works ok for landscape but not very good for portrait. The controls are also not accessible when in portrait. The speakers aren’t very good either. The display colors, brightness ect are all good. The size is good and portable which is why I didn’t go with a 15.6 or larger. Having usb-c and hdmi was a requirement since I use it with a laptop and sometimes a pc.

Amazing portable monitors for the price!

For what these portable monitors cost, the picture is great. I bought two of these for my mobile trading setup and I love them. They are perfect for this use. I haven’t tried them for gaming but they are only 60hz monitors, so a competitive PC gamer would probably want a 144hz or higher 1080p monitor instead for that 144FPS capability. You might get a little backlight bleed but let’s be realistic…if you are going to be carrying these around in a laptop bag all over the world, they are going to get jostled around a lot and you can easily replace them if they get broken. Don’t expect them to produce solid black backgrounds like higher-quality QLED or other technology monitors, but the colors and resolution are really great. If you want better resolution to watch movies or for 60FPS 4K gaming, then you should just buy portable 4K monitors. Just make sure your laptop can power them via the connectors you intend to use with the integrated and/or discrete graphics cards you have installed in the laptop, especially if you want to run more than one of these off your laptop. The “anti-glare” screen cover they include is literally a sheet of matte plastic glued onto the top of the frame and draped over the monitor, which I ripped off immediately and cleaned the glue off the frame. You don’t need it as they don’t show too much glare at all.The monitor USB-C connections are NOT Thunderbolt 3 connections, so you cannot daisy chain several of these monitors through a Thunderbolt 3 connection. They are easily connectible via USB-C or Mini-HDMI easily enough. The USB-C port on the right side of the monitor is for the adapter power input only, and the left side of the monitor has a separate USB-C port for the video connection and a Mini-HDMI port as well.Look for different sellers to get good coupon clips on these to save another $20-30 depending on the day of the week. I first found them at $179.99 with a $20 coupon, then the next day they were $159.99 with a $20 coupon from another seller. So, I paid $139.99/ea at the time of purchase. I had to buy the two monitors separately to apply the coupon to both monitors individually. If you put two in your cart, the coupon will only apply to one monitor.

    Light and easy to use

Great purchase, exactly what I was looking.

    Practical and Useful Monitor

I am using this monitor for connecting my WiiU gamepad and the iphone. Both connect perfectly and the monitor provides a great view of the screens on the game console / cell phone. The monitor works perfectly.Highly recommended.

  14. Logan Kes

    Can’t complain for a $100 portable monitor

For a $100 portable monitor, it’s got a great build construction, solid aluminum and the leather folio stand / cover is great! Uses strong magnets to attach to the screen. Works great with a single type c cable, which makes setup effortless compared to the old usb based display link. Tried using with an Xbox series s and it worked as well as you would expect for a 1080p IPS display.

  15. Nina

Heavy for an item that’s meant to be portable

I was pleasantly surprised with this monitor. The quality is great and was super easy to connect to computer. My only complaint is that it’s much heavier than expected.

  16. S. Hopper

    Great quality

I work from home and always need a 2nd screen for my laptop. I have a very large one set up in my home office, but wanted something portable that would be easy to set up when I wanted to work elsewhere. Specifically at my backyard pool during the summer!I had no idea there would be so many to choose from when I started researching one to buy. I relied very heavily on reviews when making my decision, and have no regrets in purchasing this one. This connects to my laptop with the (included) hdmi cord. The quality of the screen is really good, even when outside in the bright sun.Unfortunately, it is not battery powered. I plug it into my portable battery, though, and it works just fine all day long. The cover that comes with it works great for protection when on the go and also as a stand when in use. This feature was very important to me when deciding which to buy and did not disappoint.I have recommended this screen to 2 other people who have also purchased it based on my recommendation and they are pleased with it as well. Highly recommend.

Good portable option; manufacturer resolved cord issue

This monitor works well for a small second screen and portable option. I had an issue with one of my cords not working after several months and the manufacturer resolved it by refunding me for the purchase of the new cord.

  18. Andrew L (FL)

Nice screen, Poor volume, weight is NOT 0.75 lb (as advertised)

Got this as a travelling second screen for my laptop (ie multiple docs readable at once). As one can appreciate, every ounce counts. The screen is 14.1 oz, the detatchable cover is 8.8 oz making the total (less cables and power supply) 22.9 oz (1.43 lb, 0.65 Kg)All that said, the screen is crisp at 2560×1600 but print is tiny without scale magnification. I found it comfortable at 1920×1200 with scale at 100%.sound is present, just keep the volume at100% and don’t expect to hear your system sounds although videos are loud enough. Sound quality is what you would expect … mediocre at best. The stand wasn’t obvious how to engage, but it is magnetic. Look at the pics in the product description.I considered sending it back because of the weight issue, but ultimately kept the product as it seems to be a good screen and that is what I needed.

Works very well, but a bit cably

I tried this on my last trip and it worked as expected, but I found having to use two cables (one for data, one for signal) to create a bit of visual clutter on the small hotel desk.On the other hand, trying to connect a Lenovo Pro tablet as a second monitor required REMOVING SECURITY UPDATES on Windows, and then still had to go through a wi-fi connection for the data (which aren’t that secure in hotels). One star off for the messy cabling, but otherwise great.

    Good portable monitor

I bought this so I could have a monitor that was easy to transport between home and work. The monitor itself is great – easy to set up with good picture quality. It’s lightweight and easy to set up. However, the protective “Smart Cover” that’s supposed to double as a stand isn’t useful. It’s flimsy and doesn’t support the monitor very well. Overall, though, if you’re looking for a second screen that you can easily pack in your bag and that isn’t going to cost you hundreds of dollars, this is a good one. I’d buy it again.

    Replacement Monitor Works Much Better.

The original monitor that I received had a fatal flaw, when it was connected to my Mac or to my iPhone it would cause those devices to freeze momentarily every few minutes or would glitch. I did receive a replacement and the new monitor no longer has these issues, so I am pleased with it. The HDR is still a bit of a gimmick but the monitor works significantly better than the first one. Also, the screen on this one looks good. You may need to tweak it slightly in the settings, but out of the box it’s not as whacky as the first copy I had.As before I used it with my Mac and iPhone 13 PM and both work fine with this monitor now. The replacement is a big improvement so far.===== Original Review:I wanted to like this monitor but sadly, had to return it. For starters, it has an “HDR mode” that is not really HDR at all. I had to disable this so that the screen would display the correct colors. Otherwise, the screen will just display all washed out.Once the colors were figured out the screen was ok. It reminded me of old laptop screens of the early 2000s. It’s ok but not great and nothing like current laptop screens. So, lower expectations in this regard. My biggest problem, even if I wanted to look past the mediocre screen and image quality, was that my MacBook Pro would freeze every 2-3 mins with this monitor connected. This is using either/or the usb c connection or the hdmi connection. Both would cause my Mac to freeze up and give the beach ball. As soon as I unplugged the monitor the freezing went away.Looking at the console logs showed that while there was a freeze occurring the Mac reported a “signal error” from the graphics card. So, I know it’s the monitor causing it.Additionally, I wanted to use the monitor with my phone and it would work for a brief period then it would glitch and I’d have to unplug the monitor and plug it back into my phone. This happened at the same cadence as the freezing would on my Mac.The monitor was returned today and I ordered a different one from another manufacturer. Hopefully it works better.

Good 2K portable monitor for the price

Good monitor for the price. USB C connection works great. The provided cables are a bit stiff but greatly appreciated. Save me some money to buy HDMI adapter. The only negative is getting the Smart Cover to work as a stand. I ended up using a book to prop it up like another user did. We will see how long this will last.

  23. Luther Leong

    Great Portable Monitor

I have ordered from this seller before but the monitor I ordered was too large for my needs (15 inches) and returned it. Since I work from home now, I decided to find a smaller monitor that would be easy to travel with. This one is perfect! At the 13.3 inch size, it’s VERY easy to pack, super thin and has lots of options for connecting to devices. I will mainly be using it to connect to my work laptop when I’m on the road and was impressed by the USB-C connector to my work laptop that didn’t require another power source for the monitor. I also tried the monitor on an older personal laptop that I converted to a Chrome OS device and it worked great too! The speakers on the monitor are nice and loud for a portable monitor as well. This will definitely work well for my needs and I recommend you give it a try as well, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

    Use the right cables

Awesome screen just be aware not all cables are created equal. It wont work with any old cable only high quality cables or the ones it comes with. The one it comes with can transmit data AND power, but old cables will make it automatically default to sleep mode.

  25. Amazon Customer

Nice monitor , exceeded my expectations!

Love the portability and quality of this product, light and very versatile!

    Great portable monitor!

First day back to teleworking. Unfortunately I was only issued a tablet. 15 minutes in I knew that it was going to be a long day without having a second monitor.Around 9am, I got on my phone to see if Amazon had monitors with same day delivery (I reside near many distribution center).I ordered this monitor at 9:44am and it arrived 1:30pm!!!!This monitor saved my sanity for working at home.I also love that the appropriate cables to connect to my tablet came in the box.Looking forward to taking this monitor out on our trips so the kids can connect their Nintendo Switch too.

  27. Stephie M

    Love this monitor for work

I bought this because I’m spoiled with multiple monitors, and this one lets me easily have an extra for my laptop in conference rooms and working from home. It’s super easy to plug and play, and I love I can charge and connect it with the same USB-C to USB-C cord. All your nerd friends at work will like it.

Only works with the usb-c cable it comes with

The portable monitor is great for what I need, but you can only use the usb-c cable it came with to work. I read other reviews here that you need usb-c 3.1 and up for this to work if you need a longer cable. I’ll update my review as soon as I get that higher usb-c cable.

  30. JoppyJusVibin

    Nice screen

Speakers are good and good picture quality I use it to play Xbox on and as a second screen for my pc and it does the job. Xbox won’t recognize the 1440p for some reason but I’m still happy with the performance

  31. lyndsay

    Such a help!

I got this extra monitor to give me a second monitor when I was traveling for work. It’s about the size/weight of a large tablet, so even with my laptop in my bag, it’s not excessively heavy. It makes it SO NICE to work from a hotel room with that extra monitor. I also used it when I went on vacation as a TV using streaming services. It was super easy to get hooked up to my laptop, there are a number of ways it will connect, and all the cords are included. I can’t begin to say how much this has changed work travel for me!

  32. Chad M

    Good Quality and Excellent Product

This monitor functions exactly how I imagined it would. I travel for work and having this portable monitor, which folds up nicely in its own protective case, is essential if you’re more productive with two monitors. The monitor arrived nicely packaged with all the necessary cables. It was easy to set up. If using the USB C, be sure your laptop is plugged in. Otherwise your battery will deplete quickly. The only negative comment I have is the monitor does not retain a settings memory and I find myself having to adjust the brightness every time I connect to use it.

Love it very beneficial and comes in handy

Love. Very useful for any working from home needing multiple screens

  34. Haneef B

Better than what I was working with before.

It’s thinner than my previous monitor and a larger screen. The only issue I have is that it seems more likely to break out bend. I also didn’t like the fact that the USB C can’t it came with was so short as well as the HDMI/HDMI mini. Other than that, so that so good.

  35. submarine

Good for SDR after calibration, do not use for HDR or TV watching.

This review is for the 13.3″ 2k (2560×1600) model. This is a nicely built monitor, and comes in a nice case that doubles as kickstand. I don’t know if it would be enough to protect it during travel, I would probably add two stuff pieces of cardboard around it in a soft pouch. The good:- MacBook pros see it as display port monitor so they won’t overheat (as compared to the various adapters that show as USB billboard devices). This alone is worth it.- 3 inputs (2 working usb-c / display port and HDMI- SDR picture can be quite nice after calibration (read below for the values for my unit)- a power adapter and a usb-c type DisplayPort cable are includedThe neutral:- sound is ok, can get loud, but is on the thin side, and kind of expected at this size and price point, though there is a place for larger/better speakers- HDMI port is the deprecated mini type. There really isn’t a good reason to have that one selected considering micro HDMI has been the norm for small devices for at least the last 10 years. They give you a male cable, and you can get a female one cheap enough. There is space for a full sized port if the inputs were arranged in the opposite order of which they are now, but at this price point I’m sure they are reusing the input board from other models.- with the case opened in kickstand position the front of the monitor feels a little unprotected as there is no glass, just a matte film. But at this price point it is expected. The bad:- the monitor out of the box is very color inaccurate. At the predefined 6500k color temperature, it measures at 7500k actual at gray point and while primary colors are okay-ish secondary colors are way off – avg dE is 6.72 with 12.06 maximum. At the predefined 9300k color temperature it measures at over 11500k – avg dE is 24.24 with 39.81 maximum. There is a low blue light mode witch at the middle (2) setting will bring the predefined 9300k profile to 6500k but with a lot of inaccuracy as it is boosting the green instead of the red channel and everything is very greenish. Average dE over 70.Fortunately colors can be corrected – switch to custom color and set R115 G118 B118 and hue 49. This gives average dE of 0.53 with 0.90 maximum for SDR signal. You can get dE of 0.52 with a max of 0.86 with R125 G128 B129 and hue 49, but this setting has more deviation in the gamma profile than the former. Both these are pretty good results given how little controls you are able to access. The ugly:- the monitor will stretch any input signal to the edges of the screen (16:10) without preserving aspect ratio, so if you pass a TV signal to it (16:9) e.g. from a FireTV or Roku stick, the picture will be distorted. There is no option in the menus to make the scaling proper. I have several 16:10 monitors and all of them preserve aspect ratio and letterbox except this one.- while the monitor supports HDR input (HDR10 to be precise), the output looks atrocious. The color profiles are thrown out the window as are brightness and contrast controls. The image is over greenish and there is no detail in the dark sections. If you turn HDR off in the monitor settings but still send it HDR signal, you will see good shadow details but really burned highlights and washed out colors.I am sure that these can be fixed with a firmware update, if the device allows it, but I checked the ARZOPA site and there is no mention of firmware updates. And while the monitor fails to deliver equally well on all of its advertised features, if you plan to limit your use to a laptop/pc with a usb-c display port alternative mode capability, it is a good buy, especially if you have a colorimeter and can calibrate it.

Highly versatile, great valued, and high quality portable monitor

OVERVIEWI am blown away at how thin and light the ARZOPA portable monitor is! The monitor has a true IPS panel so the screen and be easily viewed from all angles. The image quality is crisp and text is clear and easy to read. It’s highly versatile, includes everything you need right out of the box. Perfect for traveling when you need a mobile workstation during the day and a high quality monitor for playing videogames at night (YES, IT WORKS WITH CONSOLE SYSTEMS)HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL AND VERSATILEI have tested the screen using my Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Nintendo Switch, XBOX 360, and PS4 and the ARZOPA screen worked perfectly without any problems! Seriously one of my best purchases within the last year and I cannot believe I didn’t think to buy this sooner. It would have made traveling for work so much more enjoyable, I can watch movies, play games, or get work done at the airport, hotel, or even a coffee shop!GREAT VALUEWhat makes this a great value is that it comes with a with all the necessary cables and a case needed to get going. Everything is literally in the box! Everything is high quality from the cables, to the power brick, and especially the smart folio case that is included! When break down everything that is included with the monitor such as very thick USB-C to USB-C cable ($10), Mini HDMI to HDMI ($8), USB-C to USB-A + Power Brick ($10), and the case ($15), you end up saving money going with the ARZOPA portable monitor!More about the device…There are three inputs, a mini HDMI port, a USB-C port to power the device, and a second dual purpose USB-C port that can power the device and receive video signal from the same port. With that said, I have no problems using the screen with just the USB-C to USB-C provided and connecting it to my Microsoft Surface Pro 7. If you want to go the HDMI to Mini HDMI route, you would need to power the monitor with the supplied cable and power brick as HDMI cannot supply power to a device. There are two speakers which are adequate but let’s be real, users would most likely be using headphone anyways. Another workaround if the speaker bothers you is to connect to a portable Bluetooth speaker for better audio!GREAT FOR TRAVELING AS A MOBILE WORKSTATIONI use this on the go for getting work done during business trips. It flies easier than a 15.6″ laptop since it is light and thin. I have no problems getting it through security in my carry-on and it has been holding up beautifully despite me not being gentle with it at all.

    Great for traveling while working

This screen does its job. But being in creative field it’s hard to ignore the quality of the picture, it’s definitely lower quality, so I wouldn’t pull up a photo or any design on it to work from that screen. Also when I first plugged it in the screen type and everything was extremely small – shrank! Impossible to read! I was quite disappointed … I figured you can sort of adjust the screen size to “match” different screen type. It is not perfect as it distorted everything a bit. But for that price and being able to use secondary screen which is very light and thin while traveling I can’t complain that much!If you do some remote work from time to time while traveling, this little external monitor is great and won’t take much space in your laptop case! I can fit my 16″ laptop, this external monitor, mouse pad all in one laptop sleeve without any issue!

Good monitors, Customer service leaves something to be desired.

I bought two of these monitors, and originally I rated them 5 stars. They easily fit in my laptop case for when I’m working on the go, and they fit into my custom 3D printed monitor stand mounts for when I’m at home. The provided cases/ stands offer great protection and versatility, and they come with everything I needed for plug and play operation. With decent color and brightness, They offer me the screen real estate I need to run 10+ programs at a time, on the go.There was a hiccup with Customer service. After finding out one of the monitors was defective within the 1 year warranty, I sent it back at my expense, per the instructions provided in the correspondence from customer service. Weeks after sending the monitor back for replacement, and no reply, I assumed I had been scammed and I was out the cost of the monitor plus $40 shipping, and my reaction was to drop my rating to 1 star and write these Arzopa Monitors off as a bad purchase.HOWEVER, Arzopa made it right. According to the email correspondence, customer service was in a bit of a transition period, and my replacement issue had fallen through the cracks. A few more weeks passed by before I heard back from customer service explaining the situation. While I’m NOT happy with the initial hardware issue, and the length of time between correspondence, I am happy to say that I finally received my replacement today, which is actually better than the original, IMO, as it has the power and video connection on the same side, instead of the opposite like the original, making portrait mode while on the go feasible. At this point, I am on the fence about Arzopa products and customer service, but credit where credit is due, they did finally deliver on their promise of a replacement. I once again have the screen real estate to do my job efficiently and I’m beyond happy for that. The situation could have been handled differently, but I’m willing to give Arzopa the benefit of the doubt, and hope I don’t run into further issues.

    Works perfect

Hooked right up to my Dell laptop. No issues. Connected the wire and asked computer to extend screen instead of duplicate and I was all ready to go!

Small but mighty! WFA Must Have!

The media could not be loaded.

Work from anywhere must have if you need dual monitors! I have 3 monitors and this one keeps up with the heavy desktop monitor. Very Sturdy case and absolutely no lagging in graphics. It is great!

    Great panel..when it works

If you’re looking at a device like this, order this a week before you need it. I needed this external monitor so I could work remotely out of a hotel. I got it a day before I had to leave. Upon setting it up it did not work. I had to shimmy the power button significantly in order to get it to turn on. Now that it’s turned on it’s a crystal clear monitor and it’s very impressive. If not for the problem with the power button, I would have kept it. Again order it before you need it so you can make sure it works in advance.

    Does not work with iPhone

I have used this portable monitor for a while now as a second monitor for my Macbook Air and it works great and seamlessly. And the same goes for my iPad Pro. But I have tried everything I can think of and it just will not mirror or work with my iPhone. I had an iphone workout video I wanted to display on this larger monitor, and no setup I tried would work. So I am pretty frustrated about that. If I cant use it to display phone videos or movies while traveling then that is annoying. And I have no idea why it works fine with a Macbook and iPad but not the iPhone.

    Very good portable monitor!

I picked this monitor up on a whim in order to be a little more mobile with my WFH “desk” options. I have a MacBook Pro, but as a developer, I really need a second screen. So first the pros:-Price. I’ve seen this model fluctuate a bit but when I purchased it, it was just under $150–pretty reasonable to me for what it is-Ready to use out of the box. The monitor comes with several different connection options (USB-C, USB to USBC, HDMI to miniHDMI) to cover the bases of just about any modern laptop/gaming device. I didn’t have to purchase anything additional.-Display clarity. I’m not a designer or art director but for my purposes, the screen is bright, clear, and looks pretty great next to my MacBookI didn’t have an opportunity yet to hook it up to my Switch, but if it looks/functions well with that, it’s a bonus. It’s a lightweight and very portable monitor, a little bit larger and heavier than the largest iPad. With its magnetic case, it’s simple to just toss into a backpack for use on the go.However, the only con I have is about that same case. There is quite a bit of origami involved to get it folded just right in order to hold the monitor upright. From what I can tell, the two “viewing angles” in the description just refer to two different indentations in the case where the monitor can rest. Neither is especially stable. A little shake to the table or even just over time caused the monitor to collapse for me. The design would have been perfect had there been a little built-in kickstand on the back of the monitor to keep itself upright. The case is fine for storage and transport, but I would recommend a small stand of some kind instead to keep it up. Still not too terrible a trade off for an otherwise slick and suitable portable monitor.

    6 MONTHS SHELF LIFE

My monitor lasted < 6 months. It now turns on and off endlessly.Overall worked okay, but the quality is as expected considering the $ paid. Was hoping it would last longer. That's what she said.

    Decent screen with some shortcomings

Tried using this 13.3″ 2K screen with my Dell XPS 13 (7390). Seemed to work perfectly. Could not really adjust anything but brightness and volume. The OSD described in the manual was not present, only a small input choice OSD. Screen not quite as bright as my XPS, but I turned down my XPS brightness to match and both looked great.Next, tried on my new iPad Mini w/USB-C. At first, it seemed to work (duplicates display only so very limited functionality), but then I tried to play a movie and about 1 second into playing, the tablet goes into some sort of self-test mode displaying RGB screens. Requires removing power to become operational again. Discovered the iPad didn’t have enough power output to drive the external screen, so I connected a power adapter to the screen, plus the cable from the iPad. Had a hard time getting anything to display. Then I realized that the documentation labels the input ports as C1 and C2, but something is backwards and the OSD chooser uses C1 when C2 is chosen from the menu and vice versa. Then, brightness is limited to 30%, which isn’t great for most anything. Connecting power to the screen allowed brightness to 50% max. Why not 100% if I have power directly into the screen? Also, I notice when power is plugged into the screen and the screen connected to my iPad Mini, the iPad gets charged!Overall, connecting to a laptop is easier and works as expected (except for the weird C1/C2 mixup) but using an iPad is just not that great. I have a Samsung Tab S8 I will try also.

    Just what I needed!

PRODUCT REVIEW: This monitor is perfect for me! I am a medical student who takes notes on my microsoft surface pro but also need to be watching a screen for my lecture. Most students buy two separate computer devices to do this (ugh…too expensive!) so instead I carry this lightweight monitor and cord with me so that I can extend my computer screen which does the exact same thing as my classmates with two devices for a TINY FRACTION of the cost! People walk by me at school and rave about how genius my “set up” is with my monitor (which I set up on a stand to help save my neck, shoulders, and back) and then take my notes on my computer. (I also bought my computer stand on amazon, it’s the brand YOOBAO. I really really like it, though it appears slightly narrow for my monitor, it is very stable.)CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW: During summer break I didn’t use my monitor and then when I tried to start using it again I couldn’t get it to turn on. I reached out to the ARZOPA customer service using facebook messenger and they worked very hard to help me find a solution. They were very kind and I appreciate them very much. As it turned out, I was not using the original cord that came with the monitor (they give you loads of cords, just about anything you would need to connect any device–its awesome!) but I accidentally grabbed the wrong one out of my bag. Once I plugged the original cord into the monitor and my computer it came right on! I have had my monitor for one year now and it’s still working great. The service team even told me how to register it to extend my warranty for another year for free! Thank you to the ARZOPA team 🙂

    Fine for work applications…

The monitor works fine for work or displaying a movie on a larger screen. The picture quality seems a little washed out to me, but not so much so that it causes a problem. The built-in speakers don’t get very loud, but loud enough to hear clearly in a relatively quiet environment. I was frankly surprised it had them at all. Nice little bonus if you ask me.The screen cover/stand is alright, but sometimes I have to fiddle with it to get the screen to stay in place. It would be nice if the grooves were a little deeper or had more of an edge to them.Overall, I’d say I got what I expected. At this price point, you get what you pay for which is a capable portable screen.Note that mine had a minor manufacturing defect so I’m exchanging it. I will update if there’s any problem with the new one. I contacted the manufacturer support about it and they were pretty quick to respond for one of these companies – within a couple days, so that was good.

    Great for work while traveling

For the price, this is excellent. Wasn’t expecting a lot of bells and whistles, and it is exactly what I needed while working on an extended trip. It’s great to have a portable second screen that sets up in seconds (literally just plug it into your laptop). Took a minute to figure out the volume and brightness controls (it’s a small toggle switch on the left side), and I’m not the biggest fan of the sound automatically going through the screens speakers because they’re not nearly as good as my Mac’s, but I’m sure that’s a setting I can configure if I really want to. The packaging was very similar to Apple’s and felt nice and sturdy. Would not recommend this if you need a second screen with high quality graphics. For basic work emails, spreadsheets, browsing, it’s great.

Quality product at reasonable cost. A+ Services.

The monitor is surprisingly good at this price range. Sharp display, vivid color, bright back light. The monitor is very light and thin makes it perfect for portable device. The first monitor I received has a glitch. Connect the monitor (as the 2nd extended monitor) to a PC thru a HDMI port from the 8GB graphic card, the highest resolution is only at 1920×1080. Same result with 3 different PC’s. I post a question here in the QA section if there is any solution. The seller (NANYAN) initiates a contact with me and offers help to troubleshoot. After exhausting all solution, the seller suggests me to contact Amazon for an exchange. I received the replacement on the next day. It works fine. The glitch shows that the seller is actively support the product. Thanks to Arzopa Customer Service Team and Amazon return/replace policy. Highly recommended and will buy again with confident.

    Great monitor

Bought for my daughter to take to college for her architecture classes and figured I would buy one for myself as well. Picture quality is very good and I really enjoy how compact it is as well. Lightweight and carrie’s just like a tablet. Also like the fact that even though it comes with the usb wall plug and all cables you need you can just plug it into your laptop directly making it very portable which is what I was looking for.

    Would not travel without it!

This was a top ten purchase for me. I had been using a larger monitor in my home office, but had to look around my laptop to see it, and then not very well with my vision. This monitor allows me to have the second screen right next to my laptop (Surface 8). The time it saves in copying and pasting, keeping track of emails while conducting a class and anything else a second monitor is good for is significant. I wanted this smaller monitor as it is the same size as the laptop and fits all of my travel bags. The cover is nice and can be used for a stand, but I purchased a small foldable stand to give more stability.Key points about his monitor: it is powered by a USB C cable from the laptop; it does not have a battery; this is not a problem as this only serves as a second monitor and has no other capabilities (WIFI/BT). A higher level USB C cable must be used (3.1). I tried other cables I had, but it only worked with the included USB C cable until I bought some higher level cables.Settings: I was playing with the settings and made this discovery. When the monitor has the HDR setting set to AUTO, it will deactivate come other settings. I went back and forth with their support until this was determined. At first, I though there was a problem with the setting menu button.I may but another to keep on the home desk and not to unpack after each trip.

Excellent for lots of screen real estate in a small footprint, ultra easy to use un Mac

I looked far and wide for a portable, USB-powered monitor that would fit in my already very crowded, very small desk. This was the perfect solution. Not only is it physically smaller than most of the others on the market (13.3″ vs the standard 15.6″ offerings from most companies) but it also has SIGIFICANTLY better resolution than standard 1080p. Not only that, but it’s 16:10 aspect ratio, which if you are a mac user, is the aspect ratio you are probably used to seeing (as opposed to 16:9 which is the ratio of most PC-based screens and most TV’s)It only has one “con” and it’s barely a con at all. It doesn’t have the darkest black. Maybe there’s a way I can configure/tweak the color settings (which, by the way the OSD menu is easy to use and has quite a few more options than many full size desktop monitors)… but at the price and with all of its other features, this is nearly impossible to beat.It is supplied with all of the needed cables for practically any situation, as well as a power adapter if you happen to be plugging it into a device that uses HDMI or won’t send power down the USB-C port. Using a laptop, it should only need to be plugged into the supplied USB-C cable directly to the computer, and it works like a champ. It’s hard to believe this thing is at the low price that it is. I was expecting to finally stumble onto a portable monitor that fits all my demanding specifications and have it cost 2-3x what the standard ones cost. But no, this is actually CHEAPER!

13” is great for the M2 Air

I bought the 13” 2k version because it’s very close to the screen size of the Macbook Air M2 and similar resolution. It’s a really great screen and super slim and light and seems like it matches the 2k resolution of the Mac. Just be sure to check “Show all resolutions” and select “1280 x 800 (HiDPI)” for best resolution and aspect ratio in displays settings.

Nice compact screen to expand MacBook viewing

This portable screen is Nice add on to the MacBook Viewing for multi tasking. The packaging and box are a beautiful design, better than most Apple product boxes of recent. This was Recommended to me by someone who travels a lot with it.My observations: Screen brightness can be adjusted, however the color does not match the MacBook screen, as the colors seem brighter, if slightly less saturated. I love the option of external power also vs. plugging in to USB-C port for viewing and power at the same time. For best viewing angle-positioning, I use an Ipad cradle to place the screen at a similar angle as the laptop—Does not take up much room on your desk, either,Highly recommend this as a BUY!

Great portable second monitor – cables included

Quality monitor for a low cost. Easy to transport as it is smaller and more lightweight than my laptop. Comes with three different cables to accommodate your requirements and with usb-c you can manage power and display with a single cable. Fantastic for travel. Brightness is easily controlled and gets just as bright and clear as my laptop screen. Good buy!
