Description
Acoustic Audio CS-IC83 Cinema Series 8″ in-ceiling surround sound 3-way speakers are ideal for any home, office or entertainment area because they are designed with supreme performance in mind. Each speaker handles 350 watts of power and includes: a 8″ Poly cone woofer for improved motion and higher bass response, a butyl rubber surround, a progressive spider for greater control and higher excursion capabilities, a poly mica midrange, a 13mm soft dome tweeter for detailed high frequencies and a 3-way passive crossover for greater fidelity. Spring loaded push terminals allow for easy connectivity and its low profile baffle housing was designed for simple installation and an improved frequency response. The white grill will coordinate well with any interior, or can be painted to match individual décor. Included is a cutout template to aid in the installation process and full instructions.

removing the inner grillif you just work your way around the edge of the speaker grill press up the grill of the speaker, it will pop out without any problem and I was able to reinsert the grill will no problem after I installed them. Love the sound and the way they look in the ceiling.

Good sound quality for the priceOnce you open the grill cover from the speaker. It’s hard to put it back especially if it falls while fixing it and shapes out. Rest is easy to install.

Great for the priceI am no audiophile, but these sound pretty great considering the price. I have heard better from brands 4x as much, and it would be nice if the tweeters were aimable, but a quick adjustment of my EQ made them sound exactly like I wanted.

Great sounding speaker for the price.These speakers are great, they are much bigger than I expected and the sound very good, the quality of the plastic and components are very good, I installed them on a house with average height ceilings and they sound great, will definitely buy them again for my next install on a house with high ceilings.
