Compact L‑Acoustics A10 system installed at Bali’s Secret Garden Spring Ambassador Lounge
Background and context
Secret Garden Spring, a new lifestyle complex on Sunset Road in Kuta, Bali, opened in March 2026 with an expected annual footfall of more than 600,000 visitors. The three-storey site combines beauty retail, perfume-making workshops, a spa, multiple dining options, a coffee house, cigar lounge, and a transit lounge aimed at travelers between flights.
On the top level, the Ambassador Lounge serves as the group’s dedicated events space for south Bali. The venue accommodates around 350 to 400 people and can be divided into three smaller rooms with folding partitions. From the outset, the space was planned to host both corporate events—such as meetings and conferences—and live music performances.
This dual role placed particular demands on the audio specification: the system needed to deliver intelligible speech for presentations while also providing sufficient output and bandwidth for full band performances.
Key announcement
To meet these requirements, the Secret Garden Group selected a sound system from manufacturer L‑Acoustics, supplied and integrated by Jakarta-based partner PT Gracia Auvindo. The decision followed a three-way competitive tender, in which the contractor used L‑Acoustics Soundvision modeling software to present a detailed system concept.
The Ambassador Lounge measures 27 meters by 19 meters but has a relatively low five-meter ceiling with structural beams crossing the space. In addition, a line of LED screens along the presentation wall needed to remain unobstructed for both conference content and show visuals, limiting where loudspeakers could be placed.
PT Gracia Auvindo recreated the room in Soundvision using the architectural drawings, including the beams and ceiling height. The model allowed the venue’s owners to see predicted sound coverage, rigging options for the low ceiling, and expected power consumption before approving any hardware. According to the integrator, this visualization was central in winning the project.
The final design is built around the L‑Acoustics A10 line. Each side of the room features a flown array comprising two A10 Focus and one A10 Wide enclosure, mounted above the LED screens to keep sightlines clear while using all available height. Low-frequency support comes from four KS21i subwoofers flown centrally, with four X6i loudspeakers providing front-fill along the stage edge.
