Lessons Learned From a Record-Breaking Online Book Launch
On August 21, Alex Hormozi released his most recent book via Zoom Meeting, with over 500,000 individuals registered to attend. Despite technical difficulties, 85,000 people attended the 90-minute Zoom event live, and more viewed on YouTube. The event, according to Hormozi, broke the Guinness World Record for a live virtual business engagement.
The launch was the culmination of years of effort and cost $300,000. Over 600,000 individuals have viewed the live stream on YouTube, both live and on-demand, and the number continues to grow. But beyond the virtual event’s overwhelming reach, there are numerous lessons to be learned from it.
This virtual function marked the release of Hormozi’s second book, $100M Leads. The initial was known as $100M Offers. Hormozi is a fitness industry-experienced entrepreneur and the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. He frequently shares his knowledge of customer acquisition and monetization online, and his millions of followers regard him as a marketing expert.
