Easy Mixing and Recording
F-Control has nine 60 mm faders (eight + Master) and hands-on input/output control for trim, pan, track arming, and PFL. There are also a dedicated time code button, 12-segment LED meters, and three user-programmable buttons for monitoring channel and output levels.

Great with F6This works great with Zoom F6 even though it’s not listed in the description.Comes with USB-mini cable, and 1/4″ trs cable … Doesn’t fit F6 so make sure you have a USB-C to USB-A cable and 1/4″ to 3.5mm trs cable.I use it with a wireless pocket keyboard to type file names. Works great. (I have the Rii mwk02+, but I think most will work as long as it has a USB dongle and doesn’t require a lot of power).Minus 1 star because AA battery slot is mostly closed. AA batteries always always always leak acid eventually on me, and there is no way to clean the negative battery contact in this without completely taking it apart.Overall, a little over priced, but nice to have for stationary recording, or configuring before a shoot. Wish it could connect to recorder wirelessly with the wireless dongle that zoom already makes.

AC adaptation is a challenge for F8 usersBigger nobs, faders, meters, smart layout, etc. All great. However, contrary to common beliefs via Amazon Q&A, the mixer does not come with an AC adapter, the F8 does not supply power to the mixer via USB. Solution: Buy an AD-19 adapter & DCH-1 extension cable if you want AC.

Just buy itHits way above its weight! I used this in a very harsh environment, outdoors, to control the mixer which was safely sealed up in a dry bag to protect from the elements. It got a little beat up, but it never let me down. If you’re here even considering it, just buy it. It will help your workflow.

Excellent companion for the F*nThe FRC-8 is a “must have” addition to Zoom’s F8n. The F8n is fully functional on its own but the FRC-8 makes it a lot easier, especially if you have larger hands. Highly recommended.
