Decent, solid, reliablePros: It does/has nearly everything you’d expect and they pack it all in rather neatly. The (to me) effortless BT pairing, USB storage manipulation, USB Computer Interfacing… all of it works as I’d hoped it would. Also, very low noise even when connected to a sketchy power supply.Neutrals: It doesn’t have an amp, which seems about right for the price.Cons: One thing that I was not aware of, was not properly documented, and DOES make a difference, is that the external FX send and receive is only mono. In fact, the built-in FX for the most part sounds monochromatic too – which I can’t confirm if it actually is or isn’t b/c it isn’t documented at all. For singular voices without a wide range, or _maybe_ a regular piano / acoustic guitar, it doesn’t make much of a difference. However when mixing musical instruments with wider ranges it’s the difference between sounding flat and sounding spacious. You’d literally have to intercept the stereo output of the entire mixer to get true stereo FX incorporated into the mix. I know this sounds niche… and it is… but it is important to know.TL;DR: This thing and it’s brethren are great, especially if you want something legit & reliable hooked up to your computer or want to incorporate an external bluetooth source such as a cell phone into a decent mixer – i.e. weddings or house parties. However, I would not recommend this for poly synthesizers or anything with stereo pickups, and you want to add effects that bend or manipulate L&R channels.

Be the Star of your Karoake PartyI so wanted to do a video review of this one!!I had 4 mics connected (2 via wireless bridge, 2 via XLR cable), an iPad connected via bluetooth. This thing had 6 people crooning and I was the proud host at the end of the party!!Volume controls are very fine in adjustments. They probably have good quality potentiometers. I was able to finely adjust the singers’ volumes to the music very efficiently.Things I didnt like:FX is just darn echo and its not that great and the fanciness wears off after few usage. There is no rhyme or reason on what 1 or 2 or 5 does. Just echoes differently. What a wasted feature.USB button switches off Bluetooth. Yep. I mean, why? Yeah, nah why? (more about this later)Things I loved:For $100 you cannot get a better reliable unit than this one. You can be up and running in no time with this one.Easy to pack and carry. I got this packed in an old backpack along with the mics and wires.The power chard just doesnt plug in, it locks! I have had drunken friends tripping over it or trying to charge their phone with it. Yeah, you read it right. This thing held on nice!My Wish list for this $100 wonderMaybe the output XLR ports could be in the side/back? Makes it look cleaner while performing?Maybe include a small kickstand in the back that will raise up the unit?For few dollars more, lighted backpanel?Now finally the support.So I couldnt get the bluetooth to play but it was pairing and all. Just no volume. I googled and youtubed but no answer anywhere. Not even on their website, manual or any holy book. With only a week left for the party, I called their support and they called me back. After few back n forth and me sharing pictures and small video link of the issue, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and came back with this pearl of analysis: Your iPad Bluetooth is higher version than what we support. Please use an older device. (Oh, I still have that email)I burst into laughter on the call. I said this, “If what you say is true, then not a single bluetooth headset will work with newer phones. Google “Bluetooth downward compatibility”, love. And get back to me yeah?”So they sent it to Tier 2 and then sent me this nugget… “Our unit is not compatible with Mac – iOS”I replied to them, “Well, use your product first. Its the little button for USB that does the trick. When in USB mode, the bluetooth wont work.” No reponse though.

Very good quality mixer for the price!I was a little worried about this mixer when I ordered it, but I am pretty happy I did! I love the dual-XLR/TRS input ports which allow the mixer to be a little more compact. There is plenty of gain in the input path for a cardioid dynamic mic, and the low/mid/high adjustments give a good response and range. My favorite part about this mixer is that you can USB directly to the computer (USB-A to USB-A cable included) and it recognizes it as both an input and an output, meaning you can record into Audacity or your favorite program straight from the mixer and it sounds really amazing! Also, you can output back to the mixer and hear it on the phones/main outputs as well! Overall, for $90, this is an excellent little mixer with lots of great features that sounds wonderful!

Great little board for practicing mixingThis is a great little board, especially for the price. I bought it so I could test some equipment at home, as well as practice mixing. I’m very happy with it.I hooked it into my Pyle shelf speaker receiver using 2 1/4″ to RCA jacks, and it works great.

First impressions and updates, great for start-upsHave yet to use but once I test it I will update Amazon review. Delivery was great minimal damage to the box. Products feels good quality has some weight to it. I will test the product and I will update in what I have liked and disliked.*update*The overall build quickly is great not the best but you know it was made with quality material due to the weight of the mixer.Sound quality is nice, it pared well with our main sound system and did not hear any pops, static, or cutoffs. It’s important to note that you shouldn’t max any of the volumes on a sound system or mixer as that will cause the static and cutoffs to happen. All ports worked and Bluetooth connected but even though I was able to connect sound was not coming out while Bluetooth was in use, I will continue to check what it could be.On to the knobs, button and slider. The knobs felt smooth when being turned, although most people won’t like the friction when turning knobs I for one find it useful as it will prevent human error when raising the volume. For the buttons, they had a nice tactile, click sound with a bit of a springy jump back after being pressed. Some gain/pad buttons though are not aligned at the same level as the others, meaning there is a difference in hight compare to the other buttons when pushed or left un pushed. This could be due to the use of different manufactured gain/pad switches or a bent on the circuit board. This is something minor though. The slider is good, smooth and light. The only thing I’m not liking too much is the effect knob as there is no definite stop but it works out because every time the board is turned on and off the effect counter resets to one.Overall for the price and the quality build it is worth it for anything that you are starting be it a podcast, mixer for karaoke and even for church, just as long as you have speakers that have their own power as this mixer won’t be able to power them on its own.

6-Channel = 4 Discrete ChannelsWas looking for a 4-channel mixer for occasional use. In our configuration, this mixer supports a discrete mic and instrument input for two people. Channel 5/6 share controls (in stereo speak: one channel is Left and one channel is Right). The 5/6 channel supports the Bluetooth/USB function. We used Bluetooth to connect an iPhone playing iReal Pro. Bluetooth connects quickly, but to only one phone at a time, and I believe that the last one connected will take presentence the next time the unit is turned on. Bluetooth range is limited to about 10 – 15 feet. A flash drive connected to USB will play songs in the order they are copied to the flash drive. If the mixer is turned off, songs will restart from the beginning. If paused, songs will start from where paused. Tested USB with MP3s, didn’t try other formats. Playback quality of Bluetooth and USB is good. Didn’t use FX features. Overall its a good unit for the price. Pleased with audio quality, no static, no hums, no noise. :Thumbs Up:

Easy set up for a novice DJI was really worried about blowing out my speakers or my DJ Controller, so I spent weeks researching, but couldn’t understand what all I was reading. So I bit the bullet, bought this mixer, and I’m glad I did.Set this up with an Amazon Basics mic on line 1 with Phantom Power enabled with 1/4″ plug in.I ran my DDJ-400 through lines 3&4 using RCA out to XLR Cables into the mixer. NOTE: don’t turn on the phantom power or you risk blowing your DJ controller.Also hooked in my iPad via Bluetooth to run Pandora/iTunes/Spotify (Just make sure you have the USB Button pressed down). Then some 1/4″ to XLR shorty into 2x 50′ XLR to powered speakers.As a very novice DJ, I was able to read through the instruction manual, then get everything set up, wired, and running within 10 minutes. I now have more than everything I need to run small house parties/events.
