Really good, for the money.What a fantastic deal for the money! I’ve been using it for small gigs, playing my guitar and using a microphone, with an interface coming from my MacBook Pro and into the unit and it sounds wonderful. Do you have to stay away from the unit with your Bluetooth device or you’ll get interference but you only have to go a few feet. It has a great range. I know I was at least 75 feet away from it at one point. I could even use it for larger gigs where I use my big PA system. I just use the output from it into my PA. That way I can use more mics also.

Hissing, distortion, and terrible microphoneI’ve used a similar product by Pyle that was made perhaps 5 years ago that worked great. This unit has a lot of amp noise even with none of the inputs turned up. Switching on the wireless mic makes the hissing louder, even if its fader is turned all the way down. For the mic to work you have to practically press your lips against it, and then it sounds distorted. The switch on the mic doesn’t move easily; to turn it off you have to get your fingernail in the crack to get it going. Might be OK for a beach party or something but for an indoor presentation you may as well get a megaphone.

The sound it’s bad, very low for a 10″ subwoofer.The unit has a beautiful retro look and the subwoofer looks impressive. Blue tooth option it’s great, and the battery life looks good too, but the sound it’s very disappointing. When doing karaoke, with microphone, you can hear yourself over the music. you’re better off singing with a regular radio. Hard to get “tutorials”/info online.

Nice speaker but not 800 wattsBought this for a new work speaker. Wanted something louder then what I have already but turns out my Walmart speaker with max 160 watts is louder then this one that is listed at 800 watts max. I do not understand how this is possible, even my coworkers could not figure out how this one was not louder then the other.

Very good portable amp!This is my second Pyle battery powered speaker/amp. I used the first one over 5 years to teach Dance Fitness, public school music classes and to accompany a show choir.The sound quality is surprisingly loud and has a good tone. The battery is very long lasting. I also like the extra inputs for 2 mics, guitar and a Bluetooth accompaniment track. Also it’s not too heavy to lift on a table or put in the trunk of my car.The front plate that holds the jacks in place needed to be tightened after a few years and the pull handle needed some repairs after several years of use.Overall, this amp was a perfect purchase for my fitness classes and my choir performances. I liked the first one so much, I bought it again. This Pyle battery powered amp/speaker was perfect for my needs.

Great speaker but not as loud as my non Bluetooth model I had beforeBought the non Bluetooth model before this one. Still use an iPod to play music for my PE classes. Had an issue with one of the input jacks on front of speaker disappearing behind console. Had insurance. Replaced non Bluetooth with newer Bluetooth model. Love the wireless mic. Love the cordless with rechargeable battery. One problem! The non Bluetooth was louder than this one. Couldn’t turn old one up all the way. This one I turn up all the way and want it louder. Bummmmed! Don’t know if it’s all of these models or just the one I got. Also my old speaker’s wireless mic broke so I have no mic for my old speaker. Can I just buy a replacement mic for my Pyle speaker? If so where? That’s why I gave it 4 stars
