10 reviews for OPPSK Par Light with 70W 7LEDs RGBWA Stage Lights with Daisy Chaining Power Sound Activated Auto Play by Remote & DMX Control

Very bright for the priceConnected these via DMX to use as truss warmers in an uplight configuration. I’m very pleased with the rich colors and brightness intensity! Very good light for the price. As far as ruggedness; I’d be very careful with these and they will last. If you are just tossing them around, they will break.

Nice UV capability. Nice optionsNot a big fan of the multi LED par lights. Prefer type with LEDs that do all the colors. Purchased this light mostly for the UV capability. Could have purchased a UV light for less, but liked the option of having a RGBAUV light. We will use the UV light to shine on our logo that has white lettering to make it stand out. The ability to use an IEC cord is a plus, along with the power outlet on the back to plug in another light or other equipment. The yoke seems more durable than other LED lights we have. The knobs to tighten the yoke are bigger and easy to tighten. Light does not cover a huge area, but because we like the options this light has, we will be buying another one to help cover the area we need. We did not use the remote as we use DMX. Manual included clear operating instructions and we were able to create a DMX profile.

Great color capability and luminosityPurchased these to supplement some Chauvet SlimPar Q6 lights. The DMX pattern is quite different with the added white channel for the OPPSK lights. Dimmer is on the high channel side with the SlimPar Q6, on the low channel side with these lights (9 channel mode). The luminosity of the OPPSK seems brighter when full on than the SlimPar’s when they are full on. The extra white channel on the OPPSK may account for this. I measured the fan noise with the Android Smart Tools Sound Meter. With the light off the room was about 20 db, with the light on the fan was about 30 db a foot away (back & front). So if things are really quiet you will hear the fans, but in a normal stage environment they should not be a problem. The DMX controls worked just like the manual specified, as did the remote control, but with the remote you can only select 7 colors. The blinking DMX address is annoying, but it can be remedied by a little velcro patch over the display or some black tape. The mounting hardware is good, but the input power connector does seem to not fit as solid as other lights I own. Once the light went out while walking around the room. After pushing the connector in more solidly, I didn’t notice this happening again. I ran it for several hours with no noticeable heat buildup. If the fan could be about 6db quieter, this would be an incredible light for theatres needing flexible wash lighting. Based on the price, however, they are a great value for their light output, quality and flexibility.

Great lights for the priceBeing able to power daisy chain these lights are fantastic and the features are great. I have a large room and the throw on these are very bright even with other lights blasting all around.

Seller Makes the DifferenceAs we all know, most (if not all) of the stage lighting sold on Amazon is sourced from China. The parts, design, and specifications are almost identical across every seller I’ve used. And, as we also all know, quality control on these items is “iffy” at best. I’ve ordered lights, cables, and connectors from multiple sellers and always have some number of items that are bad…cables with wires reversed, or lights that are damaged or don’t power up. The price is so good that we just accept this as normal and hope that the seller will make it right when we have a problem. Here is where OPPSK excels! I ordered multiple lights and had issues to resolve with two. Their communication was excellent from the start and they committed to make me happy…and boy, did they! I mentioned that I was hoping to use all of the lights for a weekend event. They sourced the lights from a nearby partner and rush shipped them to me in time!I will buy all of my lights and effects from OPPSK from now on. The performance and quality of the lights are outstanding, and their service and support is the best I’ve experienced. Great job OPPSK!

Easy to use and looks great!Perfect for a small band lighting setup! Easy to use and light to carry

It looks nicer than normal pars.So over all I think this is a decent light, plan on getting another and using them in a light show later on this year. The build quality feels great and I just like how this par looks. I ran it for a few hours on full brightness with all colors and didn’t see any issues, I definitely got warm but didn’t smell bad or anything like that. The IEC power connector needs to be pushed in pretty tight or it won’t have a solid connection. The RGBWA is always a blessing and to have pure white never gets old. Over all I like it. The only complaint I have is the yoke doesn’t spread very far for setting on the floor, but it seams so be ok, if your hard mounting then no problem.

Great little instrument! Amazing price.VERY happy with these! I am a lighting professional and designer and needed some color punch for a show I was designing. I bought six of these–they worked perfectly with DMX. Brighter than I expected. I used them for backlight at 20 foot trim height (above the stage) and was impressed by the intensity. Also the colors matched perfectly across all 6 instruments–which I have heard can be an issue in cheaper LED lights. DMX set up was easy and intuitive and the booklet that came with each is useful as well. Of course, had buy a clamp and safety cable separately but expected that. They seem to have a small fan but was completely inaudible during the performance, even in quiet moments.I have since used for several shows and no issues. And the description is a bit off–says IEC style poer in and out, but actually they have an IEC power in but Edison style power out (more useful than IEC out IMHO).

Quality Control lacking but they seem like nice lightsI ordered 4 of these — 2 had issues right out of the box. One had something rattling around inside and the other had a fan noise. Using a phillips screwdriver I removed the 4 screws on the front and took the front off. Inside the first light I found a loose screw that didn’t seem to belong anywhere, and inside the second, just an internal power cable was rubbing against the fan blades. I pushed it out of the way and the fan noise was gone. For the price I don’t mind doing a little cleanup from the QC department :PWill report back after using them for productions in the coming weeks!Update: power connectors can be a little finicky but the lights are super bright and beautiful – will buy again.

Please use the safety hook with a safety cable when hanging overhead.Really enjoying these lights after working out the kinks during setup. When setting up for DMX Make sure each fixture is Set to a dmx address before powering up. Having the dedicated amber and UV have added a ton of design ideas when color mixing. Solidly made units but if you’re daisy chaining both power and control it does get a little tight behind (underneath) them.
