AJ44 –
A passable beginner-level light. Gets the job done, but required fixing right out of the box.For house parties or mobile DJs with simple needs, this light fixture offers an easy way to add some color and movement to the festivities. You’ll want multiple units for impact, but affordable pricing makes that possible even on a tight budget. Just be aware that this is as entry-level as it gets. Look elsewhere (and spend more) if you need high brightness, fast movement, even color mixing, or lasting quality/durability.First impressions were not good, as the light arrived completely unresponsive when plugged in. I found a loose wire inside, which was trivial to fix but required breaking the warranty seal. It’s disappointing for such an obvious mistake to slip past quality control (if any). The internal power connector has a locking design, so this clearly was a factory assembly error, not something that shook loose.In use, the light is bright enough for a small room or dance floor, but it quickly gets lost in larger spaces. Color mixing is splotchy (red not blending evenly with other colors), making this suboptimal for theatre and other uses that require a consistent wash of light. The unit offers full-auto and sound-activated operation, with fast/slow movement options, but high-speed strobing is present in all modes. That’s unfortunate, as I prefer to use strobe sparingly.Build quality is adequate for light-duty usage. All-plastic construction, including the yoke, turntable, and pan joint. The two cooling fans are fairly noisy but won’t be heard over loud music. Movement speed is rather pedestrian, with a 540° pan taking 3.5 seconds, and 180° tilt taking 1 second. The unit responds well to DMX, but it annoyingly combines master dimming and strobe controls into one channel.Overall, a serviceable light for basic needs, but just a three-star rating because it needed repair directly out of the box.
Digicabin Family –
Decent but slow for pro useNice, small inexpensive moving head with DMX. Plenty of light and attractive auto shows with sound active mode for home users and easy(ish) to navigate its settings without using a DMX controller. As far for pro use, I wouldn’t be that tempted to buy due to the price because its action is not super responsive if you are depending on accuracy.

A GOOD STAGE LIGHT FOR THE MONEY!The media could not be loaded.
This stage light appears to be one of the better priced stage lights right now. While my lighting needs are probably simpler than most, in that I needed a spotlight, this light more than covered that need. One word of warning though, it really is designed to work with a DMX control board or laptop with DMX software for maximum effect. So if your needs are simple like mine, the learning curve on using the on board, push button, controls can be a bit frustrating without the DMX controller.I found the light to be nice and bright. It is blinding if you look straight into the lights! I shot a video so you can see its rotation ability, as well as its color capability on its demo setting. If you’re looking for a simple spotlight, this is overkill, however if you want a light that can meet the basic DJ or personal party needs, it feels like a solid unit. I’ve had it for about six months and it has worked without issues, each time I’ve used it.

Need a dmx contollerI plugged it in and all the motors work on all axis but I need a good dmx controller to run this setup. I ordered one and when I get it here I will update my review but for now it is sturdy, well build, and can be mounted any direction. Directions are lacking and you need some experience to set this up.

Enviaron producto con defectosEstoy molesto me enviaron un producto de segunda mano, con imperfectos, tiene pelones en diferentes partes de la carcacha, la cinta de la pantalla despegada, y vino con el sello de garantía rasgado como si lo hubieran destapado, la luz funciona pero se ve que fue usada y destapada
