Solid, affordable speakersThese speakers easily fill a room with good, convincing sound and can put out good volume. Also you don’t have to rattle windows to get good sound. I’d be surprised if anything sounds as good or better at this price point.

Don’t use Bluetooth!This is my second pair of Monoprice speakers. I have been very satisfied with the one that I have at home. These one I have hoked up to my work desktop. Initially I tried pairing them, and this worked for one day, though the sound wasn’t very convincing, like somebody had described it here, “lethargic”. Subsequently I wire-connected them with my desktop, and the sound is exponentially better than when paired. So I definitely am not recommending pairing them, just doesn’t work.
