Blue LED way too bright
There are several brands of these all very similar (this particular unit wiring hookup is different). Purchased this one to replace another brand that failed after a few years.I cut the wiring(actual the resistor) inside to disable the lighting.On previous unit I wired bigger resistors and also added a wire from the circuit to my cars dimmable lights as the blue LEDS are way to bright stock. Wish they would have an illumination circuit from factory as this would be a great unit then.I also add a drop of black paint to the indentation on each knob so you can tell easily where it is set to.This particular unit isn’t as sensitive I’ve found nor quite as good sound overall than the last brand I used, still a decent unit though.

Tiny yet works well for nature sounds. Blue light much too bright.
I use it only for nature sound listening and recording, not music. Works very well for reducing ambient urban noise. Tiny size is very convenient. The blue lighting behind the panel is inordinately bright yet serves no purpose. I would prefer the light be able to be turned off.

haven’t determined if this is causing my issues but narrowing it down to be my possible cause. I will say it’s great for price and is made identical to the Skar 7 band equalizer

I run a droid box in my car, I was hoping this would allow me to match my amp inputs due to low output from the droid box, while I had some luck, it just doesnt sound right and I have to turn this thing high or my amps high to get a decent output. trying a dsp next, had a electronic crossover before this, same problem.

Worked great for a about 2 months. Where you plug the RCA jacks at won’t hold the RCA anymore, they just fall right out making the unit worthless!!! Don’t buy.
