Impressed at initial installWe just installed this in our church sanctuary. I stumbled a little with the initial network connectivity and would recommend making sure you use an HDMI cable for initial setup to get to the menu on the camera and set it to DHCP for your network. If you plan to just use NDI, you can disconnect it the HDMI cable after the initial setup. The documentation struggled a bit I think with translation. Aside from that, I’m impressed so far.Pros:* Much cheaper that our first PTZ camera from PTZOptics.* Picture quality is just as good as our other PTZOptics camera.* It automatically detected that it was mounted upside down and adjusted both the picture and the joystick controls (for up/down/left/right)* Once the IP Address on it was set for our network, our joystick controller found it without any need to change the other default configuration on the camera.* Seems to have a wider range of speeds for pan/tilt and zoom compared to our other PTZOptics camera.Cons:* Only one I found so far: When panning/tilting, I see what looks like very minor jerks in the picture. It’s not a huge deal for us, but might be for others.Fingers crossed that it holds up over time without issue, but right now, I’m quite happy.

I love this camera. It makes our meeting broadcast so much nicer. This camera works great for our needs. We set up the camera so that the audio input is plugged into the back of the camera, which keeps the audio and video in sync, and the feed is over our local network, accessible via WiFi. The power over ethernet works well. On my laptop, I simply fire up the NDI Tools, select NDI Webcam Input, and use that to send the camera feed to Zoom. The reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, is because the video feed from the camera isn’t working when we check first thing in the morning. We fix this each time by shutting it down using the physical switch, and starting it back up a few seconds later. It’s good to go after that.I also wish that doing a firmware update was simpler, but it’s not a big deal.

Excellent camera for a great priceHaving never heard of Fomako, I felt like I was taking a risk in ordering this camera. The price was almost too good to be true – half of that of other brands offering the same features. But for the price I was willing to accept a few compromises.I am very pleased to say that this is a excellent buy! The quality of the image is outstanding, even in low light situations. Installation and setup was a breeze, nothing too complicated.I had a few questions which was promptly answered via email.
