Good, not great. Pretty bright and bassy.Bright and bassy if boosted with EQ, no bass or highs without, and midrange is never able to get square in between. I guess it must be a mostly flat speaker with a bunch of narrow frequency spikes. Sounds just as bad mounted in a plywood-backed ceiling tile in the drop ceiling. Needs an enclosure but it’s not worth it. Very narrow spread of the sound, so mount it high and loud or do one every 8 feet on an 8ft ceiling. I’d say it’s a ~25 true watt continuous max. Sounds bad when pushing the limit by a TPA3116 based amplifier which should be about 30 true watts with my PSU/speaker impedance setup.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!Ive had 2 sets of these (Total of 4 Speakers) outdoors for over a year now.Ive put a quality amp to them (about 75 watts each true power) and they rock. Waited a year to see how they held up and couldnt be happier A+

AwesomeThese speakers sound AMAZING! My husband wanted surround sound, he installed them and they sound absolutely great. We have 3 in our living room and 2 in our kitchen. Very happy with this purchase.

Great bang for the buck!Installed these similar to the suggestion in the Q&A portion above the sofa for “Atmos” style listening. They handle music well and movies in Dolby even better. I had planned to box in the speakers with sheetrock to get a fuller sound, but truly gave up after sitting in the attic in the heat. I actually don’t regret it as the speakers sound quite fantastic in the open air environment of the attic. Rich and full inside the living room. Highly recommend. (Blended into POLK LSI 5.1 speakers and being pushed by a Marantz 6012 for reference)

UPDATED: Much better then the Micca M-8Cs and cheaper.I own both the CSic83 and Micca M-8C (you can verify by this same review on the Miccas .) I did a side by side listening comparison on the speakers and determined the following. The CSic83 do have a higher DB. Not sure if it is actually 95db but it is definitely higher then then Micca M-8c. Overall the CSic83 sounded much better on mid level, bass and highs. I used the Grand Funk Vinyl record through a Denon AVR X7200WA for my testing. Most noteworthy were the vocals which were very faint on the Miccas and clear on the CSic83s. Selling the Miccas and using the CSic83s for my ATMOS speakers. I am sure there are better ceiling speakers, but not at this price.
