Missing a few things but works good
Overall, good little lights for the price. Mine came without manuals, remotes and missing some bracket screws. Must have been a return. But was able to figure out the DMX channels. I did reach out about the manuals and they emailed me one the next day. Not worried about the remotes (not using them) or the screws, I had extras for others. Just order in time to check before your gig so there are no surprises. Otherwise, good product. I’m doing DMX lighting for live bands. These will do great for front highlights.

Seems good, but mine didn’t have the power linking feature (with power output connector)
These seem like what I ordered, but the ones I got don’t have the power link feature, which is disappointing since that is one of the things that led me to choose this product. I have tested them a little, and they seem to work just fine. I like the light weight – I saw a comment that the bracket seemed flimsy, but it doesn’t have to support much weight, so I think it will work fine. One other difference… the pictures led me to believe there would be 4 lights and 4 remotes. I got 4 lights and 2 remotes. The documentation in the package says it has 4 lights and 1 remote, so I am not sure if I got too few or too many remotes. In my case it doesn’t matter – I am not using any remotes since I am connecting them to DMX. I will update my review after I test out all the DMX features if necessary.

Well worth it
They do exactly what I purchased them for a smaller lightweight system for bar bands . I own 16 of these they work just fine mounted on 4 – 12’ light trees (4) on each tree . 1 wireless dmx receiver on each tree ! I can literally walk in anywhere and have the system up in 20 minutes . The whole system draws less than 8 amps full on ! And at this price the system pays for itself in 4-6 shows.

I have 20 of these now. Don’t know why I’m not a verified purchaser. Some are mounted, some are loose & bagged for uplighting. If you put plastic washers or an extra nut as a spacer between the two yokes they align better for mounting. Bundling and zip tying the cable will keep them strain relieved for longer life. A/C In is screw booted for service if necessary. So far, no malfunctions. Timers are pretty consistent from one light to the next. If you have several set on color fade, you would have to re-start them every hour or so if one wanders off.Only way to get better $ is to order from China. ABS plastic not bad. The manufacturing is fairly consistent. Internal timers for color fade consistent. No stepping to speak of. Colors are rich for low price point. Yokes could be a bit more heavy duty, but again, 30 something bucks.

Not what I expected.
I have purchased these lights twice before, and have been very satisfied. I hit “order again” on Amazon and ordered two more sets of what I thought would be the same. They are not. The lights received before came with 4-lights and 4-remotes and you were able to ”daisy chain” them together. That is not the case with the ones that arrived last week. The new ones have 2-remotes with 4-lights, and there is no longer a “Daisy chain” feature so extension cords are needed. Not sure why this has been changed, maybe cost cutting, but it should not be in my “buy again” section if they’re not the same. Also, I could interchange the remotes with the last two sets, but have to use the specific remotes designated for these lights instead of being interchangeable.

Por segunda ocasión compro este 4 pack de estas luces, que son muy brillantes y con colores excelentes. Me impresiona su brillo y versatilidad. Me dedico a la iluminación de eventos corporativos ,fiestas etc, y estas funcionan tan bien como alguna de marca famosa. La único es que hay que cuidar el cordón de corriente que viene pegado de fabrica (un pequeño contra) al igual que es plástica (pero no frágil)Lo que pude notar en este segundo 4pck, es que en esta ocasión no trajo la marca imprimida en los soportes que es bueno al momento de los montajes..en resumen Full recomendada..

The fans fail and make a loud buzzing noise. This one is mild compared to the first one.

I purchased eight of these. Three out of eight have developed loud buzzing fan problems. The seller gladly replaced the first one no-questions-asked within the return window. In order to replace the ones that are failing now, they asked me to send a video in the message system. Since I was unable to post the video there because of size restrictions, I posted it here. Perhaps they’ll see it and honor their warranty. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t purchase these again because they fail too quickly and are way too loud for a music studio.

Great value but unable to link the lights using the included remote control. Linking does work using a DMX controller.

Makes a Horrible Scraping Sound
These lights worked perfectly for the first few months, but over time they started making the same sound my dad makes when he’s snoring. It’s horrible. If using these outside, I’m sure it is no big deal, but we were using them in our studio space where the noise severely hindered the audio quality of our recordings.One of them also had a slightly different tint on it and the color was inconsistent from the rest. I’d suggest buying a different product.
