VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: Press Box / Mult box - The ultimate guide how to connect various devices to AudioPressBox

hello everyone we have decided to prepare a comprehensive guide of how to connect and set up various devices to audiopressbox this guide is divided into various chapters and in the menu on the right or in the section below feel free to jump to bayou desired category how to connect a condenser gooseneck microphone to audio press box first of all you plug in the microphone into the desktop then you connect the microphone xlr to xlr cable into the desk stand and then you plug in the cable xlr to xlr into the input section of audio press box then you turn the unit on then make sure that the phantom power button is pressed on it means it's glowing red and the pad button is pressed off again you can adjust uh it should be set to roughly three o'clock so when talking to the microphone it should reach zero db this is a basic setup of how to connect a condenser gooseneck microphone to audio press box and the device is now ready to be used how to connect dynamic microphone to audio press box so first of all you take the xlr to xlr cable and connect it to the dynamic microphone then you take the other end and plug it into the input section of audio press box you turn the unit on and in the input section you make sure that no buttons are pressed only thing that you adjust is the gain so when you are talking to the microphone it should reach roughly 0 db and this is the basic setup of a dynamic microphone together with audio press box how to connect a wireless microphone to audio press box first of all you turn on and set up your wireless microphone receiver then you take an xlr to xlr cable and plug it to the wireless receiver then you take the other end and plug it into the input section of audiopressbox we turn on the unit and in the input section we press on the pad we make sure that the path is pressed then we adjust the gain when talking to the microphone uh it should reach roughly 0 db so we adjust the gain to desired position this is a basic setup of a wireless microphone connected to audio press box how to connect a conferencing system to the audio press box so first of all you turn on the main unit of your conferencing system and you set it up then you take a xlr to xlr cable and plug it into the main unit into the line output then the other end of the xlr you plug in into the input section of audio press box then you turn the unit on and in the input section you make sure to press the pad and adjust the gain so when talking to the microphone it reaches roughly 0 db and this is a basic setup of how to connect the conferencing system to the audio press box directly how to connect a mixing console to audio press box so first of all we take an xlr to xlr cable and plug it to the left output of mixing console then we take the other end of the xlr cable and we plug it to the input section of audio press box we turn the unit on and in the input section we press the pad button and this is a basic setup of how to connect a mixing console to audiopressbox how to connect the condenser gooseneck microphone to mixing console and to audio press box so first of all we connect an xlr to xlr cable into the gooseneck microphone the other end we connect to the mixing console make sure that the phantom power in the mixing console is off then with another uh xlr to xlr cable we connect the output of the mixing console turn the device on before connecting uh the input from the mixing console make sure that phantom power is off and turn or press the pad the pad must be turned on then connect the line input from the mixing console after that adjust the gain so when you are when you are talking to the microphone it reaches roughly 0 db and this is the basic setup of a gooseneck condenser microphone connected to the mixing console and mixing console connected to the audio press box how to connect an active loudspeaker to audio press box so on the back side of your active loudspeaker you set the volume to as minimum as possible then with a standard xlr to xlr cable you connect from the input of the active loudspeaker to any of the outputs of audio press box just make sure that it switch the audio press box output is switched to the line output level then with the volume knob on the loudspeaker you adjust the volume so it's desired voila it's done how to connect an irig to stream video conferences using your smartphone through for example facebook so first of all we connect the uh gooseneck microphone we have explained that earlier so i'll skip the steps here i'll just plug it in so first we take the irix stream uh we have a special cable which is an xlr female to 2 inch we connect this one to the irix stream the xlr female we plug into any of the outputs of audio press box just make sure that it switched to the line output level then we connect the attached cable that came with the iris stream which has either usb c ending or lightning connector for iphone you plug this into your smartphone now to test it you just start a voice recorder and you turn it on and as soon as you start talking you can see that directly on the iric it shows you if the level is okay low or high and you can adjust it with the knob in the middle how to connect a voice recorder to audio press box so for this setup we have connected condenser gooseneck microphone into the input of audio press box then we connect the voice recorder to any of the outputs of audio press box we turn on the voice recorder and here you can see in detail that we have the input one we just make sure depending on the voice recorder but with this one that we either have a mic output level selected on the audio press box and pad is off on the voice recorder or we set line on the output of audio press box and we press the pad on the voice recorder in this case it's a perfect setup to record the signal from the audio press box unit how to connect a professional camera to audio press box so first of all we connect the condenser gooseneck microphone to audio press box we have explained this earlier so i won't talk much about that all right now uh with the standard xlr xlr cable we plug it into the input of the camera the other end of the xlr2xlr cable we plug to any of the outputs of audio press box we turn the camera on then what is important that in the input section settings we select a line input and in the output of audio press box we select the line output now the camera is ready to check it we press on the status check and when talking to the microphone you can very easily see that it's set up perfectly and ready to use this was a setup for a line output level we can do it now the same with the mic so in the output section of audio press box we select mic output level in the camera settings we select mic and again on the status you can very easily see that it's perfectly ready to be used if needed with the standard headphones you can just listen to the output of audio press box just connect it to the camera and when talking you can very easily see that it's set up perfectly alright so this is a basic setup of how to connect a professional camera to audio press box how to connect a camera to audio press box first of all we connect the condenser gooseneck microphone with standard xlr to xlr cable we have explained that a bit earlier how to set that up then we take a 3.5 millimeter jack to xlr cable the xlr we plug in into any outputs of audio press box the 3.5 millimeter jack we plug in to the camera then in the camera settings oh it's different for each type of camera we select the microphone either mic or line output level to match the mic or line input in the camera settings this is a basic setup of how to connect camera to audio press box how to connect a dante enabled press box to the dante network and check it out with the computer so first of all you connect the pos switch with the computer make sure they are on the same network then you connect the poi switch with the dante enabled press box then you go to your pc and through the dante control manager you set it up when you open dante controller you see a window with all dante devices on the network on the top there are dante audio sources also called transmitters and on the left side there are than the receivers to patch or root signal from the source to the receiver just click on the plus to see all the channels and simply click on the desired cross point so you will connect exact transmitter channel to the reservoir channel so in this case some channel from the audio to apb if you click on the select it or cross point you just unroot it i know you can click to the next to make new routing more useful settings are on the device info tab and by double clicking to the apb you will see some more information in the device config tab you can change the name of the apb simply type in what you want and click apply and the name of the apb will change also you can change the sample rate and the preferred encoding on the network config tab you can set up the ip address of the apb by default there is obtain and ip address automatically but also you can change it to manual config so you can type your preferred ip address and click apply and after rebooting the apb will have a new ip address when we click the refresh button and device info we can see the change of the name of the apb and also the change ip address thank you for watching and for any feedback feel free to contact us on sales audiopressbox.com thank you

6. GizmoVine Ethernet Splitter by GizmoVine Review and speed test

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: GizmoVine Ethernet Splitter by GizmoVine Review and speed test

before we get into this video please consider subscribing it doesn't cost you any money whatsoever and it does help me to carry on making videos because without you subscribing i wouldn't even be here anymore so with that shall we get on with it i wasn't sure whether or not to make this video or even get this product because i thought oh it's got a lot of bad reviews on amazon you know it's got some good ones but it got a lot of bad ones and i think well i don't know so i had a good read of it before i decided whether or not it's worth us to do in this video and i've decided to give it a chance so i'm going to explain to you how it works i'm going to show you it working hopefully and i'm going to show you or try and explain to you why you might want to buy this because when you watch it you're going to think well what's the point of that i'm going to explain to you new at the end what the point is so first off we're going to go through have a quick look around because there's not a lot to see it did come in a box but i'd other products in the box so i took it out of the box first and one of them being my microphone kit that i'm wearing right now yeah so with that let's get on with it so first things first i tested all the cables and it's a good job i did because one of the cables these ethernet cables one of them wasn't working well not them but one of them not working and i've got so many cables i just wouldn't have been i could have repaired it but it's only a little cable and i thought there's no point so make sure you've got one of these little baby because without that i would never have known it was the cable i would have thought ah assembly not working so that's something to bear in mind you want to go through that so just get this little baby out and i'll quickly show you around i know what you're thinking when you get into it you're gonna go well that's pointless but there is a point to this or there is a point to this product and it does make sense in the end so instructions right i'm going to quickly show you the instructions that is it yeah that is it but it's very important that people read the back yeah there is a reason for that and like i said we will get there so these are it they feel quite nice actually they look nice it says gizmo vine on now and you have two connections there and one connection there and that's exactly the same so they're identical and the way it works is you have from your router two cables yeah plugged into your router and then you plug them into this like so so that's one and then what you do is you plug in a single cable like so and you plug the single cable into the other one right so so that is it so you have two internet coming in like so i will explain to you why you might want to buy this and why people might want to need this and then this is for the computer that's down there that one over there that screen there this is for that one and this one is the one behind me now this is a cat eight i've done a review on that some time ago this is a cat what is it cat 5e well basically a cat six i believe they are and these these two are what we got what got uh not sure cat five cat five yeah cat five and this one is yeah cat five so yeah two yellow ones cat five and the one in the middle made by virgin apparently and it doesn't tell you so i'm guessing it's probably a cat 5e because it's quite new i know it's a cat six there you go so a good mixture of cables there so we've got a couple of fives we've got six and we've got an eight oh and five e so good mix of cable so that's how it works so that's your internet that's you they're your internet cables coming from your router this is just a single cable going from one to the other and these both go to the two computers okay i understand and look that's already come up already so that's working so i'm going to show you that one first we are going to do a couple of tests we're going to do a couple of speed tests right because you're going to want to see how fast they can run it's supposed to go up to 100 megabits right i'm not sure that if that's 100 megabits per each one i don't know so like i said we are going to do a speed test so i'm going to do on there first and then on that well actually thinking about i would do them both at the same time just to see what happens so give me a second while i've set them up right so they're all set up they're both ready to go and we're going to press them both at the same time always near the same time possible so a three two one go and there you go so you get a ping of eight seconds download speeds of 65 plus uploads of nearly 15 and ping online downloads 87 and uploads to 16. so it does work and you're getting quite good speeds out of it you know like i said nearly 100 on that one and it's 87 point something what i'm going to do now while we still got them plugged in is i'm going to rerun this one again just on its own to see what the speed can go up to and there you go so they do work and yeah up to a hundred megabits per second that's what it says so i wasn't expecting it to be bang on a hundred that is acceptable in my opinion let me know in the comments whether you think that's acceptable for 100 megabits or up to 100 megabits i think that's acceptable that one done 87 when we have both plugged in at the same time right so they do work and this is where i think the information is getting confused i think people are trying it a different way around they're probably plugging one into the router and you know two coming out you need to read you need to read the instructions so you have a clear understanding of how these things work right now let's get to the nitty gritty so why would you want to buy something like this why not just plug these in individually into the router and just plug the cable straight into the computers well the reason for these is if it's going through a wall you can either drill two holes and put two cables through the wall so let's say your routers on the other side of the wall yeah and your computers are in there and you've got two computers in your laptop or something like that do you really want to make two holes in the wall no not if you can help it you're better off just making one so if you don't need to worry about you know massive speed you just need to access the internet for general stuff you know this might be the ideal thing because the idea is you have one of these on one side of the wall you put the cable through the wall and you plug the other one in the other side of the wall see do you understand it makes perfect sense to me when it's explained like that so i thought yeah what is the point i'm thinking myself what is the point of these why don't you just that's coming out that one's got no clip and then i think you know you just plugged your router you just plug the cable straight into your computer and then when you read it properly it actually says it's so it can go for a wall that is the point of the these little things and they work as you can see they're never going to be massive speed unless they upgrade this summer i'm not sure but they work it definitely gets my thumbs out it works it does what it's supposed to do and yeah for the price i think it's about eight maybe nine pound that was it for the power yeah and uh yeah does the job so anyway if you have any comments please post them below if you like this video don't forget to give me the thumbs up if you didn't give me the thumbs down and don't forget to subscribe like i said at beginning it does help the channel to keep growing thank you very much for watching

9. 10/100 BaseT Wiring Splitter (04 Wiring) – How Does It Work?

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: 10/100 BaseT Wiring Splitter (04 Wiring) - How Does It Work?

hello and welcome to show me cables today we'll be taking a look at wiring splitters this is the 10 100 base T wiring splitter with O 4 wiring before we get into the features and applications of the splitters I want to clear up one area that can be really confusing the wiring splitters need to be used in pairs they cannot be used to split one Ethernet signal into two signals now that that's out of the way let's see how these splitters work the wiring splitter features two female rj45 ports and a six inch cable with an rj45 male plug for anyone not entirely clear on rj45 s rj45 is the larger plug found on ethernet cables not the smaller plug known as rj11 or rj12 that you would find on a telephone cord the splitter also has the option to be easily wall-mounted and include the necessary mounting screws how it works is that it will allow you to take two ethernet signals from your source let's say a modem switch or router so that's two cables coming from your source then you can plug the two source cables into the splitter combining both signals into a single cable this is typically done at a wall plate or patch panel your signals are then carried across a single line and up to your output wall plate where you will plug in your second wiring splitter and finally take two more Ethernet cables to connect from the second wiring splitter into the two devices that need data to recap you will take two ethernet cables from your source into the splitter your signal is run across a single line then it is split back out from the second wiring splitter and out to your devices now you may be asking why even bother why do I need splitters I can just run two cables well it can actually be a lifesaver for installs where you need to add a second data line but only have one cable run in wall instead of running an entirely new length of cable through the wall you can just add a couple wiring splitters on either end and you're good to go hopefully this is answered any questions you may have had on wiring splitters if you still have any questions you can give our customer service department a call at eight eight eight five one nine nine five zero five four all of your cable and connector needs choose show me cables
