Best local antenna on the market
I have been selling and installing local antennas since he big dish days. Winegard use to make a home version of this antenna. But stoped 6 months ago. So I now buy this replacement antenna for an rv. Then smash the small end of a 10 ft top rail chain link fence pole to fit in it. Put it 4-5 feet above a house and it works great.Remember this is an amplified antenna does not come with a power supply like the home version did. So I buy the directv model PI 21 power supply to power it up.

Works well except mine wasn’t black like the images show and I wanted a black one.
I bought the Winegard Sensor IV to replace the original Sensor antenna that was on my 2004 Winnebago. The antenna still worked well and there was no problems other than it was sun-baked faded white and rather weathered looking. I wanted the new Sensar IV in BLACK as pictured in the description along with the customer review supplied image and what’s also shown on the Winegard.com website. It is much cheaper using Amazon Prime as opposed to buying it directly from Winegard, so I placed the order with Amazon. When I got the box and opened it, I saw that it was NOT black. The center was black but the wings and the Wingman portion were not black as pictured. The bat wings or “elements” were unpainted brushed aluminum. The antenna worked fine but I was replacing my original antenna purely for cosmetic reasons. I have replaced all the vent covers along with the refrigerator vent cover on the roof with black or clear smoked covers and I wanted an all BLACK Sensar IV AS PICTURED, but that’s not what I got. I note that in the product details if you click on “More Product Details” then click on “exterior” it does say that it might come with unpainted elements which are the wings.NOTE to Amazon customers: Winegard dropped the ball. After repeated conversations with Winegard and FINALLY talking to someone who knew what was going on, the person informed me that Winegard production DOES NOT paint the elements any longer as pictured and they failed to give that information to IT for updated pictures and internet product sales or their own customer service team or provide that information to their venders and sellers. You WILL NOT GET ONE COMPLETELY BLACK AS PICTURED any longer.UPDATED: I painted it myself. Looks nice this way as opposed to the stainless look, also pictured.

Used to replace Concord antenna head
My motor coach had a fully electric rotating Concord Series 90 VHF antenna with three collapsing mounting legs. This looked very similar but with 2 mounting legs, so I decided to try it. I took off the old antenna and drilled out the plastic screws that held the bottom on which had the three mounting tabs for my existing system. I then took the Winegard antenna head apart and used small bolts to attach the Concord base to the Winegard base (They actually line up and the two rubber feet positions on the Winegard were removed and housed bolts perfectly. However, the front rubber foot position cannot be used for a bolt whereas it interferes with the third leg collapsing. I mounted two thin screws/nuts on the outer edge instead.) I then attached it like the old Concord head and it works perfect with the exception that the electric motor only spins 180 degrees.

works
works as good as the original one I took off, I like that it is black as it now matches the RV better. My old one stopped working, I dont know why, not much to them. Range is not great, I am thinking of getting a better one. It is perfect as a factory replacement.

Took me 10 minutes to replace the old one and works good and looks great
I order the black Winegard cause my 2005 outback has black border on the bottom and just look little modern than ordinary white one.Took me 10 minutes to replace the old one and works good and looks great. I am in the rural area now so signal are pretty weak but this picked up 13 channels.Couple things before I order this was process of illumination. Which one was bad? TV, Antena, or cable? So I made coat hanger antena myself, hooked up to the TV and it picked up couple of channels so TV works! Yeah! Then tried cable with volt meter. No luck. If the cable was bad, replacing it could be husle. Lastly I using long cable connected TV to roof top antena. Didn’t work. So I made cheapest and eadiest decision to purches Winegard.Thank God! It was antena and looks great!

Winegard “House” antenna rocks my tv!
I had purchased a 100 mile range antenna from Amazon. I live in a rural are and most stations are 40 miles plus. The first antenna pulled in 4 stations. What? So I cranked up our Motorhome antenna in the driveway and whala….I had 22 channels. So I thought why couldn’t this work on my antenna mast. I had to find some square tube that fit the Winegard and modified it to bolt to my mast. So when I go in the house and run a scan I’ve found 33 total. This thing works. I also installed the 12 volt signal booster made by winegard and ran it off of a old step down charger.

Did not last
Quit working after about 3 months. Not a good product

Well made
There are other brands that seem work as well and are less expensive, but this is the only one that will fit our mast, which this model came with.
