Amazing!I was really skeptical about these for three reasons:1. Would the battery life hold up2. Would the sound quality be any good?3. How difficult would it be to connect to my Amazon Alexa setupI can say these exceeded my expectations in all 3. I am actually writing this while sitting outside listening to them. They have been sitting through 3 days of rain and fired up right away and sound amazing. Easily connect to my echo dot inside the house about 4 feet away. The sound quality is as good as my Bose outdoor wall speakers – yes I am serious. I am sitting here contemplating buying more to go around the house – it says it supports up to 99 connected and about to try it out lol. Wish they were $100 instead of $175, but they are still worth it.
The Shield –
Good Speakers..almost completely satisfiedThey are very very good. I dont play them loud, just soft music for lounging in the back yard. The problem I’m having is the #1 speaker I’m bloetoothed first to seems to “blink” in and out. The other speaker that Bluetoothed to the first speaker keeps playing. The blink or “cut out” only lasts for 1-2 seconds….cuts quiet then back on. It blinks once or twice like every 5-7 minutes. Not really a big worry, but for the price paid should work flawlessly. Its possible its cuz my phone is doing something and interupts the music, but id think then it would do it to both speakers. Yes I tried bluetoothing to the other speaker first…same thing happens but w that speaker and the other keeps playing. Seems to only happen to the initial speaker. Strange but not a big enough problem to want to return them. All in all they are awesome and I’ll prob get 2 more to put more around the backyard oasis. Havnt had them in the rain yet, no report on that yet.

Great speakers for the price pointThese speakers are perfect for the price point. I got 2 sets to surround my pool and deck and couldnt be happier. I do bring them inside when I am not using them for the most part but I have left them out in the rain a time or 2 and they still work fine. All 4 pair perfectly and the sound quality is reasonable and loud. Glad I got these for now instead of paying top dollar for some of the more name brand products. Only downside is some of the speakers do cut out periodically but I think thats reasonably expected for any bluetooth product

Well worth the moneyWas pleasantly surprised by these speakers. I placed them around my property, about an acre and they are very clear and loud. I bought 2 sets because I was afraid 2 speakers wouldn’t be enough. I can have quite the entertainment with these speakers

Charger no longer workingLove the product, but after 3 years of working, the charger no longer works/charges. Do we need a new charger and if so, where do we get one?

Here’s my review, fresh outta the box, the usb din plug doesn’t fit one of the speakers, had to hold the charger plug in order to charge the one speaker, according to the Manuel it takes 7 hrs to charge for 6 hrs of play, haven’t tested the battery limit as of this moment, sound wise, you have to play with your eq settings on your Bluetooth device to get what ever sound pleases you best, also there is no stereo separation between speakers, so it’s mono sound, that being said they’re just about the same volume as a jbl charge 4, but with the jbl’s you get stereo separation, do I think they’re worth the money, no way, maybe if they were $99 but I can’t justify paying this much for mono sound, ascetically they will blend in with your garden or pool area, I have them set up about 40ft apart, spacial wise they’re not strong enough to fill an outdoor area unless it’s quiet, curious as to how more than 2 would sound, but even still 99 speakers without stereo separation is a deal breaker for me, update: one of the speakers keeps cutting out, rather together or apart, another deal breaker for me, too bad I really liked the rock look

One speaker worked great, other was defective out of the boxHad I received two working speakers I would have rated this at least 4 stars. The one speaker that does work sounds good, connects easily to my phone and the other speaker, sound quality is decent (as expected for the price range). The second speaker however connects properly to my phone by itself and pairs with the other speaker just fine after a few tries. The problem is the second speaker only plays at a barely audible sound level. Volume level can’t be adjusted up or down, just plays at the minimum level when it is on and connected. I tried contacting customer support for a replacement for the defective speaker, but the agent had “technical issues” just as we started discussing a resolution. Very frustrated as I do not wish to go through the hassle of returning these and hoping a replacement set would actually contain two working speakers…
