Description
Skar Audio engineered the SKA7EQ 7 band 1/2 DIN car audio graphic equalizer so that you can finally take full control over your car audio listening experience, dialing the sound into perfection. Featuring two sets of RCA inputs (main and a selectable auxiliary input), this EQ takes your input signal and allows you to modify and adjust the sound to your liking. The output signal is then delivered via the high voltage (up to 7V max) pre-amp RCA outputs for the Front, Rear, and Subwoofer channels (the subwoofer out-put channel features an independent volume control knob on the front of the unit as well). 7 fully adjustable -12 dB to +12 dB EQ bands (50 Hz, 125 Hz, 320 Hz, 750 Hz, 2. 2 kHz, 6 kHz, 16 kHz) with built-in fader control.

Tried this in home audio 12v setup but it introduces noise when the gain is turned up on amplifier.
tried to use this to boost my PC audio signal into a 12v setup in the garage. I wanted to run the amp gains lower and thought this could boost the signal but it required the same gain setting and once I put the gains to the original setting it introduces noise to the speakers.

Make it BUMP LOUD THOUGH 👍👍👍
Very good & simple EQ to install will boost your system no dought if you like it loud and you can also control your subwoofer gain & volume right from the EQ👍👍👍

Some knobs are very stiff, some loose. Top decal has started to peel in warmer weather
I bought this unit originally because I thought there were no LEDs behind the knobs because the description never mentioned them. They are bright and blue. I got past that. Some of the knobs feel way too stiff and some feel very loose. The tmperatures outside effect how loose or tight the knobs are. That gets real annoying.Layout/order of the knobs is dumb, relearning habits around a dumb setup feels futile. Why this thing is BARLEY wider than a single din unit is a very poor design. I had to alter and custom fit this into my dash. If it was just a bit slimmer, the STANDARD din width, it would be much easier to install. The top decal has began to peel and is super ugly.Very disappointed in this product. Two stars because it wasn’t DOA and the EQ knobs did effect the sound. Not well tho.

Okay. Look no further…
This thing is what you need for good quality sound, and to increase those weak 2v preouts from your headunit. I’ve got a pioneer double din that has two preouts at 2v. Sub and door speakers. Hooked this to the full range, ran both my sub and 4ch amp rca cables and viola! Cleaner power runs, more fine tuning than my headunit, and full control with knobs.I don’t use the two highest frequencies, and I stray away from 50hz anymore due to getting too happy with it and clipping subs and keep it in the default position.I turned my 125 down below half, about a quarter turn from off, my 320 is at halfish, 750 well above half and 2.2k a hair above half. My skar tx6.5s scream and sound great! The lights aren’t too blinding.

Need dsp
Not to bad at for sure improved sound just need better filter for sub so 50hz does effect front and rear outputs
