Some features don’t work. The PLINK3 is just decent, currently using it with a PS5, and it has clear video quality and a pretty low latency that is actually playable through the OBS preview. However, it doesn’t support some features that it claims it does.Things it WILL do:- 1080p60fps recording- 1440p60fps recording- 1080p120fps PASSTHROUGHThings it WILL NOT do:- 4K (at all)- 1080p120 recordingOther issues:It seems there isn’t any quality difference between NV12, YUY2, and XRGB, So I don’t think that it’s working correctly (Also, setting XRGB caps the card to 1080p 30fps if you didn’t know, but XRGB still didn’t work properly even at 30fps). Another issue is with the color range (Limited / Full). None of the tested configurations I tried gave me the correct white/black levels, but setting it to “Limited” in both the PS5 and OBS gave me the best result out of all of them (dark levels were still crushed a bit). Audio is also very delayed for some reason. I had to set a negative delay in OBS to compensate for it, which is fine, but neither of my Elgato products need to do this, and someone looking for a plug and play option might not be satisfied with having to find the correct delay amount.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the PLINK3, as there are better options out there (such as a refurbished EVGA XR1 Lite or XR1 Pro). Of course, if money isn’t an issue, you can always buy the Elgato 4k60 Pro Mk2, the Avermedia Live Gamer 4k, or similar cards.

Works Great!Works great in conjunction with OBS Studio. Some of the cheaper units are said to get hot while in use, this one does not. It’s a little tricky to get the sound synchronized with the video, but it works perfectly once you get the latency set correctly.

  3. Ravyn Robertson

LatencyThere was too much of a delay in the video. Could be blamed on user error, but it took a while to figure out how to connect it to OBS and my Sony handycam. Picture quality wasn’t great (could have been my camera), but latency was really bad.

  4. David Benitez

es justo lo que esperaba, no incluye hdmiThe media could not be loaded.

the sound card works surprisingly well, no extra sound card needed for the capture.1080 60fps tested via discord and streaming on twitch (obs)Latency is almost zero, it is possible to play through usb, (recommended for casual play)polished finish, looks great.

UVC Compliant! This this is UVC compliant from a brand we recognize for a GREAT price! This means there’s no needed drivers, no fancy software to use or anything it just works out of the box 4k 60fps that works on Windows, Mac, Linux, and FreeBSD (openBSD is its own can of wurms and haven;t tested it there).it’s kinda shaky on hotplugging though but really for an internal device like this your probably not going to do that too often.

Must haveIt’s 1080p full HD and up to 60fps. Easy plug and play without needing to set it up to use it. It allows you to easily stream live or manage your recorded media to social media or YouTube. It can capture and livestrean video from the fame console, mobile, set-top box, DSLR, action cam, camcorder and so much more.

Very nifty device and the prize was amazing.Great quality, no lag, plug & play. It’s fantastic because it support up to 4K which is what we all like to see now a day. It is a small device so it’s easy to carry around or tuck behind the TV. It’s connecting to my laptop VIA USB-3 port so the transfer rate is pretty fast. Totally worth the money if you are into recording your own stream and such.

This is NOT a 4K capture deviceAt first glance this device seems to be a 4K capture card, unfortunately that is NOT the case. This card is a 4K pass through with only Full HD capture. It works fine as such, however if you’re looking to capture 4K then this device isn’t going to do it for you.Actually I haven’t found any true 4K capture consumer devices on the market. The best I’ve seen is 2K in the EZCAP Gamedock Ultra which I recommend over this card.

  9. TechoFish

Works greatGot this to capture some of the video to do some editing. The device is pretty simple. Just plug in HDMI into instead of going to the TV and you can pass through HDMI using the HDMI port. It’s powered by the USB connected to you computer. The image quality is great and captures at 1080p HD and 4k. I’m happy with it so far.
