I should have bought this years ago
Fits perfectly in my standard music/computer equipment rack. Professional looking, handles all 10+ of my devices plugged in, and out of sight in the back. I love the 3 outlets and 4 USB that I can plug my “move-around” devices in easily. Very solid and attractive build!

Enough outlets to replace 2 surge protectors!
Perfectly fine for audio/computer equipment. Got a thunderstorm here last week and everything was fine, even when we have a few brownouts and one blackout. Would buy again if I have a need to.

Excellent product, but take note if mounting in a 19″ rack.
The Pro Audio Power Supply Surge Protector (PCO865) is a great product. My only complaint is, the unit should be able to be mounted in a universal rack. The mounting slots on the device’s front mounting brackets are wider apart than the standard 19″ rack hole spacing (18.312″ centre to centre). I had to elongate the slots to be able to secure the device in the rack. This is the reason I gave it a 4 out of 5.

Pop-spark-smoke within minutes of turning on…
I was very excited to purchase this for my IT closet that houses my router and networking peripherals (e.g. NAS, Smarthub, VOIP, etc…) With so many devices having bulky DC plug-in bricks, use of a typical surge protector would result in covering every other outlet and this pig-tail power distribution design is the perfect solution. Unfortunately, I was unable to effectively use the unit, as within a few minutes of turning on there was a pop and spark from within the left side of the unit and a little puff of smoke. Clearly I wouldn’t now trust this with my devices, so I have ordered a replacement. I’ve decided to give this one more shot because it really is an excellent solution….but reading through the other reviews demonstrating poor quality control will have me thoroughly testing the unit for function and proper outlet grounding before installation.9/8/22 update: So I received the new one yesterday, and just turned it on – so far, it seems to be working and the USB ports work as well (forgot to mention they were nonfunctional on the previous unit). So, I’ll give it another couple of stars for now, and check back in a bit.
