    Wish it wasn’t 8ohmThis is a free air speaker designed to be installed in the ceiling or in a wall and doesn’t require airspace to function properly like many speakers, although it would benefit the overall sound if the user did factor in airspace to improve lower response. After installation the speaker blends well into the surroundings and doesn’t draw attention to itself. It’s a coaxial configuration so it doesn’t need a crossover and can handle a full audio signal. A significant downside is the impedance of the speaker. It’s 8 ohms and takes a lot of power to give it any real volume which is kind of antiquated. If it was designed for 4 or even 2 ohms the output would be significantly higher and there would be many wiring options. 8 ohms may be a limitation in a modern, hi-fi system. Overall, it’s a reasonably priced, entry level component that sounds good but doesn’t have the greatest output. A serious audiophile should probably pass but this is a reasonable option for many people that don’t want to spend a fortune and don’t need an expensive and complex system.

    sounds great! 🔊This is a part of my new hardwired surround sound system. It’s sounds great! It was beyond easy to install – I really like hardwiring it rather than bluetooth. It’s also nice that I’ll be able to paint it when the time comes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍😁👍🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊

    Very loud and big and great quality sound systemYou get a very large speaker system. It had one inside and its size was 6.5 inches. The sound was fairly high and without any statics. Very clear and looks great on the ceiling. I had another one on my wall so I got this to add on and now my room is perfect. The sound from both is exotic and sounds excellent. Much louder and perfect.For a bedroom or a bathroom, I would get one but for a larger living area, I would prefer two of them. I had my previous one on Bluetooth and you would need to order another device to make this one Bluetooth as this one is hard-wired. So it’s not Bluetooth enabled.
