    Understanding this switch
The media could not be loaded.

You have two in feeds and 2 outfeeds in the back of the splitter you don’t select the one coming in that is determined by which console is on ( or component you have plugged in to the infeed so only turn on the one you want not both)you can only choose what screen to watch with the out control button the splitter allows you to switch your screen choice going out. I found that the PlayStation five is unable to use its own cool features to automatically go on when you hit your controller PS five button so I had to revert back to plugging the PS five directly into the back of the TV’s HDMI port to get the features of the PS five to work correctly but what I use the switch for now is I go to my big screen or redirect to my little 32 inch screen which is place behind me for my children to play video games, if I’m not watching television or anything I’ll let them play on the big screen and then all I have to do is hit the screen select button on the splitter

Doesn’t support HDR as it claims, bad power connector. Micro-USB is terrible
This device does what it’s supposed to when it works, but it doesn’t pass through the HDR signal as it claims it does. I noticed my colors were off, and when I opened the settings on my PS5, it said my TV doesn’t support HDR. I know for a fact that it does because it’s one reason why I bought it. To test my theory, I plugged the PS5 straight into the TV. HDR came back on. I also hooked it up to another HDMI switch that also supports HDR. It also worked just fine. Either this unit is defective, or it never supported HDR to begin with. That’s a deal breaker for me, so it’s going back. Also, the power connector inside the box was really poorly mounted. The signal would flicker on and off. It would work fine if you push the connector in really hard…like enough to break it. Something wrong there. A decent device wouldn’t be using a Micro-USB anyway.

Works as intended. Optical out for pure sound.
I have an older amplifier for 1080p and a 4k TV. I needed a splitter to seprate audio for the amp and send the 4k signal to the TV. This compact item saved me $250 by avoiding the purchase of a new 4k amplifier. I am using the optical out. Perfect setup for now. The amp runs audio perfectly and I gained 4k TV again. Used for Roku, PC games, Blu-ray with HDMI. Never needed the remote as the signal self selected between the sources.

I needed a splitter that would split video and audio. Can’t beat it for the price. Works wonderfully.

Don’t buy it if you need 1080p
I purchased this splitter to connect my tv to my pc and this was advertised to work with both 4k and 1080p but when I hooked my monitor back up it wouldn’t work. The splitter kept trying to upscale the picture to 4k but my monitor can only do 1080p.
